Hauk Custom Pools, Celina TX

We have had so many issues with our pool, I would not recommend using Hauk. Let me give a brief example with our "upgraded" LED lights.

1) The fixtures were not properly installed when the pool plaster was done so the lights did not fit. The lights kept falling out of the wall fixture and were dangling by the wires.
2) When they tried to repair it they did not admit that they were incorrectly installed at the plaster stage and instead they tried to hide it by zip tying the wires very tight at the electrical panel. Electrical wiring should not be left under tension, it will cause it to short out and shorten the life of the equipment.
3) When we requested they come back and fix it correctly they found a solution with some special adapters that required screws. I asked if that was a permanent solution and if the screws were going to rust and stain our plaster. I was told it was a permanent solution and the screw would not rust (It rusted and it stained the plaster!)
4) The lights eventually failed entirely and we were told that it was a faulty product and would be replaced under warranty. New LED lights were placed. The new light fixtures fit nicely, but we did not even make it through one summer before the new LED lights failed as well.

There is not enough space for our other issues, but this exemplifies how frustrating it has been working with Hauk. I know construction is not a perfect science and problem solving is always going to be necessary, but when we are 3+ years into this and you're told the warranty is up and it's up to us to fix it, it's a little infuriating for what we paid to upgrade to LED lights.

Peter never sent a quote even after asking for it twice. Too bad we did not have Hauk as an option to choose from. What a waste of our time; disappointed to say the least.

Beautiful pool, really good team. I don't know what I would have done without Jeremy our project manager. Not only is he incredibly nice but was always on top of everything. He made sure all of our questions were answered, kept us up to date on all phases of construction and really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with our new pool.

Hauk Pools has been a pleasure to work with from day 1. Our project manager, Brian has been on top of every single detail. When I've called with any question or concern he almost always answers immediately. Those times that he doesn't answer right away, he will call within 15 minutes. Damon was able to create the kind of pool we were wanting on his first design drawing. We feel that when the pool is finished, we will have that backyard oasis that we envisioned. Peter Jackson of Hauk Custom Pools went out of his way to help us remove some unidentified stains from our pool. He arranged for A&B Pool Services to come have a look.
