La Quinta Inn & Suites Houston Galleria Area

Front desk staff was not professional. The General Manager was even worse. I found two roaches and called to front desk to be offered another room. This was our last night and they couldn’t guarantee there were no roaches in another room. Clerk brought me Raid spray to my room for me to use. I was bit up by what I thought were bedbugs only to find out the room had fleas. The Manager and General Manager were not willing to refund my stay because I received my sisters’ employee discount. The carpet was dirty, my room was never cleaned during my 3 night stay. The microwave did not work, the TV half worked. This had to be the worst experience of my life. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE!

We were quite disappointed. The service was great and the people very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice lobby area but it is an older hotel and has many signs of age and wear that need updating and repair. There were also lots of examples of lack of cleaning throughout the hotel like stains in the carpet in the hallway and garbage on the stairs for several days. The breakfast was a bag breakfast which was also disappointing. It has an outdoor pool and hot tub, but the hot tub wasn't working and the gazebo was a bit run down. Lots of potential, but short on execution.

Location was perfect for us. The hotel was clean and quiet. Good customer service. Water was HOT! Just like I like it. Very impressed with the hotel staff.

Beautiful, but. They have a gorgeous pool and Hot Tub but they don't care to keep the temperature correct (hot pool) cool hot tub. They have good strong coffee but cheap powered creamer.nice landscape but unkempt. Great staff but no money for touching up the walls.etc.these are management and ownership issues.not staff.until your staff and let them fix these issues. This is not a cheap hotel.quit operating it like it is

Needs updating. There are cobwebs in the hallway. The hotel smells of oldness. The backdoor would not open from the outside. The beds are too small.

Had a wonderful nights here during my visit in Houston. Comfortable rooms, warm welcoming staffs, and perfect location. Just walk for a half mile and you'll find restaurants, shops and entertainments waiting for your visit.

Horrible! The elevator was wacky, the carpet in the room had a stickiness to it that can't be explained, the toilet sounded like it wanted to explode every time you flushed it. Just overall really awful. Will definitely NOT stay there again. I'll sleep in my car if I have to.

OLD Hotel, it looks nice on the outside but you can see it's age on the inside. I was put in a room with a "KING" size bed but it was only 66 inches wide & a king is supposed to be 76 inches wide

While their neighbor night guy next door had this BAD attitude I got fed up and went next door to get my patient into a room La Quinta gave me no problems whatsoever and the gentleman/woman that was there was just over the top courteous and helpful. Id DEFFINELY recommend La Quinta over their neighbor the Drury all day everyday. Thank you to the staff there. Attitudes makes a huge difference with me and my hard earned money as to where I'll spend it.

We were extremely satisfied. We were in Houston to visit Joel Olsteen’s church for the first time, a fantastic experience by the way. This hotel made our trip that much better. All of the staff we had the pleasure of encountering were helpful, prompt & polite. We liked the atmosphere, the breakfast and rested well. Thank you so much for making my family and 5 year old son’s first road trip memorable We will definitely spread the word and visit again.

Below average La Quinta. Rooms were not that nice. The walls had cracks, paint was chipping, it was expensive, and the desk agent was rude. Didn't give me the breakfast times or anything. Good location in the city though.

Great people here. The hotel is just that.a hotel. Nice, Rooms. Clean towels and blankets, everything you'd expect a hotel to have, but it was the staff that really made the experience unique and enjoyable.

Everyone that works the desk deserves a raise. We reserved a room at the same location when we checked out, even though there are closer hotels.

A bit dated but recent remodel is fine. Front desk personnel are friendly. And the breakfast is good.

This place is a health hazard:
- No working shower
- No cold water from the bathroom sink
- Mold from the vents
- Late night back door wide open

They will not change the room. LaQuinta should be ashamed of itself. This place should be closed. I took pictures and video of all of it.

I also did not get the room I reserved. I reserved a king bed with a fridge and a microwave, I got a lesser room with two double beds, but thats besides the point with the more troubling problems.

Air conditioning works great in room. Nice selection of free breakfast in the morning. Great rates too!

Personnel was prompt. Breakfast was very good. Location great. Clean but outdated. Bit expensive.

The lady that was cleaning the breakfast area was extremely rude when I was trying to get breakfast for my children.

Good and awesome hotel to stay in Texas for vacation. Near to ocean drive and good location. I recommend

The rooms are air conditioned and the staff are very great in their services with very nice customer services.

I was very happy with how clean the room was and the service was great also the room was cool when we entered it.
