New car dealership staff is friendly and attentive, but you can tell that this is a high volume place that doesn't spend a lot of money on the interior or frills. I can see that it can go very wrong for some people, especially if you aren't "compatible" with whoever on the sales floor grabs you as you enter. But, they ARE dealin'. Yet UPDATE.after owning car for a while, I'm not happy with the service department. Wouldn't buy from again.

This is the WORST DEALERSHIP I have ever visited. The majority of the service people have a cold and very unfriendly disposition.

Feel sorry for the people that have to work in that hot box though.

After leaving Helfman on I10 near Ikea, and them not even calling us back to see if we would still be interested in the vehicle we were looking at, the next day we went to River Oaks Helfman. Sean, Blake, the new car sales mgr (sorry can't remember his name), Jackie and Eduardo were amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this dealership. Now I know why everyone recommends them! We are so happy with our 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and will definitely send everyone we know here.

Mr. Fred Gibbs was our sales person. He was very attentive to our needs. He made the process effortlessly. And made it happed. I would definitely reccomend this dealership to Friends, and family.

This was our second straight purchase for a Jeep from River Oaks CJDR. Just as before, the experience was great, fast, and simple. I will definitely continue to buy from this dealership when it's time to purchase another vehicle.

Looked online for 2017s Durango RT, Chris sent me a personal email which was different and more personal then other dealers computerized responses. I traveled from Corpus and we made the deal. This young man was very professional and personable. Made me feel very comfortable. If you want a down to earth professional and personable salesman, Chris Tansiongco is your salesperson.

I was very pleased with the repair service at River Oaks Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, and although the repairs took a little longer than I had anticipated, Christian managed things extremely well. He is not only efficient and knowledgeable but also courteous and affable.

I had a horrible experience with the service dept, particularly with a Service Advisor named Heylin Gomez. My 2013 jeep wrangler was having clutch issues making it not drivable and I had my jeep towed there based on very misleading information from her after visiting there. She outright told me after a short conversation that a vehicle diagnostic would find all the problems wrong and quoted a price for it which was fine for me. I told her coming in that the clutch was completely out; amongst other problems that needed addressed. I not only get a call the next day saying that the 1200 range was now a 2000 range (for the same part she knew it needed, nothing extra), but when my father met the tow truck driver up there to take it elsewhere and asks for the diagnostic that I already paid for, she gives me a sheet of paper that is simply and clearly stated "customer quote" for the clutch that I needed plus labor. Not any type of printout about ANY probs they found or even looked for, which there were several she didn't even address. I literally was charged $165 for her to give me a printout of how much a part that I told her I needed would cost plus labor. $ 165 gone. Then she actually has the audacity to tell me she only did a diagnostic on the clutch because thats what I mentioned and that a diagnostic would be a separate charge for another part? So it's 2 charges for $165 if I also had a alternator? Neither she nor that quote showed any checks for anything other than the main problem I TOLD HER ABOUT. This was all so irritating because not only have I lost time dealing w this, money for tow charges, mislead before and lied to after this ordeal, but had I agreed to ALL this and still gotten the work done, all of the probs would've either not been fixed or the price was going get even higher after the.quote/diagnostic sheet of paper. I felt disregarded throughout the while process. And I only went there on a recommendation from one of my more affluent friends. I sincerely hope my appearance of lack of that particular atribute had nothing to do with it. What's sad though is I know I'll get a template response from them on this review saying they're sorry about my experience and that the service managwr would LOVE to speak to me about this smh.

Point blank: Never going again

OMG, service was beyond spectacular. I will definitely do business with this dealership again. I will also recommend this dealership to my friends. Everything went so smooth. Every complaint we had, was resolved before we left with a purchase. The auto's have good rates, the salesmen were so helpful and friendly with no sales pressure. Dean Francis was our salesman and I rate him a 10.

Blake and Yves were so helpful. Buying a car is usually a daylong experience. I was in and out in a few hours, left with two great cars (had to trade mine and get an affordable on for my daughter,) and know that next time I need to buy a car, I will definitely go back to River Oaks. Thanks, guys!

We had an amazing experience at River Oaks Jeep. Everyone there was so friendly and willing to help. We are first time jeep owners and they were very knowledgeable and helpful from start to finish. They were the best price and most accomadating. Thank you Blake and Gregory for all of your help. It truly was a pleasant experience.

I have bought two cars from here and by far this us the best dealership I have been to. The customer service is spectacular and the entire staff is friendly and super helpful. They never forget me when I come in for a service and very hospitable. The manager Blake Helfman is superb and Oscar in sales really knows his jeeps. If you are in the market for a new or used vehicle make sure to take a look a this dealership for sure! You want regret it!
