I worked with Ben Taylor while searching for a rental property. He was professional and informative. Overall, I had a great experience with birdy property.

I'm an out-of-state real estate investor new to the San Antonio area. After much research I chose PMI Birdy Properties as my property management team member. They have lived up to their excellent reputation. Lorena, Elsa and Alexa have been invaluable in their recommendations of neighborhoods for potential purchases, in the evaluation of my first purchase in the area and are currently helping me to make that purchase rent ready. I look forward to our future endeavors as I grow my portfolio in the San Antonio market.

I have been working with Estela with my new rental house and she has been very helpful through all this! She is always prompt with responses to my questions and concerns in emails. I appreciate that and the help!

I never write reviews but this has been the absolute WORST experience I have had with any company so I would like to warn others. Honestly, I wish I could rate them 0 stars.

Upon moving out we were provided with an "invoice" of all the work done on the property. Work that WE paid for, not Birdy Properties. The invoice was created by Birdy Properties and did not include any vendor invoices with evidence of the charges or that the work was completed. I noticed that we were charged for a rekey and they said that no keys were turned in. We in fact did turn in the keys. I filled out the dispute form and sent them the proof they needed that the keys were turned in. They came up with EVERY excuse they could as to why it was rekeyed. Even saying that the rekey happened during business hours before we turned the keys in. Yet, we were still able to get in the home after hours with our keys and leave them on the table. Please tell me how that makes sense? I have asked them numerous times for the vendor invoices, which they REFUSE to send to me. They then said that they don’t send out the vendor invoices. Why? I paid for these services so shouldn’t I be able to see the vendor invoices? Seems fraudulent to me. They ask for so much “evidence” and “proof” if you want to dispute something but they can’t show you the same. FINALLY, after saying I was going to get others involved, they sent me invoices. However, still no invoice for the rekey that was done. What a coincidence. Birdy Properties is so untrustworthy and sketchy that we had to call the vendors they provided on the invoices just to make sure they were legitimate. After getting our response to the dispute, they said that we didn’t turn the keys in on the date we listed as our move out date. However, we were moved out days prior. Due to COVID we were confused as to how we were supposed to turn the keys in. We were in close contact with SARA LEVENS and she seemed understanding at the time and said it was no issue if we left the keys on the table and took a picture of them and sent an email saying that they had been turned in. We did exactly that. She failed to mention that if they were turned in late we would be charged $100. Where was the disconnect? Not to mention we were moved out and still had to pay an additional month of rent on top of other ridiculous charges. They also charged us for disposal of the owner’s items that were there when we moved in. We didn’t feel comfortable throwing away the owner’s items, but Birdy Properties sure did.and then they charged us for it. HA. This company is an example of how NOT to run a business.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE management and customer service. I am SO GLAD I will never have to deal with them again and I feel sorry for those who do. I do NOT recommend them to anyone. Thankfully there are a lot of other choices out there when it comes to a property management company. After reading other reviews, it seems as though we are not the only ones that this has happened to. Please take these reviews seriously because it WILL happen to you too. Stay away from Birdy Properties unless you like throwing your money away.

UPDATE: they are now not responding to us and have yet to show us the receipt for the rekey that we paid for. We even contacted the owner, Brian Birdy, and he has not responded. This company is a scam.

I worked with Americo and he was amazing! Found me the perfect place in my budget with everything I was looking for! I felt like he genuinely cared that he found the perfect home for me! Was available when I had questions and has great availability for viewing places!

I had problems that required maintenance ASAP upon move-in they got to it right away! Problems solved! Happy tenant!

Gotta give these guys a shoutout, they are truly amazing. Whenever I have issues with the house they're always super easy to reach and they'll do the work as quick as possible. Very very happy to work with 'em.
