Exceptionally poor customer service. I hate even having to go anywhere near this store as much as going to Walmart during nationwide strikes

I came to this location after verifying some items online. I have had some very bad experiences with other Loews locations. This location had everything that I requested online.

I ordered Pella windows through Lowes on October 7th. The proposed production timeline at the time of ordering was 21 days. I called back within the week to confirm the timeline, I was told it was still 21 days. The week the windows were to be delivered to the store I contacted the store to verify the day that I could pick them up. I was told there was a delay and the windows should be ready November 23rd. Pella said their production timeline has been delayed due to the workforce limitations of Covid 19. On November 23rd I called to verify the status of the windows in the store and I was informed they hadn’t come in and it would be an additional 2-3 more weeks. The At this point I spoke with an assistant manager, Janaya, to discuss a refund for the windows. I was told that this was no longer an option without a restocking fee because the windows had been built. Janaya told me that she would request their Pella representative reach out to me directly and she gave me a number to contact Pella. I never received a contact from the Pella representative and after calling the Pella customer service line I was told that they would not speak to me because I hadn’t ordered the windows, instead the windows are ordered by Lowes and they will not speak to a customer directly. Janaya also told me that Pella provided her a bill of lading that had all of my windows on it and they should be there middle of December. On December 15th I picked up the windows; however, I identified that two of the windows were missing. I was told that they would be on the next truck and either delivered that week or the following. One of the missing windows came in after Christmas, on or around December 29th. This window was cracked and the issue was forwarded to Lowes on January 3rd. According to Lowes the windows might be in by the end of February after speaking with Pella on 27 January, but of course that timeline is subject to change. I at this point canceled the remainder of the order and requested a refund. Janaya gave me a refund for the remaining windows. During this process the Lowes salesman, Lucas, continually called Pella and relayed the information to me, but the information was never accurate. Even the information that was relayed through Janaya was inaccurate from Pella. This makes the Lowes store look like a bunch of liars. There is another gentleman that works in the millworks department, Cole, he on several occasions promised to call me back or leave a note for Lucas and he never called me back and rarely left notes for Lucas. I spoke with another assistant manager in the millwork department on 24 January who said that Janaya and Lucas would be in the following day and he would have them contact me. I was never contacted by either person and Janaya informed me that Lucas had moved to a different store. Janaya seemed as though it was no loss at all for me to cancel the windows. There is a serious lack of customer service or ability to care about the customers and the business that Lowes conducts. I am so frustrated at this point with Lowes that I would drive an extra hour to find a different hardware store to avoid Lowes.

I went looking for something specific and found it easily. The store is well stocked with cleaning products and storage/organization items. The store promotes social distancing and masks and people working and shopping there are compliant. It's easy to check out with cashier or self check out. I also like that I can look on line for store merchandise availability before I go.

First off Lowes is notorious for rude and unhelpful employees so it was to be expected but the 2 ladies up front at this location obviously dont like there jobs.

In there alot. Need more lumber carts and regular baskets at the contractor entrance. Waste alot of time trying to find a cart.

I been to this Lowes location 3 times in 2 weeks, and no 3/4 EMT conduit in ten foot lengths.one of the most common sizes. Product all over in aisle pathways.
I used to prefer Lowes.

This Lowe's extremely sad. They have a lot very well meaning floor staff and checkout staff that is understaffed and poorly managed. The management team from assistant store managers to store managers to executive are just IMHO are just plain worthless! This particular store is in an area that has the highest real estate prices in San Antonio. It is very sad that the executive management doesn't understand how much money they are loosing. Don't bother going there, just a waste of time.

The worst customer service ever. You wait and wait for someone to help you, then when they do show up they know nothing about what your talking about. We had one girl just walk away for help and never came back. O and the return desk if you want to call it that is so unhelpful you wait until someone knows something. I finely decited to go to another lowes that's not close by for way better service. Sad really sad.

To be fair, my last raiting of 1 star has increased to 3. Had to grab spackle and paint samples. Looking like management improved some as I'm seeing the stocking and price problems improve. This store was a mess during my last visit. Looks like they've cleaned things up a bit. Employees appear happier and less stressed than last visit. But still, for the affluent area this store is located in there is still a lot more to do before my rating goes up.

1 star is too much. Took them 6 weeks! To deliver my oven. Then on delivery day - a day I had to take off of work to meet their restricted hours, they never showed. Not a phone call. Nothing. Spent over an hour just trying to reach someone - the few times anyone picked up, they redirected me to the automated menu. I finally just drove over. They said it was all resolved. I still have not received by oven.

Prices are better at Home Depot.but this Lowes is closer to my house so unfortunately it gets much more of my business. (location, location, location)
