This place is great. We signed up with Winn. It was just for myself but ended up signing the whole family up. The locker rooms are very nice. They have a little lounge area too. The steam room is good but I wish it didn't have so much eucalyptus. Plenty of showers and lockers. Great equipment. Never any problems. I love the swimming pool. I never use it but it's great for kids. The slides are great and beach style shore is a plus for little ones. Oh and an AMAZING cafe! Its delicious! I haven't used the spa but definitely planning on it!

I joined Lifetime 281 for a short amount of time. My initial experience was great. The guy who signed me up was very helpful although he was not prepared for our appointment. The club has a lot to offer. My experience following has not been as pleasant. It's very difficult to reach anyone regarding charges on your account. I signed up for personal training. I was unsure if I should do it for financial reasons and they reassured me that I could sign up and that if I decided not to do it they allow you to cancel within a few days and get a full refund. After crunching numbers I decided it wouldn't work for me and cancelled within the allotted few days. It took over a week to get in touch with the person who could refund me for the additional training. After a while, I decided to cancel my membership because I was not using it as much as I'd hoped I could. They explained the hold program where members can keep their membership and pay $15/month until they are ready to come back full time. I chose this option for the time being in case my work schedule would change. What they failed to inform me about was that they would charge a fee for making the change to my account. I found out when it showed up on my bank account statement. Also, they require a 30-day notice. I gave my notice on October 2nd. 30 days from that day would be October 31st; however, they still charged me a prorate through November 2nd. When I explained this to one of their associates over the phone his only explanation was, "I guess they consider a 30-day notice from October 2nd through November 2nd. " I explained that the verbiage is misleading. I've chosen to cancel my membership all together, mostly because of personal reasons. It's also frustrating because they cannot email you the documents to sign. They require you to cancel in person. While everyone at the club was friendly, and overall I enjoyed my time at this club, I do believe Lifetime needs to clean up a few things, as well as make sure their associates communicate everything better to avoid surprises and financial burdens for their members.

We have been members (charter) since the facility opened, and were told they would remain the same never go up. We can never get anyone to answer our questions and rates go up usually without notice. We can't use facilities due to parties, etc. Unless we go late in evening we can not use the whole facilities.

My wife attends mostly. I joined mostly for the water areas and racquetball. I've slacked off because I don't enjoy the boring hot tub without its blustering water fall that was soo-relaxing with white-water sounds. It's Hard-just sitting there when once you've experienced that waterfall. PLZZ-bring it back.

Good place
Membership is costly
Read contract and hopefully you don't accidentally get forced into a year long contract that is hard to get out of

Great facility that has everything you need. There is available equipment even during their busiest hour. Locker rooms have private changing area, wet sauna but not dry sauna. That's a let down as I have to go out to the pool area for that. The bathrooms are not kept very clean neither is the locker room floors. They are dirty and wet. I see some employees with the floor cleaning machine but they just use towels to wipe it. Not very sanitary as they are not using any cleaners.
