Epic Eye Care, Garland TX

This clinic was one of the best ones I been too. I got there and was immediately helped and welcomed. The workers there are very nice, friendly, and helpful! Dr. Tran was super fast and helpful as well!

I found Dr. Tran's office as I was driving down Beltline Rd in Garland one afternoon. The sign ''Epic Eye Care'' caught my attention, and since I had previously been to see another eye specialist not far from his office; and because I was not happy with the final results, I made an appointment with Dr. Tran. I had also referred a friend of mine to visit the previous eye doctor, and I went with my friend on two or three occasions to have her eyes checked. When we left for the final time, I was not pleased with the examines and the charges. It was obvious the doctor was strictly interested in how much money she could make from my friend. She ran numerous test and each one was very expensive; needless to say, she could not come up with a diagnosis.

That was my main reason for making an appointment with Dr. Tran. Since the first time I visited his office. I and my friend and several others whom I have recommended see Dr. Tran for any eye problems have done so for several years now. Dr. Tran is a very unique person and an exceptional human being and Eye Doctor. He has diagnosed and treated my eye problems and many of my friends' ever since I first met him. He has also referred me to a couple of other eye specialist for special treatments which were required. Dr. Tran is truly one of a kind! And he is very knowledgeable and precise in his profession. I am 73 years old and have seen more than a few medical doctors, dentists, and eye doctors during my life time. Dr. Tran is the exception, and he has been a true blessing to me! I have the utmost appreciation and respect for this man. If you are in need of a wonderful eye doctor, go see my friend, Dr. Pui Tran. You will see first hand exactly what I have been talking about. The Dr was very rude and short but Im giving him one stat because I just did a follow up appointment with someone else and realized he gave me the WRONG PRESCRIPTION! No wonder I've had so many issues since seeing him. Do not recommend!

Dr. Tran and his staff were extremely friendly and thorough. We had a great experience overall and plan to make this our eye care home!

I love my eye doctor. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend them to everyone. I have a really difficult prescription and he gets it on point everytime. My kids love going there Doc is super funny and great with kids.

The doctor has some sort of superiority complex. Its hilarious to watch. So rude that its embarrassing.

This place is AWSOME! I am so glad that I took my son here for his first eye appointment! Dr. Tran is great; he knows how to get on a child's level and make them feel confrontable while getting their eyes checked. You can tell he loves what he do. I think I may change my Optometrist to him. And the girls that check you in up front are sweet hearts. There are so many different frames and brands to choose from; its like a mall of eye-ware. Go here, you will not me disappointed. This is a clean and refreshing place to make an eye appointment.

Man I love Epic Eye Care, the staff is very professional. Dr. Tran is honost and very helpful. I highly recommend Epic Eye Care.

Love Dr. Tran, he was nice and informative. The front desk staff was also very nice and helpful. I didn't give five stars because the glasses selection is so small and limited. There weren't many to choose from and most looked the same. They mostly sale designer glasses also. I would recommend

Service was ok but has anyone gotten a notice about them self quarantine from June the 23rd to June 30th that’s not 14days and there’s not a date to tell us if we r I danger if we were there between what dates?

First time here, its very neat and clean. Friendly staff as well. The new patient paperwork is done all electronically so no wasting paper. They take all kinds of insurance including Medicaid and Medicare. They do make your glasses in house with plenty of frames to choose from. Not too bad of a wait either.

Horrible staff rude! Very over priced! The lost yet another customer that’s for sure! Do not go to this eye place!

I’m 19 and this is hands down Best doctor I have ever been too. The staff are great they help you and the doctor knows what he is doing. They saved my eyes!

Clean, smell good location. The ladies in the front knows customer service. I am big on service! What I did not like is that Dr Tan was rushing moving really fast and how he said things made us feel uneasy, uncomfortable. It was very hard to not go off and keep my mouth shut but I did. I really wanted to walk out the office. My family will not be coming back. Doc basically called me fat. I mean I am but geesh again its how you say things. I didn't let it bother me (cause I just lost 14lbs) I am working on it! Praise God. But it you do not take the time to listen to the underlining cause of your clients rather than just blurting out stuff, you would do ok. We was reading off the charts and he would say WRONG like its a game show with no fun attached though and kept rushing for us to speed through. Picked out glasses then he suddenly changed his mind. Awful. Then say my son has a choice if he wants glasses or not, umm aren't you the specialist! A waste of our 2 hours there. As for how you say things, pay attention to yourself. Unless there is an underlying problem with you and certain people.hmmm. We didn't feel comfortable at all. At the end he just gives u a chart and said BYE, GO, smh wtfudgecake! I don't see what the praise in Dr Tan for smh.awful waste of time. Rushing, rude, hurry hurry all I really remember. Only gave 2 stars for the ladies in the front and how clean it was.

Take heed! Get a second opinion! They prescribed my daughter bifocals and she never needed them! They said my kids needed special film and they never needed it! The doctor over charges for the same thing Walmart has. Be careful!

First time visiting, Linda took care of all the necessary form. Made the welcoming so easy breezy. Dr Tran very cool dude, talks to you in terms you can understand. Chill and very relaxing atmosphere overall. I just found my new eye place. Thanks guys!

Never been to a better ophthalmologist. Dr. Tran is fun, quick-witted and fun! Service is fast, customer service from you arrive until you leave is top notch. They answered every question I have. I'd be disappointed if I ever had to go anywhere else!

Wait time was minimal, the office staff was courteous and attentive. The office waiting area and rooms were very clean and well maintained and the Doctor was exceptional with my pre-teen son during his first ever eye exam. We are so pleased with our experience all around!

I found this incredible place by chance when I scratched my eye while cutting and moving lots of huge rose bushes. I sat in the Baylor ER for 30 minutes in alot of pain. I couldn't open my eye, the only glimmer of relief I could get was to press my eyelid. It hurt so much and alot of water ran from my eye. My mother found Epic Eye Center, because it was close to Baylor and called to see if they could help and Dr. Tran said to come in immediately. Not only is the staff incredible, the other patients are just as kind. When I arrived, Dr. Tran was about to walk someone to the back for their appointment and sweetly asked the person if they minded if he put some numbing drops in my eye real fast and they were so caring and said to help me first. He dropped a few drops in my eye and made sure nothing was in the eye before finishing with the other patient. He looked more in depth at the scratch after to make sure it didn't need further action. He is awesome and I have been bringing my son there as well as myself for our eye care needs ever since. You can tell he cares for his patients and he is so good with my 9 year old Autistic son. We have Amerigroup insurance and they have a great selection of frames that are covered for my son.
I sing the praises of Dr. Tran to anyone who needs an optometrist, and that's EVERYONE!

The Doctor was verbally aggressive and rushed me during the appointment (which was my first visit.) He kept saying "hurry, hurry" during my exam I can only assume because it was almost 5 o'clock on a Friday and he wanted to get out of there. Which is annoying because they were the ones running 30 minutes behind. I'm sure Dr. Tran knows what he is doing, but overall my experience was poor. Won't be back.
