Pho Thaison / Phở TháiSơn reviews
37Great spot. Good food and pretty nice atmosphere but they play the music a little too loud for my taste. Get the Bun!
Pho Thaison on Burnet Rd had some of the tastiest pho I’ve ever had! Especially for these snowy cold day’s? ️
The first photo is the #20 shrimp, calamari, imitation crab and fishballs, my company said it was bomb diggity!
As an appetizer we got the grilled chicken rolls, the peanut sauce was good and it was hot (temperature) which was cool
And I got the steak and brisket pho, and it was so so so savory and yummy!
Amazing pho and vermicelli dishes, great prices - these guys have been around forever and you can see why! Service is quick, and the tables are well stocked with sauces.
Pad Thai is my favorite food. I moved to north Austin a few years ago and until now I hadn’t been able to find pad Thai I liked as much as where I got it in south Austin. The pad Thai here was delicious! So glad I found my new favorite spot.
Food was decent, but we had a bad experience. Staff wasn’t friendly and half way through the meal, a cockroach walked on my bench. I didn’t say anything. We just stopped eating, got up, paid our bill and left.
Decent pho, polite staff, decent prices. I go here when I'm craving pho but don't have the energy to go down to my favorite one which has the same namesake. The food still has the quality and flavor I prefer. Veggie friendly. Tasty
Pretty solid Vietnamese food. Vermicelli and pork rolls were yummy. Portions are generous and they offer takeout.
I’ve been here so many times it was my favorite place. I really love the pad Thai but recently they’ve made their portions three times smaller for the same price! Very disappointing. Won’t be going back anymore.
I love this place! Such a good location, and their food is always sooo delicious. I always get the tofu bao buns and Singaporean tofu. Hits the spot every time.
A big bowl of comfort! Great Pho whether I'm hanging out with friends and enjoying a meal or I'm starting to feel under the weather. It's the new grandma's chicken soup! Great food, great prices, and excellent service.
Long wait to sit and for food. Decent spring rolls and pho. They offered a discount for the long wait, so at least they are aware. Prices are decent.
Maybe the best shrimp and pork vermicelli I've ever had. Pork had a crust and just the right amount of fat. Perfect fish sauce. The pork belly spring rolls were divine. Perfect peanut sauce. Prompt, pleasant service.
My daughter had the vegi Pho it was perfect, I had the seafood one, it was pretty delicious too but ran out of the sea food too soon. The service was a little slow, only a grandma working. And our appetizers were served in the middle of the pho.
Really great food, lots of items on the menu. Service is a lil slow but when it comes out it’s steaming hot and you know it’s fresh
Photo Taison always has such delicious and fresh food. It is a family favorite & we're never disappointed.
Pho Thaison is located in Austin. It is very authentic Vietnamese food. Not only do they have a variety of Pho, they also have vermicelli bowls fried and spring rolls. The servers are Vietnamese and very friendly. They have vegetarian choices on the pho and vermicelli bowls and rolls. I had a little of everything and it was ver delicious. They have soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sriracha available in the table.
Pho places are popping up all over Austin and folks get very loyal to their own neighborhood place. Pho Thaison is my go to place if only because of its affordable pricing and proximity to the Dragons Lair. Geography aside I love the spring rolls and the pad thai. Actually kinda fond of all the noodle dishes. If your picking up your comics or photo equipment then stop in and get your nosh on.
You can tell the soup of noodle is real beef broth, not something made up. Pho with fatty brisket is very tasty! Pork belly bao is also a perfect appetizer!
Just waited at the door for ten minutes and was never acknowledged. Everyone walked past us and wouldn’t even look at us. Never coming back.
