Peekaboo Pediatrics, Houston TX

I would give zero stars if I could. First of all, they outsource their on call hours to a service that does not have patient chart, information, history, etc. Secondly, I was told by the on call nurse (again with no history or chart) to call the office and try to get in rather than visit an urgent care facility after calling about an adverse reaction to antibiotics. I show up during the walk in time I was advised to and still waited nearly 3 hours to be seen. After the wait I decided to trust my gut rather than the advice of their on call nurse and head to an urgent care. I was advised to IMMEDIATELY head to an ER. My child’s condition could have been life threatening and no one at Peekaboo seemed to care enough about that. They clearly don’t have enough resources to care for their current patients so I don’t know why they are still adding dozens of new ones. On top of this one very severe incident, their wait times are obscenely long, they rush through check ups, and do not provide adequate after hour/on call care. If you care about the well being of your child (ren), stay away from these doctors, because they clearly don’t.

We love Dr. Pankaj! The wait is always long but she is worth the wait. I will take my girls to her forever! She is so incredibly kind. Her nurse is also so funny and kind! They are always a smiling face and always address all our concerns and questions. With my first she was on speed dial and she never made me feel bad or weird about calling. They are so good with our girls we are so thankful for them!

Terrible experience! Didn't even want to stay and see the doctor. Horrible customer service! We sat down for a little while waiting for someone to open the screen window and take us in. My daughter was the only one in the room so of course being a 18 month old in a large space she wants to walk around and explore the place. I was asked to get her off a chair she was on top of which I can understand she can fall. But it wasnt until she saw another little girl in the room they wanted to make friends. The little girl followed her and she ran with her. I guess childrens laughter and joy tends to annoy their staff.
The receptionist told me the doctor wants it quiet and for the kids to be sitting down so they "don't hurt themselves"? Idk what kind of PEDIATRICIAN office doesnt have any toys, tv, books or something for KIDS to be Kids. Smh I will not have someone who works with kids basically want me to to strap my kid down and cover their mouth. I'm sure the doctors are wonderful but I will just take her to our old doctor where they at least SMILE and Greet you. This place was just closer to our house.

This has been my kids doctor for years I love this place and would recommend any parent to them. The pediatricians are nice and willing to answer any questions you have about your children.
