On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, DeSoto TX

I believe this location is still operating at less than 100%. Prepare for a long wait time. Other than that dinner was great! Odyssey was out waiter and he was fantastic! Kept our drinks filled and checked in on us regularly.other tables around us were struggling with the wait staff but we had zero issues. My food was fresh and amazing.we will return!

Service was poor, food was cold, beer was warm due to being left at the bar for a lengthy amount of time. Waitress was very unprofessional and acted she was put out by serving our large party.

How is there a wait to be seated when the place is empty? Not only that the food was lukewarm at best. And no flavor. I won't be going back

The food was hott and tasty, our waitresses very attentive to our needs. My wife had a mango margarita and as you can see she was feeling it. Lol

Had us wait a whole hour only to be called up to the hostess to tell us that they were closing and that we had to leave. Time is precious to us all, they could have told us sooner.

Extremely poor service at this particular restaurant! But they do have good happy hour but be ready to wait 20 mins between each drink. My husband and I came here twice and had the same problem! STEP UP YOUR SERVICE

Customer service was mediocre. Staff engaged more in personal conversations verses assisting customers. I've had better service in the past but the last two bar visits have been disappointing.

Always enjoy coming to this place its the best tex mex I really enjoy the waitress the host and the cools were exceptional in the atmosphere was so right nice for family or romantic groove either way we were satisfied

Me and my girlfriend really enjoy it here especially since they got the new host girl Christian she makes you feel welcomed the moment you come in but today they had a guy he seemed frustrated and the experience was not so great

It was a Sunday night and was seated. It took about 10 minutes for our drinks to finally arrive. Waitress then told us that she just had a big party come in and to bare with her because she was having to juggle us with the party. Wasn't that big of a deal to me. Then when our food arrived we were shorted one taco. Manager paid for that one meal.

We loved kerristan she is amazing the staff told us she was not feeling well but we couldn’t tell we even asked for her number for the next time we come.

I'm not sure why I keep seeing bad reviews for this location. I always have wonderful food, service, and conversation. Tonight I was given exceptional service by Victoria and thoroughly entertained by Adam (ask about his secret menu lol). I love this place!

Very laid back place. Need new management all the wat around.its loosing its spark.food was cold. Noone knew the menu. Just all around blahhhh.till our server was switched.awesome girl.

If I could rate a zero I would walked in and the host didn't really seem interested in helping. So we sat at the bar since we were told that it was open seating. Nobody greeted or came to our table. And then as we walked out after not getting service the host was just standing around joking around with a server and neither spoke as we walked passed. Will never return to this location

Food was really good. Waiting staff was good but sometimes got inappropriately loud and disturbing by where we were sitting. Otherwise I will recommend to anyone passing through.

I'm not a texmex expert, but I loved the endless enchiladas. The manager we awesome and provided the best customer experience. Both she and the staff made my evening and I will be attending again.

Always good, always fresh! Staff is friendly and efficient! If you do takeout and pay with your amex, be prepared for a fraud alert.this goes for any On the Border Restaraunt.

Services real bad we were seated with no menus 15 minutes went by and we just got chips talk to the manager and told her how bad the Service was she didn't have anything to say this is the one on 35 and Pleasant Run in DeSoto

First of all the food is always fantastic! But the the service like the hostess and the managers are very unprofessional; some of the waiters and waitresses are always nice and courteous. Only reason why I’m given this one star is because of the hostess and the managers they need new managers ASAP! That’s starting to make me and my family go else where!

It was terrible. The service was horrible. Had to get up and go find the waitress to get our ticket. I asked if our food would be cold by the time we got it. She answered no, they are bringing it out now, but the answer SHOULD have been yes as a matter of fact it will be-when we get around to bringing it to you. Restaurant was NOT busy, 4-6 other tables of 2, maybe.
