32Decided to finally give Lowe's my business and boy was that a mistake, Home Depot will continue to be my go to. I spent all day researching dishwashers, finally made a selection and purchased one from Lowe's online. It was within 2hrs of closing so I called ahead to make sure I could pick up the item this evening. The guy that answered the phone didn't make much sense so I had to keep repeating my question on if I could pick up the item and trying to understand what he was saying. Finally, he said yes but you have to check with appliance. Well I drive 25 min to the store and no one is there from appliance. A nice gentleman named Mike helped me, for he's the reason for the 1 star. Come to find out they had cancelled my order and didn't have the dishwasher in stock after all. I was super disappointed since I had called ahead of time and wasted my time driving to the store. I started looking at other options and then another guy comes up to "help" me but he was actually just trying to rush me out the store because they were closing soon. I would think with the circumstances they would be a little bit more accommodating, but no. He actually stayed in face until I left, reminding me they were closed in 5 min. I just expect so much more than this experience from a customer service perspective and would have assumed a better, not worst experience in Southlake. Sounds like some customer service training is needed and that they fix their systems to show actual qualities available for purchase.
Lowes in Southlake, a Very nice store. I went into the garden area. Lots of plants and flowers and some great help. Chad and another young man, didn't get his name, with long hair that knew about the plants. Awesome customer service from both of them, and in the rain! Thank you!
Orderly, well stocked and clean. Very accommodating staff and cash register a breeze. Cudos to all!
Got keys made, picked up supplies for a refinish project and got some samples for an upcoming painting project. Good prices and helpful people.
I went to research refrigerators. Four associates asked if I needed help. All very friendly. They had great stock and prices.
This is the 3rd time I have given this lowes a try. Never anyone around to help. Store was empty on a sunday afternoon so guess I am not the only one that feels this way. Went down the street to home depot and plenty of people to help me find what I needed.
They did a great job helping us get our new custom doors and arranging all the details (including city inspection) for the install.
This store is staffed with rude people who obviously don't like dealing with customers. From the "yeah, what do you want" surly response from a man in lighting to a woman at self-check who wouldn't call for assistance in hardware unless I told her the aisle number (apparent she 1) doesn't know her way around the store and 2) wouldn't read the aisle sign she could see better than I could,) this has been my experience for the past two days. So Home Depot, here I come.

The staff at this store are why amazon is doing so well. Waited 15 min to get help, no one ever showed. Simple question that even customer service couldn't tell me which isle something was on. Finally left. Customer service terrible.
Great DIY hardware and just about everything else you might need for repairs or upgrades to your home. Average garden section. Just a little pricier than Home Depot but the customer base is a little bit more well to do than the average customer /contractor base that Home Depot services. More for the everyday kind of people. Great place to shop. Sometimes they have items that thier competition doesn't have. They do have military discounts for those who qualify.
You can't find what you're looking for in the store you can order it online and they also have pick up in the store.

I had to return some item that we over bought for a project and they happily took them back. Seems no big of a deal, but it is no so everywhere as I have experienced in different parts of Texas.
And they are very nice regardless of that, so we like going there I we need some tools or materials.
Quick in, long wait out. Found a few things on clearance. Seasonal cleaned out much too early. Product selection left much to be desired. Some disparity in shelf tag labels & prices. Nobody cares.
I was looking for a door bell, and something that has never in my 30 +years of going to home improvement stores happened. An employee asked me if I need help and told me the exact location of the doorbells.best day ever. Lowes still smells funny tho.
Unable to find anyone to help sell and install a new exterior door. Wasted 45 minutes looking for someone who knew what they were doing.

Thankfully you can always find what you are looking for at Lowes as opposed the HD. Much friendlier sales associates as well.
Great access to this location no matter which way you are coming from. They always seem to have plenty of stock of what they should so I don't have to go somewhere else to finish my shopping. Staff always seem proficient on the registers.
Bought few toilets and when I went they delayed the delivery but they were kind give a 15% discount for the delay.
