PetSmart, Houston TX

I order my prescription pet food frequently from pet smart. Today I ordered my dogs food online for curbside pick up. Online it says wait 2 hours and it will be ready for pick up. 3 hours after I placed my order online I went to the store for pickup. Walked inside to get my order and the cashier said it wasn’t ready yet and called on the walk-in talkie “ customer here order not picked yet”.
They had not picked my items yet. I don’t expect much from hourly paid employees and neither should anyone but this guy with the Afro was really trying to rest his case about why he didn’t pick the order yet and how I should “wait” until the order is confirmed via email ready for pick up. Excuse me? It’s been over 3 hours since I did my curbside pick up online order and How about you do your job! And a customer that’s prepaid? The bag was also damaged and the dog food was spilling out in my car since the bag was sliced. Really disappointed in this curbside pick up nonsense at this location. I typically go to the location off Shepherd and W Alabama for pick ups, they are amazing and kind and always handle the curbside orders quickly.
Horrible customer service! Manager needs to check how the employees are treating customers!

Watch your stuff as it is being rung up. Cashier added $10 donation without my permission (I’m sure not his first time). I noticed afterwards then was told donations can’t be refunded. I can only assume they must meet some sort of quota as I use to when I worked in customer service in the past. Will be going out of the area to avoid this in the future.

This location is HORRIBLE. Very unprofessional. It took 35 min to get my curbside pick up out to my car after I received an email telling me it was ready for pick up. I ja to call twice yo see what the hold up was. NEVER AGAIN!

Great quick in and out could have been a little faster if the guy would check people out while answering the phone

PetSmart has always been my go to store since they came into existence. But this location had given me headaches since April. They are not stocked and Everytime I go in for something they don't have it. Shelves are half empty all the time. This was the last straw today. The on duty mgr or asst told me that She only worked there. That was it for us. We went to Petco and their story was full of product and they easily had the science diet dog food that we needed. Also, the staff was knowledgeable about their product and that means a lot. I am sad that I won't shop at a PetSmart anymore after 30 + years.

There Fishes or should I say, there Fish Tank presentation is not appealing to the Public. They look dirty, no lighting and they just do no justice to the fish. The labels on the aquarium dont even match the fish in them and the poor fish are all just mixed. Please do better.

Went in looking for a collar for a medium size pit bull. The cashier who I dealt with. She was very helpful.

I was looking at some tropical fish, or maybe a hamster, but the selection of fish was kinda sad and the two hamsters they had were too old for what they were asking, oh well.

Love this place, I go almost every weekend for my baby Star lol. They have everything you need for pets and if you need help the employees are very helpful. I have also taken Star for a bath and grooming and they did an excellent job. I will be gladly bringing her here in the future. Yes i know that maybe i shouldnt have cut her hair being the breed she is but i could also tell that she was very uncomfortable with this Texas heat.

Terrible grooming, had to go back the next day to have their haircuts redone. They painted their nails and got it all over their fur even though their fur was cut really short.

They have all the supplies and services needed. The staff are very friendly. I do notice that the prices of some items are expensive so i usually shop for discounted items, which they have sales throughout the year.

This store was awful. They were out of stock of so many things it looked like they were going out of business. The store was dirty and a mess.

The lady at desk for Banfield put 2 17lb bags of food in my cart after reprinting the prescription for Specialized food. Then the lady cash register checked me out and told me to pull up and she lifted those babies in for me. I'm a female Veteran who has not been able to lift over 8lbs w/o throughing out my back and hip but now with a multitude of operations on my hip I dont chance it. But I do want to say YEAY WOMAN POWER to those that helped, Keep up the Good work. Karen& Abbi

Great customer service. I knew what I was going in for, so I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes. The store was clean, the staff was friendly. I did have to wait at the register for a few solo minutes for a cashier but that just gave me a little time to let my niece look at the animals. Their bearded dragons are super active (my son's literally sleeps 22 hours a day) the birds were very pretty and active, the snakes are gorgeous, and as usual the hamsters etc were sleep.

Great staff at this location. I bring my pets to the clinic here and always have terrific service.

The girl at the register was very nice and pleasant, and I was able to find what I was looking for

Most PetSmart's you go into, there may be like one or two employees wondering around. Here there were like ten. All of them wanted to help us out, too. I'm not a big fan of PetSmart's prices, but I would definitely go back here for the customer service alone.

Love this store even though they were out of what I needed shelby went above and beyond to accommodate. Even while being busier than I've ever seen!

I use the pet salon at this Petsmart and I always have a wonderful experience. My dog always looks and smells wonderful. Phyllis was wonderful on the last visit. All the girls there are great.

I always love visiting PetSmart. The employees are super friendly and helpful. It's obvious they enjoy working there.
People who love animals really are wonderful.
