I've been with MCCU for approximately 2 years now. And I used to tell people how great they are, but not any more. This company makes everything difficult. Simple things like depositing checks from your school take forever. If your a student STAY AWAY from mccu. You won't get your money in time for classes. Every time I travel back to Arizona my account gets locked, using my card on simple transactions. (Gas stations, coffee shops) Recently MCCU switched from Visa to Master Card. And you guessed it my Account got locked trying to activate the new card sent to me. Customer service is alway polite and they do there best to help. But ultimately there hands are tied. My best suggestion to anyone STUDENTS in particular is if you need your money in a reasonable amount of time. Use someone else. I'll be closing my account with MCCU in the near future. This is to much headache.

I've been a member for 13 years and now that they are moving from visa to mastercard, I tried numerous times to activate a new card. I am now locked out, the original card expires in a week, and I was given 3 different phone numbers to take care of this. I also was hung up on. It shouldn't be this hard. I'm surprised with the lack of help, and then be told to come into a branch in person. I'm 200 miles away and not going to do something that I could do online in a matter of minutes. Very disappointed.
UPDATE: They called and took care of me that same day! Reassurance that this would be taken care of while on the phone and it was. 5 STARS!

If you need to contact anyone by phone (as during Covid), then don't hold your breath. Always had great service going into the branch but the phone systems are horrible.

I came here to open a savings account and was rushed out of the building by the manager, That’s definitely not the way to treat new potential members. Thank you to the bank teller Tyra for being so helpful and kind during my visit here, because of Tyra’s kindness I will return.

Tyra is one of the best tellers I've ever had. She ALWAYS make sure she speaks to me. She has great customer service and always has a beautiful smile waiting for you. There's several employees at this location that needs to be let go but Tyra should be made Manager.

This credit union is only interested in taking your money. Even when they were made aware of banking errors and incorrect fees they refused to make any changes. Going back to capital one. I’d rather bury my money in a hole, it’s probably safer there than at MCCU.

Members Choice has been a fantastic financial institution for me. Everyone I've dealt with from Customer Service to Auto and Home loans has been great to work with and very helpful. I highly recommend MCCU.

Went around 10 in the morning (used my lunch hour) to take care of unauthorized charges and get a new debit card. I was told by the attendant that the manager would email me the form. It was 3 o’clock and no email, I had do then spend another 30 min calling in to get it emailed to me.

I saw the CEO of members choice, the grand opening was totally awesome, I won 8 dollars thanks members choice, great stance there today, great music and great band music.

I hope to come back again to meet the CEO of members choice.

Really bad service, title department have irresponsible people. Sylvia the worst employee in title department for Members Choice. We paid off several vehicles for our customers who traded in their cars to our dealership and several times we have to wait for our titles for months. Same when we have drafts and register cars we are waiting for months to get our money from this credit union. We do not accept anymore any approvals from Members Choice and reassign these customers with our responsible lenders that we work with. If you are dealership stay away from this credit union.

I have been doing business with the credit union since 1980s.recently I got a loan and my loan officer provided me the extra ordinary service he was able to save me money with his expertise and provided me with top notch service. Kudos to Mr. Harry Satia. Thank you so much.

The customer service hold time over the phone is always more than 16 minutes. There is no customer service contact available over the weekend after branch business hours. So if your card doesn't work for some reason, you're screwed until Monday unless you keep enough cash on you.

These guys offered relief for Hurricane Harvey victims from Credit Agency Reporting - then do not follow through and report to the credit bureaus even when they said they would not. Take your business elsewhere.

Me and my daughter open accounts here few days ago not knowing that this bank have the worst technology. Can’t down load app on iPhones and this bank knew to update it but haven’t. Why are the other top credit union in Houston up to date but not this bank? Hope my money will be safe here, I will keep Bank of America until this bank is up to par and their technology is up to date.

Update: this bank is having phone issues and they still haven’t updated their app for iOS 11, they just keep telling you it’s in testing or give it couple more weeks, don’t understand how all the other credit unions in Houston is up to date and not this bank. This bank is kinda scary to put your hard earn money into, looks like this bank needs a new CEO
