Amazing food! Some entrees cater towards an Americanized taste and a bit of Chinese style “essence”. Someone mentioned he wouldn’t recommend the place if you’re looking for an authentic Asian place. But great food is simply great food. I’ve been to many asian restaurants in the area: from uchi, kome, tomosushi to Asia cafe, Dinho, hoho, triple A to Korea house, odaku sushi, Hana world, so I know authentic Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Out of them all Id still say Mikado is a gem. Id recommend mikado, authentic Japanese or not, for the mikado experience. I truly can’t speak enough about the quality and flavor of the dishes.the owner, Mark, has a strong passion and commitment to this place. I believe an owner who’s literally always there makes a huge difference. Definitely recommend this place
Food and service are both fantastic. Mark, the owner is not only charming but the consummate host. My first time will definitely not be my last! Check out happy hour all day on Sunday. Draft 24oz Asian beer selection for only $7.
