Mi Cocina, The Colony TX

Hostess was very nice and accommodating. Food was ok. Service was professional and quick, but seemed more interested in moving us along. We would have liked to have drink refills and talk a bit, but no refills were offered and honestly it just didn't feel that friendly. This was around 3: 30 in the afternoon.they were not that busy. I've been to other locations that were better.

Food was okay, standard Tex Mex fare. Service was slow but it was Friday evening. May try again.

The food was amazing and all of the staff were very friendly and on the ball. We will be going back for sure!

This place is amazing! Food is fantastic! Never had to wait for a table. Servers are super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. MAMBO TAXI is perfect!

What was becoming a favorite of ours was crushed tonight when the NBA finals came on TV. If I wanted a sports bar I would have went to one. The bartender ignored my request to change the TV back.
So sorry for their lack of customer service

It was good! Chips, salsa, guac. I had the sour cream chicken enchiladas, so yummy! I had a drink called "Dilemma" it was super good! So good I didn't get a picture! (LOL) The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was just because the waitress was not friendly or attentive. This was my first time there, so I'll go with maybe she was new or having an off day. Other than that; we really enjoyed it!

Good food, below average service. Hostess seemed flustered when we entered, was short and seemed disinterested in seating us. It could have been the end of a rush, but there wasn't a wait for our table.

Our waitress didn't seem to want to help us once we didn't order any alcohol. Luckily there were some others on the wait staff who stopped by to refill my wife's water and my tea.

We might go back, but it won't be anytime soon.

The Colony location. Horrible attention to guests, ignored when walking in, wait for server, wait to order, place order without writing it down, order comes out wrong, rude hostess, wrong to go order discovered once at ER for your kid.do yourself a favor and hit another mico or another Tex mex place that actually places value on customers who frequent the place. And this coming from a 20+ year Mico patron. Please.

I often eat at this location and love the decor. We went in about 330pm. It was very slow and a good time to eat. I had the sampler plat which was inexpensive and also allowed me to take a good portion home. Staff was hospitable and location is gorgeous. It is part of the Grandscape development.

Service was nice but no happy hour sucks considering the drinks tasted like they had no alcohol in them. Very pricey place and a dry atmosphere.

Friday night table for 3 walk-in was only 20mins. Server pleasant and attentive. Food was great and handmade mojito was great can use a lil more liquor but fresh and has fresh sugar cane. Large space and gear potion

First restaurant I have ever had issues with having a child in a bar area.

Met a group of friends who were at the restaurant, sat down at a table across from the bar and was told by a server we couldn’t have children in the bar. One minute later, was told by a manager the same thing, and my wife and child were forced out of the area while our friends were getting up to move from the bar area.

Went directly across the street to another restaurant, sat the same distance from a bar top with no issue.

Management needs to learn how customer service should be. No reason to be chased out while you work with others to comply with the request to move. Based on other poor reviews, I should have known.

They weren't able to make fajitas medium. Never heard of that. Apparently it's pre-made or something the waiter was trying to explain. Chicken was dry. The venue is nice, drinks weren't strong or worth it. Won't be back.

We went there today and our waiter winked at my wife. I asked him to show more respect, and he said, "I will try. " We left, and I felt that he has no remorse for how he treated our family. We will NEVER go back. -older male waiter, long gray hair, tall.
