I'm very surprised at how nice this location is considering it's location. It never gets overly crowded. Staff and other members are friendly.

I've been a member for a while. The gym is okay as far as gyms go. They need to update their equipment though. A lot of the equipment has rust on it. Some of treadmills and bikes don't work correctly. The staff is receptive at 6am, but when I go later in the day, not so much. I can live with no one saying hello, seems the way of the new age workers anyways, but the equipment problems really need to be addressed. 2-1/2 stars may be a more accurate rating.

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not join this gym unless you want to lose money or be treated with disrespect. Because this gym was convenient, I overlooked the equipment issues and overall disorderly and unclean setup in the beginning. I recently realized that I am still being charged for personal training (about$1000 worth) when my last session was almost 3 months ago! When I signed up, I WAS told that the billing would stop once the time period was up or that I would be notified, however the manager rudely insists that I am mistaken about what I heard and that the contract clearly states that I have to stop it on my own (and FYI, I KNOW WHAT I HEARD, I was scammed). I also had called 2 months prior to let them know that I am still being charged and that it needs to stop, but apparently you have to let a 'specific' person know, or it doesn't count! Bottom line, you will regret joining this gym. I definitely do.

Considering sheer volume of people that are here on a regular basis, this is a pretty good place. The facilities are kept clean for the most part, though at times there are too many machines upstairs that are down for maintenance.

WORST GYM! NEVER GO HERE! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, AND WHEN YOU SIGN UP FOR "PERSONAL TRAINING" IT'S A CRAZY AMOUNT OF 400 A MONTH AND THE TRAINER CANCELS ON YOU AND THEIR SOLUTION IS TO CHANGE TRAINERS, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER THEY JUST WANT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY!

The cleanest gym! Friendly staff LOVE the sweet brunette who runs front desk and kids club o.k. The mornings now! Staff is very helpful and attentive. My ONLY complaint its how slow their computers are. THIS IS 2017 UPGRADE

Tough for me to give anyone a two, but they deserve it. Not impressed with anything from the crap equipment to (a few) frowning faces from staff. Majority of staff is great but a few are rough.

Machines are new. However, my car got broken into while I was parked in the front of the building. I will never go to this LA Fitness location again!

Horrible. 3 LA Fitness staff guys walked right by me while I waited to renew at the front counter for 10-15 minutes because no one was there staffing the front desk. I walked out. These guys are a waste of space.

They scammed me. They were dishonest when I joined about the fees and charged me a ridiculous cancelation fee. I've never seen a gym that costs $200 for one month membership. Management was uncooperative when I approached the issue and was rude.

Complete lack of supervision, particularly during evening hours. Members carry weights around into saunas and swimming pools imposing safety risk on others. Machines are often out of order and not fixed.

It gets busy on weekdays from 5-7 pm. The washrooms could be cleaner but the location is convenient, has all of the standard equipment and is priced quite reasonably.

Worst LA fitness ive been too. Manager only cares about his sales. Friend had a guest pass and was wanting to charge him to go in the gym.sticking to the one on 290, cleaner and more equipment

I've been to multiple LA fitness' around Houston and this one desperately needs a new renovation. The pool and hot tub is disgusting. There are molds growing around the pool and the water has this weird odor. I don't even know if they can legally allow people in there. The workout machines are rusty, seems like they haven't been oiling them routinely.

Parking and crowd is an issue but you have a similar situation at most other gyms around peak hours.

Usually crowded during peak times, but facilities are always clean. Good variety of machines for everyone.
Parking is never an issue.

Friendly staff. The gym is usually packed and so is the parking lot. The equipment is old but it works and the membership is affordable so I don't mind much.
