LA Fitness, Houston TX

I have an LA Fitness 8 minutes closer to my house but I drive past that location (cypress) to come to this location.

The equipment is far nicer here. It is cleaner, more modern and has more variety. Each piece of cardio equipment has its own tv screen attached to and controlled by the piece of equipment it is attached to.

The pool area is much cleaner at this location and the manager of this club is far more efficient at running his club. Glad I found this spot

I never see nobody training there always it’s empty that area block a lot use machines I did before, the Gim was better with out updates with last machines.

The staff at this gym are rude and not helpful when you have questions or issues. They act as if you are bothering them. I signed up in Dallas, and added my son as a guest for two weeks but then we are here and they refuse to honor his pass because apparently they can’t see it. Instead of giving a one day exception they try to make me pay a 15 dollar fee. Terrible customer service. Go to an Anytime Fitness or some other gym.

Very unhappy with membership - they require you to send a letter to a post office box in order to cancel membership - it never gets cancelled so they charge you again and then when you call you have to go in to see a manager - CAN YOU SAY RIP OFF the customer?

Looks like they renovated it some time ago. All the machines are a bit close together but you can still get a good workout in. They added a huge personal training section which is kinda in the way of everything. Free weights are still like before. They did add all new treadmills and stair masters.

Well, there are roaches in the woman's sauna, I have been reporting this the stuff, I have been ignored.
I reported as well the scale in the woman's locker room, because it is not working. "Carolla" assistant manager gave me an attitude, she came across strong like if I was bothering her, and she didn't apologized. I told her I do not need need to be reporting these issues many times, I have been coming for 2 months to this location, they just keep ignoring me.

An abundance of equipment so it never seems too crowded. The receptionist was a little rude but almost always has a friendly face to greet you here.

I did enroll membership there, they keep charge on my acct without my permission although I did cancel it.

There is absolutely no room in the gym to do anything. The squat racks are always taken, they are always fairly busy and it feels so congested. There's no room to do anything without being 2 feet away from someone. The machines are so close together and the middle of the gym is dedicated to personal training which is never even used. Really not even worth the price. You'd be better off going to planet fitness or any other gym

Upset w the new layout, the new hours, the fact that there's never any dumbbells. That last one isn't the staff's fault but enforcing to return the weights might help. Looking for a new gym.

When I signed up I had full access to club. Now roughly 35% of floor space is off limits unless you purchase training. In addition their new equipment is sketchy as can be I'm scared to load anything past 275lbs on bench because it's shaking all over and looks like it's going to collapse. They got rid of a lot of good equipment. Basically if your looking to lift weights look elsewhere.

Great gym for the price range! The cardio equipment is brand new with TV screens and the gym is kept very clean. Unfortunately, they recently remodeled and removed a lot of space and machines to make room for a dedicated personal training space. The staff is friendly and the gym has everything I need to get a great workout!

This gym used to be good. But they took half of it for personal training plus it's too damn congested. I wish I could give a negative star for how bad this experience is. I'd rather drive the extra 10 min to the Eldridge LA gym

Truck was broken into Sunday between 3: 30 and 5: 20 PM. Break-ins occur frequently and the club has taken little to no action to improve security.

I hate their hours, every time I wanna go work out they're closed
I'm going to cancel my membership

Really impressed by the facilities and shout out to my trainer Stephen A. He motivates and makes working out enjoyable (plus his boxing classes are a lot of fun)!

My only complaint is they need more benches for the racquetball courts. I don't see why they have 5 courts and 3 benches.

Absolutely terrible. The gym equipment is torn up and run down, the personal trainers don't know what they are doing, and the staff has given me the cold shoulder on multiple occasions. There's also a high number of vehicle break-ins in their parking lot throughout the year.
