I have a history with J Gills and it remains one of my favorite places to go in Arlington. The bartenders and staff are good people. They have a great menu and great food. I recommend the Irish nachos first and foremost. Another great choice is the buffalo chicken sandwich.

Had lunch here with the kids yesterday. I had the chicken fried steak sandwich. It was excellent. The servers were super friendly and took care of whatever we needed. I can’t wait to go back and try out the rest of the menu.

Makes me so sad to say how awful this experience was. My family has been going here for years and even had 50th celebration parties. Our waitress was awful and super rude. We had to ask for a new waitress. Our favorite Irish nachos were cold and to top the whole night off there was a dead mouse under our table. Did not see the manager once the whole night. Did not get a comp on anything. So goodbye to Gilligans one of our favs for many years. Epic disappointment.

Always a fun Adult place to go. Smoking & non smoking rooms. Great long time owner & friendly staff. Live bands frequently. Has pool table. Block parties are Great!

Menu is diverse. The Chads Chicken Choice salad (ask for spinach) is good. The burgers are good. The Best Chest Chicken sandwich is good. The Irish Nachos are World famous. Randy is the hardest working man in the restaurant business.

Food wasn't good by any means. Sodas were flat and instead of our waitress getting ones from the dining room she continued to bring us the same flat drinks. Food was greasy as hell. I ordered a hamburger and it was so greasy the bun fell apart as I picked it back up. Will not be revisiting this place.

Environment was relaxed. Staff friendly and food was surprisingly good for what I was expecting. Would recommend to go before 10: 00 pm. The crowd increases greatly after those hours being it's close to UTA.
