FastMed Urgent Care, Lakeway TX

I used to like this place, but they have really gone downhill. The staff is no longer friendly and nice. I have been treated rudely on more than one occasion after coming there for 5 years. Wait times even with online check in are way too long and the staff is dismissive and down right rude about it. I hear, “ yeah, we’re really behind, like, an hour behind. ” when I inquire about it. No apology or even an acknowledgment of my inconvenience. When being taken to a room, the girl told my son and I to ‘go into room 3 and close the door. ’ Then we sat there for so long, I thought they had forgot about us. The staff seems put out that you are even there.

Terriable Terriable Terriable. They only have such good reviews because they are using a banned review gating strategy. Make an appointment, asked to come back later, wait for 1.5 hours on site, they forget to submit my perscription, then never give back my insurance card, it goes on.

I signed in online the evening before which cuts down on the myriad number of blocks on the paperwork. The front desk admin clerk was busy, but courteous. My medical tech was also courteous throughout the time I was there. She was also the Xray tech, which I liked because she knew exactly why I was there and didn't try to 'bend' my foot painfully for the xray. The Nurse Practitioner was also kind. She gave me results of the xray and answered my questions. They gave me a CD of the xrays to take for my followup with Ortho this week. Nice place to go, when you need to go to Urgent Care.

The absolute best care! I came in after three days of fighting allergies which turned into a sinus infection. I came here after I had a horrible visit with another doctors office that was trying to give me pain pills and nothing for allergies. I received a steroid shot and antibiotics and I couldn't have been more grateful for the care I received!

Fast Med in Lakeway has the most friendly and awesome Staff, from Front desk to Nurse and Doctors as well. Had 3 visits for a head injury within one week, with a different doctor each time. Everyone of them was extremely friendly, knowledgeable as well as absolutely beautiful. The rest of the staff was top notch as well. This will be my go to place for any future needs.

From the moment I walked in my experience was just plain bad. I wasn’t addressed by the front desk for about 15 mins. Once finally brought back very little vitals/questions asked pertaining to health and especially Covid-19. For something that was not an emergency I was told I needed to go to the ER immediately and the one I was directed to didn’t even have the correct doctor I supposedly needed. All around bad experience.

The staff and doctors were awesome. I came in with an anaphylactic reaction and they recognized it right away and get me right back to be seen. Great care, great service and very polite staff. Highly recommend.

The staff was extremely friendly and worked me in despite having a crazy schedule that day. Everyone seems to really enjoy their job, and I think that really makes a difference! I feel like I got great service, fast x-ray results, and accurate information! Thank you so much!

Came in with 3 children, one of which was a newborn, and FastMed, noticing that I had my hands full, went above and beyond to get our paperwork squared away and seen quickly. A+

We took our daughter there we were seen in about 10 mins only because we were new. Awesome staff and very professional!

I had an online appointment scheduled. They were running an hour late, only one nurse on a Saturday and I was given all of 3 minutes with no help, no recommendations, just rushed through because they were behind. Worthless waste of time.

I was very happy from start to finish. Although they told me there would be an hour wait, I was seen sooner. The physician took time to listen to all my concerns and allowed an X-ray for my satisfaction although she thought I didn’t need one. She treated me with injections for my severe pain and prescribed meds to help out. She was spot on as I’d say my pain went from an 8 to a 3 by the next day. Plus, I actually was able to sleep due to the pain reduction! Thank you so much! I would definitely refer people to this urgent care!

I came for a problem for which i been to FastMed several times. The online check in was easy, but I still waited quite a while to be seen. I was prescribed two medications, neither of which I had taken previously. One was $47.59 and it is available over the counter. Furthermore, had I been asked if I felt I needed it or wanted it, I would have declined. I was also prescribed an antibiotic. There were ten pills total for me to take one twice a day. I consulted information about the med. The first recommendation was to take one pill every six hours or take one every twelve hours for seven days depending on which exact variety it was. I am absolutely furious about this! Either way I was not prescribed as recommended and I was prescribed an expensive drug that is available over the counter which I do not need. The meds were not discussed with me. I failed to look at them before leaving the pharmacy.

Had an “opportunity” to be a patient, this morning, at the Lakeway, TX location. I made an appointment and checked in online as suggested. When I arrived there were several patients waiting to be seen (walk-in’s.) I waited five minutes, at the most. The staff was amazing. It was a very pleasant experience and I will definitely recommend this facility.

Pregnant front desk lady was the absolute sweetest and most helpful and the provider was also sweet and efficient. Will forever go to this urgent care above all others JUST BECAUSE OF THE STAFF

I was a walk-in on New Year's Eve for severe pain/rash. The registration/wait time with 4 people before me was about half an hour and the staff in front and doing the entry exam were friendly, efficient and professional. The attending PA was personable, answered all my concerns and very professional. Diagnosis was swift and I was quickly given a medical printout about the condition and my prescription was sent out electronically before I left.

I was grateful to the staff for making me feel comfortable and felt confident that I was in good hands the entire time. If it was necessary for me to seek urgent medical attention again, I would definitely return to FastMed and would have no hesitation in referring others to them.

I have gone here many times and every time received courteous, expert care. Fast diagnosis, treatment be it an injection or prescription! They are quick and easy to talk to. I never felt rushed and yet was out and home quickly. AMAZING

This was an overall great experience. The Dr was very friendly and there was no wait at all! I would recommend this place if you need quick care!

I was very sick and knew it. I stopped in and within 30 minutes I had my diagnosis.the flu. I was able to get my meds called in, pick them up and head home to start healing. This whole team of people at FastMed Lakeway are awesome!

I came here due to the high rating. I got here at 6: 45 PM and they told me they couldn't see my two year old daughter because they close at 8 pm and I didn't check in online which it says no where that I needed to do that. What a joke.
