Fairmont Dallas

It was terrible. We didn’t even stay the night. Security harassed us ams followed us to the room. I will be making a formal complaint in the morning. We decided to leave not feeling safe When we left they followed us outside and called my wife a “bitch”. He used the word over and over. They spoke to us as if we were in the hood at some motel. This is inexcusable behavior for any work environment. Especially a hotel that supposedly is a 4 star hotel. I have video of the incident and will be posting it online tomorrow.

Hotel was excellent and the staff was amazing. Phillip at the concierge went above and beyond with helping us with what to do and made reservations for us at restaurants.hotel was clean and the rooms were great! First time staying at a Fairmont property and it did not disappoint at all!

Great experience, great staff, clean room, Starbucks located in the hotel. Mr. Philip Powell and De Angelo at the concierge desk were so helpful and kind, they were professionalism and hospitality at its finest!

It would have received 5 starts, but it was missing something which I will mention later.
If you are attending an event at American Airlines Center, this hotel is about half a mile away. It’s a nice walk, without having to walk through sketchy areas. You’ll walk by restaurants and a 7-Eleven, so you can stop for a break if you need one.

Rooms are a good size and were clean. If you need coffee, there’s a Starbucks at the hotel. The hours are limited, so don’t expect a Frappuccino at 5: 00 pm. There’s a bar and restaurant at the hotel. I had breakfast at the restaurant. It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t the worst.

This would have received 5 stars, but there was no self parking. Valet was prompt in getting my car, but I would rather self park than valet. The price for overnight parking using valet service was $34 + tax. Add a $2 tip to valet for getting your car, and it is close to half the price of the room.

I saw a gate to where cars are parked in the garage, and it looked like there used to self parking. Gates look newer than the building and it looks like there’s an escalator that was used for guests to go from garage to the lobby. Who knows why there isn’t self parking anymore. I couldn’t find overnight parking outside of the hotel, so valet was the only option.

It’s a good hotel for the location, staff, and cleanliness. But be prepared to pay extra for that overnight parking.

Staff and valet were friendly and attentive. We stayed in a suite, and you might expect a microwave or a refrigerator, but they have neither. The only sink in a suite is in the bathroom which seems odd. The toilet is like a public restroom toilet, and the shower head is old and extends out. They have great staff, but they need to invest in the actual rooms in my opinion.

Great hotel, even better service. Phil Powell from concierge is second to none. He’s attentive to every guest need and makes the hotel what it is. Wonderful stay.

Convenient location, amazing customer service, very nice accommodations. Large outdoor pool, nice consierge service. My only qualm is that the valet area gets a little crazy and could be better organized. Overall a great stay.

The Fairmount Hotel in Dallas, TX was one our favorite hotels to stay at while me and our friends were traveling through Dallas. It was conveniently located in downtown Dallas, the rooms were very comfortable and we all got a wonderful nights sleep. The beds were so nice! Also, they have secure parking and a Starbucks in side the hotel, which was great. We had a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back. Thanks!

Best hotel and friendliest staff in Dallas! Great if you have a pet, nice place to walk your dog, no breed or weight restrictions. My family will be back!

We were greeted with warm heartfelt hospitality, clean room, nice view and also received some free snacks. Lots of venues are in walking distance, we're planning on coming back soon, Fairmont will be our choice.

Best concierge you could ever expect. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely clean quiet rooms a great hotel. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

The Fairmont was lovely! We were in town for a concert nearby, so we were thankful it was in walking distance from our venue (and many other guests were walking back with us so we felt very safe). Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful, offered to answer questions immediately, and they kept us updated on the valet situation since they were really busy. We had a king room and it was very comfortable, exactly what we needed and honestly more than we expected!

Our stay was awesome - the employees were nice and helpful, and checking in was easy. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and we loved how organized and clean everything was.

Room was nice, only stayed over night. You have to pay around $30 for one night of parking which is something we aren't used to.

Beautiful downtown Dallas hotel that is great for events or a nice place to stay if you are in town for a few nights. Staff is friendly, prompt and informative. Valet parking is easily accessible and quick whether you are coming or going. The Fairmont is highly recommended!

I'm all about sustainability, but the lack of disposable cups is just gross. The shower took about 10 minutes to get hot water. Otherwise fine, probably not worth the price.

We recently spent the weekend at the Fairmont and I can honestly say that I was a wonderful stay. The hotel is beautiful, our room was tastefully decorated and very clean. Most importantly, the staff was exceptional. They attentive, warm and very accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was a pleasurable one. The service was very impressive. I will definitely be returning to the Fairmont.

Hotel was ok but the service at the restaurant was not acceptable.it was not busy and we set for 20 minutes before we were acknowledged by a server

The Fairmont went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. From valet, to bellhop, front desk, room service, concierge, dining staff, cleaning crews, and everyone in-between we were blown away with how incredibly friendly and professional everyone was. We were in town with our two young children and the hotel was more than accommodating and welcoming to them throughout our stay. We can't wait to come back!

No taxi or uber service. Not a great staff unpleasant and elitist. Not comfortable. Quasi-elitist, so worse than actual elitists. If they weren't so fake and trying so hard maybe they would only be a little bit disingenuous rather than the disingenuous people they are all of the time.
