I bought a trial from them for $90 because they said I would be refunded in 1 week if I didn’t want to keep the membership. I went back 1 week later and never received my money. And now my friend of mine got rid of her membership 5 months ago and has been getting charged still every month $30. We both went to the gym and called them several times but they still haven’t done anything about it. Don’t go to this gym if you plan on not going for the rest of your life. Terrible communication and horrible management. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This isn't your typical training gym, it is a level above in quality and mission. Jordan has a professional approach and is very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

This was a nice spot. The gym was clean and the welcome was nice. The machines are a little close, but that is fairly standard. The racquetball courts were nice and clean. There weren’t benches at each court which was odd. The water was well distributed throughout the gym.

Overall, nice place. I will be back.

This used to be my main gym. They used to have a really good yoga instructor at nights that’s about the only redeeming quality. The staff was careless and unfriendly last time I checked. I got my wallet stolen here and they hardly did anything or acted like it was a big deal. Whoever stole my wallet actually cut my lock off and put a new lock on then I had to wait until closing time for someone to cut the old lock off. Had to call the corporate office to get any sort of compensation for damages. The Gessner location is worth the drive. It is a lot nicer and the people working actually seem to care about their jobs and customers. This one needs new management and staff.

I love this location, I have a LA F and a 24hour in walking distance of my house but especially since Muscle Fuel opened up I drive out of my way even during prep to come to this location

Always friendly, but I would say since Muscle Fuel
Became part of this location it’s has gotten even better

They welcome each person, walk on the floor and talk to the members making them feel at home and welcome

My gym needs to be like my second home and this has become that!

My only complaint, needs full body mirrors in the restroom

Well! Big company and old equipment machines.
$35 monthly pay for each person, this company make a lot money, why they didn't start replacing the old equipment?
And the place need bright lights (is to dark).
This gym is close by to my work and house, so I don't have choice! ‍️
But! I like the people work there

Very ugly when you bring a day pass. As a member I wanted to bring someone else to see if they would sign on and workout with me. I used my free pass from my phone to let them try out a day's lift and was told by the front desk to go to the side where I was greeting by a very unprofessional sales rep. He told us all the weights are the same at all gyms and "asked what do you need to try out, it isn't anything different from other gyms? "

My guest felt humiliated and I am embarrassed I brought someone to that place. Needless to say, my guest no longer decided to purchase a membership.

At least 30% of users refuse to wear masks, especially in the small weight room where 6 foot rule is almost impossible. Equipment cleaning is half hearted. If the staff ask members to put on their mask said member just pulls it back off when the employee. At first the gym did a good job of policing mask wearing but have mostly given up because of the real danger of confrontation and rude people. Time to move back to the Y even if it is 3 miles further. Disappointed

Please I advise you stay away from this, first time and last time. I came because I wanted to try this gym out, turns out I couldn’t even try the gym out because they are only taking priority to their members. Only way I was able to get a workout was signing up for a membership. I work in retail and this to me looks like a way of selling memberships without a guest taking up their time. How am I supposed to like a gym if I can’t try it? I get a email with a guest pass after singing up for one online, why did the website not specified that i couldn’t try out the gym? Please stay away like the plague! Look for another gym, they charge 35 a month for really terrible service. If I could rate this place a 0 I would. Unprofessional level makes you wonder if they pay these reps any good.

I've been a patron of this gym for many years. Because of the current pandemic, I have decided to cancel my membership instead of freezing for a $10 fee a month for non-use. I called and asked to freeze last week. They told me to come in and talk to the manager which I did. I spoke to Mike, the manager of this location and asked to cancel my membership. He told me I would receive an email by 3pm that day that my membership was cancelled. I asked what if I didn't and he reassured me it would be cancelled. I called the next day because my membership was still active and spoke to the employee who witnessed the whole thing. She said she didn't know what happened but my membership was still active and that manager was gone for the day. It's been a week to the day I signed the form to cancel my membership and it still hasn't processed. I had to call my bank to stop payments. Be wary of this gym.

The smoothies and supps bar always delivers a great tasting smoothie. Ali is the best and he is very sincere and cares about his customers.
Don't leave after your workout until you stop by and get you a great taste smoothie and some good conversation.

Is always clean and also machine work perfect guests are very nice and respected, they clean the machine went they finished used and went they use the pool they wash them self and use the pool no like other places that I use to go thanks for everything.

For a nation wide gym it left me unsatisfied. No towel rack in sight. The guy at the desk was not paying any attention. He was watching old ufc fights I think. I went to 3 treadmills and all of them lerched forward and couldn’t hold a speed and are covered in rust. I’ll stick to my own LA Fitness. The manager here either needs to wake up or get out. Not coming back.

The equipment is old it’s crowded so you feel like people is to close. The gym is small but it’s the closes gym at my work.

It's a very good L. A.fitness to go to staff and trainers are friendly equipment isn't always broken and not very packed

Sales people here have misled twice. Luckily none of them cost me money. I recommend getting everything you expect in writing so you don’t have any trouble when the sales people are dishonest.

If anything breaks down it wont get fixed. Only go to the gym because its close.pretty clean though.

If you're looking for somewhere to get the job done on working out, you've got yourself a decent gym has just about every machine you'll need. (excluding neck training) if you're looking for a spa kinda treatment arrangement how most of these reviews seem to want to reflect id say sign up for the Houstonian it's right down the freeway and actually worth the money if u can cough it up.

Inexpensive, huge facility, wide variety of equipment, friendly/helpful staff, and optional childcare in mornings and evenings. This place is great and it's sad to have gone here for almost two years and then see these really dumb, inaccurate reviews. Yea they have a high turn-around on certain positions but you know what, its a small staff with a few crappy m/w positions but they in fact maintain at least 60% staff that have been there a long time. Any an all companies have high turn-arounds in their lesser positions. And yea, on occasion the bathrooms smell like pi** and sh**, usually after the older crowd goes in and sh**s and pi**es. Can you believe that. I bet these dumb reviewers houses' smell like pi** and sh** after they go and do such those things in their own bathrooms. Weird how that works huh! Yea, equipment breaks from time to time because regardless of crappy reviews this place gets busy and the machines get a LOT of use and like i've seen time and time again, the equipment guys always show up and fix them promptly. Look, for what it is this place is great and deserves better reviews and more stars. Mr. Colby, the Brandons training.the other trainers, Mr. Tyler up front, you guys are appreciated. Piss on these reviewers that don't like the smell of 'sweaty' people or 'bulky' equipment but still decide to go to a gym and complain like pus**es. Thank you all!
