Amazing store with helpful and knowledgeable employees. Went recently to purchase a new case when me and one of the employees struck up conversation about my pc. I told him what I had and about the case I was looking at, he informed me that that case even though advertised was sometimes tricky to fit a 120mm aio in and pointed me to a different case that I currently have and couldn’t be happier with. Without the help of one of the knowledgeable employees I likely would have bought something that I would be unhappy with. Thank you micro center!

Falsely sold me a "refurbished" HP Omen computer with a different (weaker) GPU than was in the description. The GPU, fans, and parts of the motherboard were also completely caked with dust. It was in the box when I bought it, so I of course didn't realize all of that until I got it home and started working on updates and drivers. I, perhaps foolishly, didn't expect to need to verify that a supposedly reputable company hadn't fleeced me.

Great place to go for computer parts. Amni is an especially great salesman.if you are in the market for a new setup go visit him and he'll put you on the right path.

Historically I've been happy with them, but no longer. I took my very damaged laptop in, a laptop I need for work, a laptop with a 2 year warranty. The damage to laptop was extensive. I had called Micro Center and explained my predicament before driving to Dallas. They said I could bring in the laptop and get a replacement. I drove from Austin to the Dallas store, glad to get the laptop replaced (which was basically smashed). They assessed and decided to send my laptop back to manufacturer instead of offering a replacement. They said it would take 2-4 weeks for it to be fixed! As I said, I need this laptop for work. No dice. Spoke to everyone in the chain of command and no one would offer a better solution. I paid $280 for warranty and this is the service I got. A few days later I tried calling several times to see if they would reconsider based on my need for laptop. The manager was/is never there and does not return my calls. I'm extremely disappointed as I work with large media files and adobe programs and cannot replace with a cheap laptop.
Update: GM called me and explained that they use a third party for warranties and are required to use manufacturer warranty first (they are doing this). He also said that the laptop will likely need replacement and this will happen in form of gift card. He assured that they will replace with same or better specs for the cost of broken laptop. Give me the best deal they can and he personally would do all he could to expedite the replacement. While its still disappointing, I understand why they made the decision they made.
Update: The manager, Chris Devine, lied. They took TWO WEEKS to send my laptop to Asus. I finally called Asus directly and was told they only received laptop last week. They also said they have made repeated attempts to contact Micro Center (C. D.never called them), and could not get a hold of anyone in regard to my laptop. I called Micro Center corporate office and a rep there said this is hands down the worst customer service experience she's heard of. She told me she would call me after investigating. She called back and said a service manager from the store would be in touch, I assumed that manager was going to try and fix the situation. No one called. I called him and he simply reiterated everything I already knew (Asus is fixing the laptop). No effort to expedite or resolve. No laptop for me. I told him what Asus had told me. He accused either/and me/Asus of lying. (Clearly Micro Center are transparent and ethical and professional, unlike me or Asus.)
Tomorrow will be THREE WEEKS and next week I'm leaving town for the holidays, which means this entire process will take no less than FIVE WEEKS. Who knows? Maybe they still won't have it back in January. Absolutely worst customer service experience of my life. If you shop there, don't expect your $280 warranty to mean squat.
Update: Over two months and still no laptop. What it comes down to: A retail company, that caters to tech folks, takes away the critical tool needed for a remote web manager to do their job. Does not return critical tool. I still haven't gotten my laptop. This proves Micro Center has no professional insight to their customer base. Is not trying to serve that base. I bought a warranty to cover my bases and expected just that. Never again will I buy from these lazy, incompetent fools. I'd recommend you don't either.

A great computer store that not only sells laptop, desktop and tablets but all the gizmos and attachments one might need! Amazingly knowledgeable sales people who genuinely want to help - often not enough of them on the floor but worth the wait cuz they WILL help you!

I always have positive experience with micro center especially warranty.i did couple warranty repairs there and they're excellent. Of course, my laptops were under warranty so they did a manufacture warranty which didn't cost me anything. All you need is to wait for (1-2 weeks) - not a big problem for me. Communications were great, tech called me back and fort to discuss about the issue and tell me exact time when to pick it up. Highly recommended.

Computer quit working so figured it was the power supply. Ran in and talked to Andrew Alanis and told him the computer I had and he recommended an upgrade from 500W to 650W. Also told him I needed to upgrade to a 5G AC card. He showed me where everything was at. I bought it. Installed it. No compatibility issues. Computer Works great now. Thanks!

It's a bit pricier than a place like Frys but they have everything I need for liquid cooling my computers. More a place to go to get specialized gear than anything else.

Best deals! Great inventory. It's like a Best Buy went to the gym and lost a bunch of useless weight and then ate a Radio Shack.

Used Micro Center for my first build after doing quite a bit of research. They are known to have the best CPU prices. I had great help as well.

First time shopping here. It was a great experience! The staff was great. The prices were some best in town! The aisles were a little narrow to be walking down with a cart, but other than that it is a great store. This will be my go to store for my all my computer parts in the future.

Love this store a LOT more than Fry's Electronics by a long shot. A lot of great deals, clean, enjoyable, employees are always fun to interact with and helpful. Their coupons can't be beat. It's a shame this is the sole location in Dallas and wish more were stablished in the DFW area.

This place is clean, organized, and has a really good diy section. Lots of Adafruit, Piromi, Element 14, and other stuff. People are good and very helpful.

Went in looking for new GPU. Wasn’t sure what I wanted, but knew my budget so I spoke with one of the guys over in the “build your own pc” area and told him what I was looking for. He gave me a range of options and explained the benefits to each and helped me settle on a new graphics card in less than 5 minutes of being in the store. I’m stoked with my purchase and will be back very soon for more upgrades!

Went there looking for answers about an item. I found out more by looking online than the salesperson knew.

Go anywhere but Microcenter to have your computer repaired. This company is overpriced, slow and incompetent. Never once did I talk to a satisfied customer after making 5 trips to the store. I was told to get on YouTube to learn how to restore data. Thanks for the advice.
