Neighborhood Medical Center. Martin G. McElya, DO reviews
33Went here to get tested for Covid-19 and my physician, Paige Letcher, was just the best. Very quick and very thorough. Would recommend
I could not be more pleased with the staff, attending physician, and OUTSTANDING NURSES! These ladies and gents went above and beyond while I was there. I was in excruciating pain, and they did everything within their resources to alleviate that. Not to mention the personable, courteous, and respect they showed me as a patient. I’m not sure what they are paid, but they all need more, just because of what they do behind the scenes going above and beyond.
The neighborhood medical center is a great place to get medical help. They are very professional, courteous, & thorough. You are promptly served. You are informed of everything that is going on. They make your visit as pleasant as possible. I would not hesitate to go there.
Went for a check up.staff was great and the physician who assisted me (Ms. Paige) was attentive and kind. I would highly recommend!
I had an appointment at noon, they told me to be there at 11: 30. I arrived at 11: 15. At 12: 15, they called back the patient next to me who's appointment was at 1. We were both there for the exact same exam for australian visas. I work in the health field and when we run late, we at least let the pt know. Thankfully my 1 year old who was with me waited patiently too. We got called back at 12: 52.
A co-worker got tested positive for covid and we all had to get tested. I was allowed to go during my work hours and was in and out in about 45 minutes. Great and friendly service. I hope I don't have yo come back, but if I need to get tested again. I know where to go.
I had a great experience here! Dr. McElya is so kind and caring. All of the staff, nurses, and the physicians assistant are so caring and professional. I have been looking for a primary physician for a while now and I can safely say I have finally found the one! They make you feel very relaxed and comfortable. They take walk ins as well! Even as a first-time patient, I didn’t have a long wait to see the doctor at all. Love this place!
Great visit. Anais was beyond helpful and super sweet. She went the extra mile to make sure i have my forms in time. Dr. Martin is great, knowledgeable and super nice. Wait time is great too, overthought there were 5 people waiting i was called to the back fast and the whole process took a short period of time. Thank you for great service
I have been trying to reach the office for some days now to book an appointment for a medical exam for immigration purposes and also wanted to know like what are the charges for the same? But everytime i call i am put on hold and then no one responds back. If someone from the office can let me know the charges for the same, would appreciate that.
Call three times before I drove here and they say they will do the service and when I was there and they do not know about insurance stuff very poor and uneducated front staff who just want to make sure waste your time and they will send you big bill in the mail.not coming here for sure.people go to Dr for cure and they only do business.no more ethic or integrity.poor service.
I have had equally good and bad experience with this location. My opinion is that the doctors at the back do a pretty good job, but the front desk at the entrance is not always professional or courteous. I feel, it mostly depends on who is working the shift.
Call three times for cover services and they do not know about anything very uneducated staff with no information and they will tell you sorry so you do not feel bad and they will make sure they will waste your time.very disappointed after driving for one hour.
They make you wait for a while. In my case 45+ minutes from my appointment time. Doc and his staff are friendly.
I love the doctors here. They are very caring, patient and attentive. Mr Mcelya is my PCP for more than 15 years. Even though I live 25 miles away from the place, I chose Neighborhood Medical center as my primary care. I also love the fact that i can walk-in in the weekends. Quality of Service is very high including nurses and staff. I highly recommend Neighborhood medical center and Mr McElya.
Showed up for a scheduled appointment. 90 minutes ago.still sitting here in the waiting room being coughed on by sick people. Not impressed.
If you would like to go wait 2 hours for a scheduled appointment go ahead. Also good luck getting the “nurses station” to call you back, they won’t. Go somewhere else.
Visited to get a wart removed. Doctor came in and informed me that they were out of the Liquid nitrogen required to remove it. Still got charged for 300$ for that consultation even though there was no services rendered. Front desk would not budge when I explained the situation in regard to my bill. Absolutely ridiculous.
Very courteous staff and I was able to be seen without an appointment. And compared to everywhere else, the cost for their services are very affordable. I will most certainly be recommending NMC to anyone in need of the medical exam.
I really like McElya but his front office staff and customer service needs work. They could never seem get my appointment right or my insurance info. The last appointment that I made, they wanted to schedule me with a PA after I'd clearly asked to see a doctor.
Dr Martin is awesome but his nurse practioner is horrible. She doesnt listen to anything and even thought she was gonna prescribe me with meds just for the hell of it. Ive never had a bad experience until now
