Mi Cocina, The Colony TX

Rodger and Cuba were fantastic! They took care of everything that we needed. We went for a special event of celebration and they blew it out of the water with service! Thank you Cuba and Rodger!

Eat here all the time. I am a consultant and use this particular location pretty often to meet with people. They don't seem to mind my longer than typical lunch meetings, always keeping my sweet tea glass full.

I stop by at this location for dinner was very impressed on the food, the waitress Ashley gave me an outstanding service well I was at this location. Her recommendation for my dinner choice was beyond satisfactory

I have been to a variety of Mi Cocina locations, but one thing especially stood out to me here: our waiter Rob. Rob was so attentive and courteous to everyone around him, his co-workers included. He cheerfully helped clean up a spill and made light of the situation with his attitude. Mi Cocina has a nice selection of Tex-mex food as always, but Rob was sincerely one of the most pleasant and fun waiters I have ever had. Someone promote this guy!

Was there with a huge group for a business meeting. Considering the circumstances they did a great job accomodating and the food was very good!

We stopped in today for lunch and a drink. I go to another location all the time which is always fabulous, however this experience was very disappointing. For the price you pay not even worth it. Staff was distracted by the soccer game which I understand to some point but the food was not up to par. Not sure what happened today.

I had the pollo con mole, which is a very popular dish in Mexico. It was excellent. The ambience and service were quite enjoyable.

The food was really good. Sarah was our server tonight and couldn't have had more energy and attentiveness. Always smiling. Mole sauce was great.

Sevice was slow and a little rude. Prices too high for what you get. Had heard great things but very let down.

Cheese dip was junk it was not a blend of cheeses like the description states. Chicken fajitas had no flavor it was like they put them on the hot iron freezen and didn't season. Steak fajitas were tough and the portion was enough to piss my chihuahua off. Corn tortillas were stuck together would not eat here again.

The food was excellent. The atmosphere nice, and liked the look of this "M". We do not live in this area, but were in the area for Nebraska Furniture Mart shopping. It was Sunday, we were the second customer in the door right at 11am. Huevos a la "M" were EGGcellent as was everything else we tried.

My only suggestion is that the opening manager needs to adjust the music volume from the night before. During the day or when it's more crowded, the music volume makes sense, but when it's fairly empty it was very loud. About 3 ticks down would have been perfect. So loud you had to talk at a high level to have a conversation fairly early in the day.

All in all, we loved it, and will be back when we are in the area again.

Different from other Mi Cocina. It has a good size of patio/outdoor relax/play area (not a playground). The place tend to get busy over weekend waiter/waitress can also get extremely busy and service level decreased some (understandable).

Still a great place to eat for the whole family.

Nice and cosy location. It was not busy when we attended. The service was good and we enjoyed our times here. We usually visit a different location, but came here since we were in the area. Much less busy and a good location if you want a quieter meal.

This is by far the worst MiCocina we have visited! The wait staff is too attentive to the point of obnoxious. Every 5 mins coming by asking if we needed something. Yes, how about you leaving us alone for a while. Just had drinks, left before ordering the meal.

Best Mambo Taxis in town. Love the Rico Salad. Always sit at a high top in the bar and service is always consistent.
