Gulfgate Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, Houston TX

I found a car that I liked at a really good price at this dealership, I called them and had them agreed with me on holding the car for me. I lived 3 hrs away. This happened Friday. I was told that they don’t close deals on Saturdays and that I was to come to the dealership today Sunday, so I called just to let them know that I was gonna be on my way, it was at this time that I was told that the price on the car had changed. That they had made a mistake while quoting their advertised cars. The car that that I liked was advertised for $20,000.00 and the new price was $24,900.00. They refuse to honor the price given to me. We made an agreement and the are not honoring it.
I see now that this is the way that they do business and the way that they attract people. But it is all a scam. No one should go to this dealership.

I am doubly sure they are in the Business of Cheating & Fooling Customers, post speaking with their Pre Owned Sales Manager George Nabbout. In the website they had given an Ad which was still showing active that it is available Altima 2017,11K miles for $13K. Before landing up there I asked if the Stock was available and they actually said yes and allocated a Sales Person called Joey. Before I reached I got a call that the Sales Person now has been changed to Xavier. I was late and they called back again to confirm if I was reaching. I said I am sorry I need another 30 mins, she said its Ok. I reached to find he was busy with another customer and given another Sales Person to work. Fair ENough. WHen I said that I am looking for this specific Car n Stock. He said if its not in the lot then its in the Workshop. I was shocked as the ad says car is there for last 43 days. Then he said I will verify. After 15 mins he came apologizing that the car got sold on Saturday. Again funny part the dealership is closed on Saturdays. When I highlighted then he said, yes the car got sold on Friday and was delivered on Saturday. I was super upset with such misleading informations. I went to the Manager George and the Superb part, he said very honestly that they do these kind of things to attract customers. When I asked for his name, he said "why am I giving a look of "f*** off" type". I said very clearly I dont think I nor my body language meant that but it is his judgement which is wrong. Then he said "I have 4 College Degress & I can read people and looking at you I dont think you will die if you dont get the car today". Coming to Professionalism I would rate it worst. Being a Customer Centric Service he lacks "professionalism & courteousness". The reason I am saying at all time I was standing and he was sitting, nor even had the courtesy to stand up as there no chair for me to be offered. I doubt the car was ever for Sale at that Price. I am assured that there is no difference between a ROADSIDE ABCD type of dealers and this GULFGATE. I had gone to a dealer as I believe that they will not fake or hide things. But its seems their business model is, in giving wrong information & fool the customer, as acknowledged by the Manager. Think thrice before visiting them.

They called me 10 times to come and see the car 2 min before my arrival they call me and told me they sold the car 2 days ago. Poor management and coustomer service. I came all the way from woodland to see the car.
