Food was good but the place is extremely loud and very hard to enjoy a family get together there since you cant hear each other

6 shooter and golden French toast. The wait was 45 minutes but it was all worth it. The service was great, Laura was amazing with making sure we didn't need anything. The prices are unbeatable and we will definitely be back. Loved it!

Great staff, always topping off your drinks and ready to serve. After placing our order, our waiter was very diligent in keeping up with the status of the food. Great coffee!

Outstanding service and food. Our server Monica took her time with our party. She checked on us several times. I spoke with the manager about this place and not only he listened, he cared about what we had to say. When I visit Texas again, I’ll come back to this place.

Always totally satisfied the service the food no complaints I will always recommend Oldwest Cafe and definitely be a loyal customer keep up the great work.

My review for four stars is based on my experience and needs. As a vegan I went to accompany my sister for brunch, who is Paleo. It was packed but there was seating in the back. Which is a plus. The only thing I was able to eat was a breakfast burrito which I sub eggs for hashbrowns (they charged extra for this which sucks) and added some veggies. It was good but a lot more grease than I would like. I would really like to give it only three stars because as I am a vegan there was not a good amount of options. And it wasn't super welcoming. I of course would not return unless necessary to join another party going. I wish the burrito was so super delicious I craved it to return for only that but it was only ok for $5. I'm thankful i was able to eat a lil something. However, because the assistant manager was very helpful and mindful of my diet and ensured the waiter was aware of my diet restrictions, it was comforting to know I can order easily, I am giving an extra star. Which I really appreciate. I did speak to the assistant manager before we were even seated. The restrooms were clean enough. The floor everywhere was a bit sticky but I guess that is to be expected in the high traffic place. My sister and others in our party seemed to enjoy their food. My sister ate typical american breakfast minus pancakes. The other had pancakes which were large and looked delicious.if only they were vegan. I heard my brother likes this place, as well as my husbands coworker.

We’ve frequented this spot a few times and we always love it! Great food and exceptional service. Oscar did a great job and deserves a shout!

Very tasty. Had the Ranch Hand, reasonably priced. I've seen their pancakes and french toast, pretty good size. Much bigger than I hope. I will have to come here again.

Service was good, food was good but it is hot in there. We asked about the A/C and they said it was on but since it was busy, that's why it was hot. How can you eat comfort food being uncomfortable? We're regulars at the South Arlington location but I doubt we will be returning to this location. It was so hot we took our food to go.

Nice little cafe with friendly staff and good food at decent prices. Had the chicken fried steak, which had a really good and crispy breading on the outside and a delicious well seasoned steak on the inside. The friend okra were ok, good, but nothing amazing. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade and were very good. Saw some people eating breakfast and it look pretty amazing. They're only open through lunch, so no dinner menu. Additionally, if you're easily offended by religion, the decor may not be your thing.

Was there last Sunday. Server brought out bread that was not toasted and walked away. Eggs i ordered were somewhat cold. Server was not attentive, I tried to get her attention but she just walked away. Disappointed by poor service. I came to this place because ratings were high and reviews positive. Left disappointed. Will not be back and do not recommend.

The food and service were very good. The place we'r eyes sitting, however, was very hot. We were sweating. We will likely be back again though once it cools down a little.

Food was great, service amazing. Only complaint is that the tables aren't big enough for the giant plates of food!

Bacon was overcooked, hash browns were very undercooked so we asked for some that were cooked through and we were brought this pile of deep fried junk. After sending the hash browns back our server avoided us until time for the check. The biscuits with gravy were doughy, french toast was burnt. First time we've had a problem here, and it was very disappointing. I will still give them a second chance, just know that if you send anything back they're going to take it to the extreme.

The Bronco. I ordered their Lemon Blueberry Pancake with regular syrup, Oscar kindly offered it warmed up, I got their fruit as a side. Perfect combo for me that day. Great customer service by Oscar.
The table included a little syrup when we arrived and the restrooms smelled strongly of Mildew. It has its pluses and minuses.

From our 1st visit it has been wonderful. Love the breakfast menu. Decorated very nicely with old west memorabilia.

Best breakfast in DFW! Chicken fried ribeye with sausage gravy was out of this world. Cranberry orange pancakes rocked too.

95% Great! On a Mother’s Day take out order some items we’re wrong or missing. The waitress apologized, next time we went in they comped the most expensive meal & explained what happened. Favorite breakfast place!
