Houston Water Customer Services reviews
37I called the Water Department this morning, entered my information, and pressed Zero to speak to customer service. No hold time. A lady called Phenaydra (wish I'd asked how to spell her name) came on and dealt with my problem with professionalism and cheerfulness. Thank you!
0 stars if I could.on hold for 57min and then it hangs up on me. Call back, it says number no longer working. Website, which I use EVERY MONTH, will not accept my username or password. So, I can't pay my bill without calling them! ARGGGHHH
Cherelle was extremely competent and professional. She quickly identified the problem and resolved the issue. Moreover, despite the fact that I called minutes before they closed, she was very kind and patient. The city of Houston is lucky to have this remarkable employee.
Worst ever! Who is in charge of the customer service department! On hold 1 hour and 40 mins! Without even talking to a a single person, then got hung up on while still on hold. And I wasn’t even calling for a account! Shame on you houston.
These reviews need to be sent to the appropriate person. Nothing is being done. And they are still rude.
My name is Deloren Allen thank you all so much for helping me out with my bill I always have good customer service you All keep it up good attitude I never be on hold a long time I thank God for showing me favorite everytime I call in and ask questions about my water bill thank you all so much may God continue to bless each one of you all I no sometimes people get attitude with you all just pray for them I love you all city of Houston utility company God bless you all
I was trying to submit my documents but lady who work in front so rude she didn’t even let me come in
No one willing to solve water bill problems on phone or responding on online and not willing to talk at Houston water customer service office.
Had to lengthily give all my personal information just to find out when big trash day was in my area, then got transferred to another number with another menu which hung up on me.
Extremely slow or no intention to resolve issues. Countless service requests were closed without specific reasons. The effectiveness of customer service function is really in doubt.
They are just crooked tried to find out what my deposit was gonna be and they raised the amount of it 3 different times if you can live somewhere where you don't have to deal with the city of Houston
I've been trying to pay my bill on the phone for 2 hours and the website will not let me create an account.
Continually Billing me for 27,000 Gallons ($500) a month. My Meter is completely different than their reading. This would be enough water to flood my neighborhood.
Customer Service takes ages to respond, and after speaking with them last month - they said this was taken care of. Lo and behold, my bill this month is for over $800.
Obviously NOT paying this and very glad I did not set up autopay like I do with my other utilities.
Horrible customer service. I called in to make arrangements for my bill, they were unsympathetic and uncaring. I felt rushed through the call and didn’t have all my questions answered.
A
The lady I spoke with was very nice but the city of Houston water sucks. I paid the bill by 1245 and my water still hasn't been turned back on. It is now 830 and I'm still waiting on the water which said it should be on by 445. Damn shame
The staff working there have no clue what they are doing. Good luck getting them on the phone. And then when you do they will tell you to go to places that have nothing to do with water. They told me to go to permit office to turn on water.why?
The security person working the front desk was the most helpful person there and seemed to know more about the place than the actual employees.
Tried calling, 3x day in row, got put on wait thru automated messages. Then the phone hung up on m everytime? Never heard anyone cant get any service
These service customers are so rude can't explain anything you have to tell them how to do there job shame on the city for not having good customer service too bad we can't get watee from another city smh
Customer service reps are appearantly trained to go straight in to telling you that you have done wrong. I am trying to get someone to actually listen. I have proof of billing issue and no one will listen. I'm speaking calmly and not cussing. Trying to explain my issue but getting absolutely no where.
Class action lawsuit, anyone? I just got my first bill with these clowns claiming that I used 16 THOUSAND GALLONS of water. I've never, ever seen a water bill for $300+. Then, can't even get in contact with them. Based on the reviews here, it looks like maybe litigation for fraud and theft is in order. Seriously.
