El Toro Mexican Restaurant, Baytown TX

This is probably their flagship restaurant. It's our favorite location. Everything is good here. It's my husband's favorite spot for Tex-Mex and it's always busy even midweek!

Love the atmosphere and the wait staff, very thoughtful and kind. They always make you feel at home.

So I love El Toro and this one is great but I tend to enjoy this one more for dates and drinking where as the original location tends to have a little bit better food I know I know it's the same restraunt but I always get the fajitas and the original tends to be a bit better. But as far as ambience and more of a dining experience I'll go with this location.

I came here for the first time to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday and asked them to come out and sing for her birthday. We ate our meal and paid for our check and kept getting told they'll be out soon but never came out to sing for her. Very disappointed.

Food quality and service is very inconsistent. I used to love going to eat here, but the last couple of years have been disappointing. The food prices have sky rocketed and the quality has gone down. It's a shame. My favorite childhood restaurant had gone down the drain.

Ejoyed the fajitas, server was smiling and efficient and it was a pleasant atmosphere. Would recommend.

Tried the queso as an app, and the beef fajitas and the diablo pasta for our main. All three were really good. I recommend getting tortillas with your queso. Its amazing! It was a bit pricey, but we definitely will go back again for sure!

Beautiful Mexican restaurant you can take a large group to eat together inside or outside. We usually start with drinks, chips and red and the best green salsa. There is a variety of choices on the menu. I prefer the enchiladas or Tortilla soup. My husband prefers to eat the fajitas and shrimp. My family and I have been going for years. The fast friendly service and food has always been great at all of their locations for lunch or dinner.

The best restaurant in town. Good costumer service the food it’s absolutely good the staff is very respectful and nice. Clean and family welcome if the have more star I will rate more Jonathan he’s waiter was very fast and respectful.

Really great friendly service. The food was good and reasonably priced. The frozen margarita not so much.

Beef was seasoned very well. Perfect TexMex queso. Seemed a little pricey (for 2 tacos al carbon) but a good place and good experience.

If you’re looking for Mexican this is not the place to look. If you’re looking for good drinks, good service, nice atmosphere, ok food this is your place. I’ve been here multiple times and never leave disappointed. It’s one of the few places in Baytown that can accommodate big groups of 20+. It’s not my first choice, but not a bad choice.

Beautiful restaurant, clean bathrooms, and very good service! Often very busy but it's big so can handle big crowds!

I tried this out for the first time and really liked it. The service was quick and the food was delivered to the table hot. The parking lot was full at night and I had trouble finding a parking place the first time here. Once parked I was seated immediately and was impressed with the wait staff. I went back later this week and will go again when I happen to be in the area.

Worst service i have ever had there, and then they were extremely rude and defensive when i asked about some items on my ticket that were not mine.

Not good experienced! They seated us, then asked us to move. We had to look into the kitchen area.looking at trash cans! Not appealing at all! Food was not that good!
