I highly recommend this place! Everyone in office goes over and beyond to make sure all your needs are met and that you are happy! They will make sure to find you the perfect home and won’t settle for less!

The community it self is quite but everyone is friendly, and i always feel safe! The views are just breathtaking and shopping is only a 5/10 minute drive, so it’s just perfect! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Love that this place has more of a family neighborhood vibe rather than apartment complex feel. The view from my place is beautiful! Watching the sunset from my bedroom is amazing.

My experience touring this place was great. The staff was very informative, friendly, and organized and the prices for what was being offered was very enticing. The property was clean and quiet, and the apt I viewed was very nice. I ended up not leasing here since I found a floorplan that fit my needs better but it was a tough decision between Overlook and the apt I chose.

If you want any repairs done you will have to wait weeks. I have called the office several times and have been told items would be repaired in my apartment and it has not happened. For the price you pay for rent, these items and concerns should not go ignored. I will not renew my lease. I have lived here for almost three years and the same issues have happened with each new management company.

The apartment is in a very nice area, but the maintenance department and front office is a joke. 90% of the work orders we put in are put with a note "we have dogs.please call ahead of time. " Then apparently they show up unannounced and hear the dogs and leave, then mark the work order as completed without notifying us. I've had to fix nearly every issue we have had in this apartment, when we have bulbs go out apparently its up to the resident to replace them no matter how quickly they went out. We have called the front office over the last year and a half and more often then not its sent to voice mail. When we leave messages they do not return the calls EVER. For how much money we spend, you would think filters and light bulbs would be stocked and handed out to the residents AT LEAST. Instead we have to chase down the staff in order to get anything done. Apartments are supposed to be somewhere where you pay a ridiculous amount for a small space and not have to worry about taking care of the issues that come up. Its understandable that maintenance calls have been put on hold because of the pandemic, but this has been going on for a year and a half now.
Also a few months ago i thought i had paid my rent, but apparently it didn't go through.after 72 hours i got a call when i was at work from a number i didn't recognize so i didn't call them back. That same day one of the office staff came and taped a piece of paper to my door saying we were being evicted because we didn't pay rent. I didn't receive any email or phone call, other then the one right before the letter, but when i called and said money isn't an issue and i just had no idea the payment didn't go through and i have always paid early so why are they so quick to try to evict us, she said "well we have tried to get in touch with you" (other then the one call i received like an hour before we got the eviction notice i didn't have anything in my email, or any voicemails or other calls from that number.). As soon as this pandemic is over and we feel safe enough to start looking for a new place, we will be leaving.

Now that management has changed from when I first moved here 3 years ago I love it. Great management and fun place to live and safe.

We have been living here for 1 year. Everyone's been awesome, great place. Very peaceful day and night. Love the trails and nearby park for our little one

Absolutely worst apartment complex I have ever lived at. Management is a joke. “New management people” are even worse then the previous. Rude and inconsiderate. Poor customer service. Would not recommend this place even to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time checking this place out.

I live here and all I can say is DO NOT I MEAN DO NOT LIVE HERE! Management is HORRIBLE I have had a leak that makes water seep through the flooring for a month now that has brought cockroaches and probably mold and do they care nope. They are clueless and not professional at all. I didnt even want to put a star but I had to. Do not waste your time or money HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

Pay attention to these reviews! This management company (CAF) creates their TAA lease NOT in accordance with TAA regulations. After talking with all 3 ladies in the office (including management), I was informed they basically manipulate the amounts on their lease and insert totals other than rent on the 1st page of the lease in order to be able to take you to court for rents AND fees (you cannot take someone to court for non-payment for anything other than rent). Keep in mind, all addition documents state fees are in addition to rents listed on the first page. If you sign this, you are essentially giving them permission to charge you fees twice. They also gave us documentation (a day before we were scheduled to move in) that states we provided non refundable fees (App fee $25 & Admin fee $50) and a deposit of $200 at the time of leasing. We have had multiple communication for 2 months, but they never gave us info for move in or "Welcome Home" letter until right before we move in. Their lease also states each resident MUST "purchase" a gate remote for $50 at the time of move in, but if you don't give it back when you move out they charge you another $50. This is not purchasing it. They also charge you a $45 meter read fee. FYI, there are already lawsuits including various management companies and properties about this fee. Because of all these shady business practices that are borderline illegal, we did not feel comfortable and decided to cancel our move in. They have now informed us our DEPOSIT will not be refunded (deposits are refundable, fees are not. We all know this. Nor did they state the deposit was non refundable on the welcome home letter or online. They stated only the fees were non-refundable). They state if you cancel you lose your deposit. But what if you have to cancel because they refuse to properly fill out your lease that you are ready to sign? This clearly shows me that this management company is greedy and unethical. I feel extremely lucky I was able to find housing in just a couple days because our movers were already scheduled.and thank goodness they accepted my money orders that I had already made for my pet fees, deposits etc.

DOG PARK! Absolutely love apartments with dog parks.pet friendly communities are the best. Staff is super nice. Betsy is da bestest. Overall great place to live and very friendly staff <3

I chose Overlook as Stone Oak Park because the layout for my unit is so spacious, the Hill Country view is amazing and I can't complain about the leasing office, the ladies are so nice and professional.
This place makes me feel like I'm in home. If I were you I would lease in this community!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Never have any issues. I see some other post on here and it makes me wonder if we're reviewing the same property. SMH. Trust me when I say "Lease here", you won't regret it.
