El Toro Mexican Restaurant, Baytown TX

Yummy as always, taco salad served in a giant Taco shell, looks like too much taco! Fun, service ended up being great, went at shift change and was forgotten, but they sure made up for it! Prices significantly higher than other locals, but the ambiance and service are worth it.

Great food. Love their chips & queso. Perfect chips are cook just right not to hard not to salty. The queso has a great taste. La familia appetizer is great to start. Pork skin, guacamole, cactus, onion, cilantro and queso. Is to die for

Had the enchilada dinner. It was great. Atmosphere was lively, we walked in sat down right away. I could see there being a wait, good place.

Always fast service good food. Sometimes you have to wait for a table. But the good food makes up for it

It was our first visit and it was awesome! Both the food and the service were excellent. We live in Orange Tx.but we will be back. I definitely recommend this restaurant

The tortilla soup was good even though the chicken in the soup was dry. Service was good, the waitress was friendly

Gee I am sure it was nice experience or I wouldn't have given five stars. Hope they start serving fried mushrooms with a selection of dipping sauces instead of a baked mushroom with red sauce and allot of cheese. With all that cheese with mushroom I would just as well go eat somewhere that served deep fried cheese. Thank you

Fantastic Experience. Great food! Especially steak fajita enchiladas and tortilla soup. Great server. Just perfect! And Christmas decor was simply the best!

Better service this time, but one patron was allowed to take 16oz of ice cream which emptied the machine of frozen soft serve. The next patrons got none. This is totaly wrong. Not sure that I will go back.

Service was good and so was the food. Good variety on menu. Will be coming back next time we are in the area

Food is always great and service is normally great as well. We've had the waiter named Hunter a few times now; he is on point and extremely well mannered.

This was my second time here. Staff was very friendly upon arrival and we were sat quickly. The atmosphere was pleasant and good music played in the background. I was recommend the mora fresca margarita which was awesome! Not too strong and was good till the last sip. Our food was nice and hot and came out fast.

Tried to make a reservation to avoid having to wait an hour to be seated. Was placed on hold for 5 minutes. Then they told me thar they don't do reservation for parties less than 10 and that i could just be on the waitlist. DISAPPOINTED!

I worked here a few years ago and had dinner there last night. Amber was our waitress and she was AMAZING, of course having worked there I was kinda picky and she was so nice and attentive. She even went out of her way to make little stocking filled with candies for the kids at her tables, what a saint. She did a wonderful job and went out of her way to spread Christmas cheer! I highly recommend her! Oh the food is also the bomb dot com!

Everything we ordered was delicious with one exception, the garlic butter served for dipping bacon wrapped shrimp was awful. Restaurants should never send out anything other than real butter to the table with seafood. The taste of margerine was so disappointing with what should have been a delightful bite of shrimp. Up until that point I was pleased and excited, especially after trying keto friendly appetizer that was on the menu, it was absolutely delicious.

Good place for lunch. I was here on business and enjoyed the food and service. I will be back to as there are other menu items I that look good.

Ordered the fajitas for 10-12 for a family after a death. The order not only came with enough food for 15-20, they included plates, plasticware, large spoons and tongs for the rice, beans, pico, etc. Not a single thing for the family to wash afterwards! And the food was absolutely delicious- as usual. Well done El Toro! You made me look like a hero!

Lunch menu is excellent. Portion size is perfect. Pricing is very reasonable. Fresh delicious food. Quick service. Always packed.

Love the food and atmosphere but dang they have gotten pricey! And they nickle and dime you for every little thing! To go orders they charge you a packaging fee.
