Park West has been my home for the last 2 years, the experience has been great! Friendly office staff and the maintenance team is awesome as well!

I highly recommend living here! You'll love the amenities for you and for your pets. The management is fantastic and this place is consistently being cleaned by our great maintenance staff.

I've loved living here for almost 5 years now and I've recruited so many friends. Tour the property, you won't be disappointed!

I've lived at Park West for almost a year. Moving from across the country in the middle of a pandemic could not have been smoother. The management and staff at Park West are first rate.
Jazmin, in particular, was and continues to be so helpful and her attention to detail is second to none.
The amenities here at Park West are outstanding. The location is great for walking to groceries, bars, etc. So happy to call Park West home.

I've lived here for roughly 1.5 years and have had a very mixed experience. If you had asked me about halfway through living here I would have had nothing but great things to say but that's unfortunately no longer the case. I definitely do not recommend renting the 353 unit if you can avoid it. That being said, I've tried to be as objective as possible here. Positives and negatives listed below:

Positives:
1. The pet related amenities are second to none. The big dog park is truly massive and even the little dog park is bigger than parks I've seen at other complexes. My dog loves the dog pool in the summer. The enclosed walking trail is fantastic for late night or early morning walks.
2. Being right across the street from Kroger is seriously so convenient.
3. During emergencies (Like COVID or the winter storm) the office is great about communication and sharing resources.
4. The maintenance team is second to none. Seriously the most helpful maintenance staff I've seen at any of the complexes I've lived at.

Negatives:
1. My biggest complaint is honestly just interactions I've had with the office. I don't feel like I am taken seriously at all with any of the issues I've had while living here (which is a tough pill to swallow when I pay $1300+ to live here). For months, I told the office that my neighbors were letting their rowdy dogs walk around several times a day without a leash on. This was a pretty big issue for me as my dog has leash reactivity issues so random dogs running at her was a bit of a safety concern. Every time I tried to speak with the office, they were very dismissive and the issue never got resolved until the residents moved out. I also had the neighbor (despite me never speaking to them directly) drunkenly follow me at night to aggressively yell at me. When I tried to tell the office, again very dismissive.
2. The security here is not great. The garage gates have been left open multiple times since I've been here. The app that they use as a fob is so slow to actually let you in and the locks take forever to relock once you do go in. The garage gate is so slow that at least two cars can go in to the "secure" part of the garage per scan in.
3. I can literally hear every single thing my upstairs neighbors do. Whether I just have loud neighbors or whatever the case may be, my poor dog hides in most days because the noise makes her anxious. All around, very poor quality.
4. Do not expect pet rules to be enforced. There is always dog poop every where and dogs without leashes are certainly not uncommon. Even getting the office to send out a simple reminder that leashes were not optional was like pulling teeth.
5. The elevators are not spaced out well at all. The long walks to and from the elevator when you have grocery bags or something similar is not fun at all.

All around, I do wish I could have ended my experience living here on a more positive note because the complex itself is nice. That being said, all of my interactions lately with the office have just made me feel like they see me as a dollar sign and do not care about providing a good experience to their residents.

I had a terrible experience with a previous apartment complex and needed to move immediately. Charis at Park West helped me find a unit within the community that fit ALL of my needs, and the turn-around was so quick. I was applied and was approved for the unit on a Friday, and they had the unit ready for me by Monday. The community is great, the overall facilities, amenities and units are excellent and well-kept. The staff is AMAZING, and any maintenance requests I had were completely timely and efficiently. I have loved my experience so far and highly recommend to anyone looking in the Dallas area.

Honestly, THEE best apartment complex I've lived at. Work orders were completed efficiently, staff was professional and just everything was amazing. Walking distance to a grocery store, nail spa and a sushi bar! I wish I could've stayed and renewed my lease but unfortunately I wasn't able to due to personal reasons but if I could give more than 5 stars I honestly would!

Living here is not great. We literally get an email that something is broken everyday and takes forever to fix it. Security is low, key dob doors have been broken: hallways often smell like dog because they send people to clean every five years! The aux in the gym doesn’t work nor fireplaces. This place is for show and tell I can spend 1400 a month on a one bedroom elsewhere! Hottub also has been broken since the end of time

This is honestly one of the worst places I’ve lived. The hottub has been broken since July 6th. I pay overpriced for these apartments and they state every week that the hottub will be fixed in a few days, yet here we are 5 MONTHS later and nothing. If I wanted to pay for an overpriced apartment I could do that anywhere. One of the main reasons I moved in was due to all the amenities and they are consistently broken.

First year was great but since I have renewed, it has gone down hill.
I feel as if I get a notification that there is some issue with our gates and or doors not working everyday. When this happens, there is extra support from security but I have not seen them the times I have gone out of the complex.
I would like to suggest maybe having key entry doors in the parking lot levels as now anyone can come in our hallways - just walk up the broken gate. (Or cameras would be great).

As far as the staff, I have no bad comments as the issues are not their fault. They always keep us informed and are very nice when we complain about these issues. I am just not pleased with how many things have been malfunctioning and these ease of getting in our parking garage/hallways. Everything else has been fine living here -

I’m halfway through my lease and I can confidently say - not only am I a happy resident, but I am highly inclined to renew my lease and stay another year. The facility itself is great, the gym is very extensive, the location is amazing and central to lots of things I enjoy; I am just overall very content with my experience so far. Like all complexes, there is the occasional rowdy neighbor, the occasional lingering smell of something funky in the hall or garage, or a random gas leak that causes a mandatory evacuation. Stuff happens EVERYWHERE. But - one key difference is - the staff here handles issues promptly, they are all extremely helpful, they are extraordinarily polite and cheerful, and are readily available always. Jazmin was the one who leased me my apartment; not only was she very communicative, she went out of her way to keep me up to date on every single step of the way. I called her WAY too many times, I was VERY inquisitive about details and admittedly a bit fussy, but she always took care of me and did it with a smile. Even now, I’m constantly pestering her with things and she never fails to answer my questions or deal with my issues. Charis has also been extremely polite and helpful when she is around and Jazmin isn’t. I always look forward to swinging by and just chatting with Charis or simply saying hello because she is just such a people person! Regardless of who is in the office, the staff is competent, respectful, and truly embody the notion of excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking in the area.

We have had great interactions with both Jazmin and Charis. We’ve been here almost two years! We still consider Park West a great place to live:)

Send out obnoxious review request everyday- Charis and other people writing great reviews are staff members pretending to be residents. This place is sad. It’s loud I can hear everything all my neighbors do, all the staff members are rude and stuck up. I actually don’t mind paying a good amount for quality living I love nice things, but the energy here is horrible and the management is poor.

I just renewed for 4th time. The staff is awesome and goes our of their way to appease. They are always accessible, visible and friendly. Dogs rule here and there is a garden for the green thumbs. And the location is perfect.

The town hall meetings that they've started are super informative, it shows that they are listening to what the community is saying. I'm happy that they got the media room TV to start working, especially for football season. The staff is super attentive and always try their best to get things taken care of around the community!

I have been living here since 3 years, its used to be a wonderful place to live but now since few months new staff and new company took over
I wouldn't recommend this place to live
First of all floor smells really bad, its really embarrassing when u have guest over and they tell you, this place stink
All the floor and very bad smell
Second every time u wanna use computer downstairs first you have to give them your ID then they give you keyboard and mouse then these computers never works
Then you tell the staff they have bad attitude, not the old staff, new staff
Overall i started to hate this place.

I just moved to the complex on 08/02/19 and I'm totally not satisfied with my unit here. I truly expected more from the community. The quality, doesn't meet my rental rate and what was initially presented. My apartment flooring was filthy upon moving in, creaking/cracking tiles in the bathroom, damp older carpet in the bedroom upon moving in, some dusty/dirty areas within, I can hear my neighbor walking above me very clear and doesn't cool properly. If you want better quality for in the $1300/mo.price range for a one bedroom, look elsewhere. I hope this helps!

This is a wonderful community! I am very pleased with the quality of my apartment and the grounds. It’s extremely dog friendly, with two dog parks (one featuring a dog pool!) and a dog wash station. All of the staff is very friendly as well. Highly recommend!

I love living at Park West! The location is perfect. You’re literally right in the middle of everything, which is exactly what I was looking for when finding a new place to live. Uptown, Downtown, Bishop Arts, Deep Ellum.you name it. Front office/Maintenance teams are great as well.

The apartments are beautiful and the neighborhood is great, but I was visiting friends there last night, parked in visitor parking, and they towed my car. I was fully ready to call the leasing office today and try to sign a lease, but honestly with the $200 towing fee as a legitimate visitor in an mostly empty garage without consistent “register your car” signage, I won’t sign onto this nightmare. There were no signs where I parked and with you inconsistent emails about it, my friends didn’t mention it. Y’all lost a customer.

So I waited quite a while before posting a review. I wanted to have enough experience living here to give an honest review of what your time here may be like. I just renewed my lease for another year. I moved in October 2017 and I have absolutely loved it. Get ready for a long one. Is it 100% perfect all the time? No. But nothing ever is. Few of the highlights over the last 9.5 months: Jazmin in leasing is incredible. Seriously. She's amazing. Always smiling. Remembers names (which really makes ya feel "home, " ya know?) She was the first person I saw at Ilume Park and I swear she's always there. All the others in the office are great, too! I just haven't had as many interactions with them. They respond to email pretty darn fast if you have a question or concern. The dog park is amazing. Big enough to give the pups some great running room without being so big you completely lose sight of them (and where they "go"). Some residents don't pick up after their furry kids, but that's not the apartment's fault. They've become more strict on it, though, and that's helped. Plus they provide the baggies, so there's really no excuse. The self serve grooming salon is so convenient. No more back aches from doing it myself in the tub. Fitness center is pretty great - they have all the normal stuff plus a bit more. The hallway carpets do need to be cleaned more than they are.especially considering it's such a dog friendly complex, but hey, if that's my biggest complaint (which it is), I think I'll live. My apartment itself is lovely. I love the white/gray/black color scheme. I love my open floor plan. I get compliments from everyone. I love my giant tub and my closet bigger than Harry Potter's cupboard. I wish I had a storage closet of somesort in my unit, but ya win some and ya lose some. I have never seen a bug in my apartment. Yes, noise levels can get loud, especially nights and weekends. My neighbors are pretty great, but outside noise happens. It's Oak Lawn. There's quite a bit of night life around and a firehouse down the street. I honestly don't even hear it anymore. The location is crazy convenient. Walking across the street to Kroger is amazing. One time I forgot an ingredient for dinner and I'm not kidding I went to Kroger, got what I needed, and was back in 4 minutes. Not to mention my nail salon down the street and the numerous restaurants in walking distance (plus walking burns off some of the calories you're about to consume AND you don't have to worry about parking or valeting). Harry in maintenance is AMAZING. I put in a work order to get the light inside my oven fixed and it was done in a day. The maintenance team is super fast and efficient and always stops to give my pups some love. Parking isn't bad. You (aim) to park on the floor you live on. I live on the 2nd floor, and we have a handfull of spots that are wasted on bike poles that aren't even used (okay maybe that's my biggest complaint cause it's hella frustrating), but if I get home before 8 or so I still park on the 2nd floor. Worst case scenario, I park on the 3rd or 4th and take the stairs or elevator down. But hey, it's covered parking and you don't pay extra (unless you want an assigned spot). Packages that don't fit in a mail box are in 24 hour lockers that are free as long as you get your stuff within 48 hours. Pretty convenient unless you're out of town. It is really annoying to be forced into paying $30 a month for valet trash (used to be $25, but went up with the new lease), especially when I literally pass the trash chute to go to my car. Seems like a lot to pay for a service I honestly don't want. Rent is spot on with the area and considering what you're getting. (Did I mention my apartment is beautiful?) All in all, I really enjoy living here. Enough so to renew my lease for the first time in 6 years. If you're going back and forth on this place, just go for it. You won't regret it.
