NTB-National Tire & Battery, Houston TX

Had an appointment booked online and I was informed at the shop they cannot do it. Their reservation system is a joke and don't honor it. Went to Discount tire a mile away and they took care of me. Never using NTB anymore.

I went to get one tire (there was a nail inside the treads) and wanted to get a Continental SportContact. I initially went to another NTB location since their tire was advertised for cheaper (although this ended up being a website error, but at they were honoring the price). Since they were out of stock, they redirected me to this Katy Fwy location.

They couldn't match the other NTB's price, but after one of the employees talked to like three levels of management, they were nice enough to cut down the price of the tire.

Things start to turn a little sour since I was told as it was only 1 tire, it would take about 30 minutes. Unfortunately I ended up waiting almost 2 hours.

I think in retrospect I should've ordered the tire online and went to the first NTB location. Their labor rates and other charges are slightly cheaper, as is the exact same hazard warranty. They charge about $14 for the warranty while Katy Fwy charged me $22. I'm a bit of a penny pincher, so I kind of regret not ordering the tire online, waiting for next day delivery and just sticking to the other location.

My car was driveable despite the punctured tire and I probably could have waited till tomorrow, but I guess it's on me for pulling the trigger on the purchase.

Otherwise, tire was done, and I went on my way. Thanks guys for the service and price match, but I felt like I waited longer and paid a little more than I had to.

Pulled up to NTB at 5 with a completely flat tire and was told.they weren't selling anymore tires today they close at 7 and had 1 car in the stall.pulled up to discount at 5: 20 they close at 6 not only did they changed my tire they changed all 4 and had cars in the parking lot.

Two hours for an oil change with just one other customer. Also tried to scam me out $600 for rear brakes. Avoid this place!

They lost my appointment so I had to wait even longer. NTB typically does a free tire rotation with oil changes when you place them online but that didn't happen. I came in with my tire pressure light on and asked the cashier to check for a nail and they did not. Instead they just inflated it so now I'm at a different tire shop getting it done. Not impressed.

FAST FORWARD now it's time for another oil change and I found out that they over tourqed the bolt that keeps my engine oil in. Great

Giving 5 out of 5 stars and an amazing shout out to Ezekiel in the stop! I’m currently 7 months pregnant and it is so difficult for me to bend down. My tire pressure was low on all four tires. He immediately placed air into them and talked to me the entire time. His quickness on assisting me made me feel at ease, and because of his help I felt safer going home. Thank you Ezekiel for your excellent customer service!

Incredibly disappointed is an understatement. Went to this location yesterday after work when I noticed my tire was basically flat. I was told that the tire was completely fine, no issue at all, that they even submerged it in water to try and find a leak and there was nothing wrong with it. I asked how that was even possible when my tire was flat and was told that they know what they are doing and did their job and checked and nothing was wrong with the tire but a different tire had a nail in it that needed a patch (aka just give me your money). I went to leave for work this morning and you guessed it, my tire is flat again. Went to a different company to get it repaired and was told there was a huge hole and they weren't sure how they could have possibly missed it. If you want to feel belittled and have to end up going some place else anyway then NTB is definitely the place for you!

They first seemed as if they didn't want to look at my car because they were busy and short staffed, then lied and blamed it on my warranty company not approving the ticket, which they never put in to begin with! They took over 10 hours to do a 1 hour diagnostic, and never called me back to let me know the progress.

I've brought many cars to this location for the past 5 years and I always feel taken care of at this NTB. Lorenzo is great to work with. Many quick fixes and checks were done at little to no cost to me and my cars have never had issues after servicing here.

The staff at this location is phenomenal. They are so friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to be accommodating to their customers! I went to the location on Kirkwood, initially, on a day that I desperately needed an oil change and was turned away TWO HOURS BEFORE CLOSING TIME by William Weeks. I work two jobs so I don’t have a lot of time to do things that need to get taken care of on my days off. I’m so lucky to have been sent away because the wait time and friendliness I found at i10@Wilcrest NTB was superbly impressive. They really caught the ball and ran with it! GREAT JOB.

Absolute crooks. 10/10 will hustle you. Very Slow. 2 hours for 1 tire change. Also the 3rd time I’ve been notified that I’ve “needed” new brakes and Rotors by NTB. My quote has gone from $400 all the way to over $1000 now. Got it professionally checked out by another company and my brakes and rotors are fine. The other company also estimated me $175 for everything when I did need to come in and change them. Don’t use NTB. Save your money and go to Discount Tire.

They are the slowest tire shop they have. I came in for some route my tire and Balance 2 hour and 30 minutes

Called the day before about 1 tire. They gave me the price I said I was going to pick it up the next day. Day comes I’m waiting for about an hour for them to say that it’s cash only! Not that they’re card reader is down but that if it’s just a tire no installation then they only accept cash. I don’t carry cash like more people now why didn’t they mention it when I called and said I was just picking it up! Drove done the street to discount tire picked it up within 10 min.

Incredibly fast and friendly service. Replaced my dead battery in 20 mins and was flexible even though I was a walk-in

I use NTB for all of my tire and alignments. My car, my wife's car, my father in laws car, my hobby car and my work truck.

Went in August to get my car serviced. Requested a duplicate copy of my receipt from a different location, no record of the services. Last document shown in their system was February. Even reached out to corporate just in case they were having systen issues.not helpful at all! Basically made me out to look like a liar. Never again!

NTB staff member are extremely helpful, very honest, kind, professional, informative, respectful and do good job.
All the time me and my familyhad always wonderful experienced.
Today I went and Austin did excellent job.
I highly recommend to my friends and family.
I give them 100 stars.

My sister told me to come here to get my tires looked at after multiple frustrating experiences at my local tire dealership. I was delighted by the ease of getting an appointment, the friendliness of the workers, and the efficiency that they got my tire fixed and me back on the road. I am so thankful to have had such a wonderful experience! I will definitely be back.

The NTB staff members at this location are welcoming, honest and accommodating. I'm always greeted with a smile by the sales members such as Ryan P and the manager, Austin is always on his feet and working along his team.
Great service, great people. 10/10 recommend!

Guys here are not trying to take advantage. I will trust them when I need tires in the near future.
