Hana World Market reviews
31Lots and lots to choose from. Great variety and decent prices. Take your time and look at everything, if you can.
It has a lot of varieties that is hard to choose. They use Korean language.
The thing that I really dislike is the smell, I'm not sure if this is a tradition aroma, or they don't know it doesn't smell nice there!
My 4 years old daughter told me to leave the place because of the smell.
Please make sure you can get rid of the smell; once you do, you will have more customers.
Good alternative to Mai Than (Chinatown). Good selections too. We shop here as the place is less crowded, barely no waits at the registers.
Off to the side is their food court where stalls serve Korean dishes.
Finally found a good Asian market, near San Antonio. This place had everything we needed for our vegan diet, very good selection of veggies, spices, and tofu. Only thing missing were helpful employees. Time to make kimchi!
Great Korean (and some Asian other countries) market. The cucumber kimchi made at their "deli" counter is a MUST.
Good place to shop for Asian products and exotic fruit. We love the seasoned seaweed snacks. The staff is helpful and friendly.
Great little Asian market for those items you just can't find at HEB. Go during lunch and hit the cafe area for a good meal.
It was a great place for me and several guest from various countries compromising Asia, to visit and enjoy, a new unique experience for me, for them the overall expression was I never would have thought I would find cuz in America let alone Texas. Kind-a brings to mind the controversy Whole Foods is facing right now about. 1 May 18.
Fish cakes and carrots were in their Hana World dokbakki when it was not listed on the ingredients list. We don't eat animal products and my wife is allergic to fish. So if you have dietary restriction or allergies don't trust their in house made food.
Best Asian market in town. The staff is very helpful. If you can find an Asian product there I don't think you could find it somewhere else.
