Consumer to Consumer. Do NOT do business with Royal Air. Read other reviews, they are all true.

I purchase my Trane HVAC in 2017 believing in their price and value of the service plan. The service plan is garbage. The technicians will always to sell you something costing from $300 to $10K. Yes, that's right 18-months into ownership a technician recommended the best course of action was for me to trade in my perfectly functioning unit for $3K credit towards a larger unit, that he would clear it with the boss.

This winter a technician fell through my child ceiling and the company offered to give me a free spring time maintenance. Why oh why did I accept?

Two weeks ago I set up my spring service appointment before this heat arrived and temps were still in the 70s, heat was not even in site. I took off work and today by 9: 30am I decided to call to see where I was in the rotation. They receptionist said that I didn't have an appointment. Listen. This is obvious. They received a litany of calls over the past week with people with unit issues whereas that can bill them $100-$1000s. Why honor a set prepaid service appointment. This is NOT the first time this has happened.

Dishonest in practices. Disrespectful of your time. Lack of leadership in a manager will take weeks to call you back if ever. Just how bad this business is is thoroughly poop emoji from the top to the technicians, every department, everything. Read. Read away at any review that you choose to believe. Your time, your experience has a price and even if their quote is some dollars less. Don't do it.

They sold me on my interior system being to filled with bacteria and mold. They said it would cause me illness and cancer. The installers used the same ducts from the old dirty system and connected it to the new entire bran new system. It is beyond greedy and wreck less. I later found out that the warehouse was 10 min from my property address. Shameful

If I can leave zero stars I would! They cheated me out on the way they write out the contract. Very unprofessional and they blame you for everything.

We had a gentleman come out for an estimate. After going into our attic he came down and stated that we had rust and mold in the attic and that they can fix it as well as install a new unit of choice that they offer. I asked if I could see the pictures that he took in my attic and was told that his phone died after he took his last picture so he was not able to show me the pictures. He also informed me that he was sending his manager over to discuss options for a new unit installed.
When his manager arrived (George Saleh) he quickly engaged to a telephone call speaking aggressive about another customer that will have to us in-house financing because of their credit score and telling the party he was speaking with that is the only option they would have or else.
To me it was very unprofessional to enter someone's home and start a telephone conversation about another customer. Once we started inquiring about possible services/prices/choice of units it went downhill as George did not give us an option of any unit he actually picked a unit for us (carrier) and when I asked about other units that I was interested in he basically implied that there is not much of a price difference and went on to stated carrier gives the best rebate and quoted me 12,950.00 minus 2,000 rebate 10,950.00 all related to work performance /materials & install of unit.
When I asked to see the photos George showed me pictures obviously of someone else's home not knowing that I already had pictures of my attic that I took that morning & and another Ac& Heating company took as well. On top of it all he described the attic pictures as disgusting multiple times "just disgusting" the only thing my husband & I found disgusting was his loud cologne scent. George appears to have issues answering a woman's question and showed he only wanted to speak with my husband (male chauvinist) personality for sure. I'm not sure if anyone else have experienced this type of act from Royal Air & Heating or just did not report it but I felt the need to report my experience.

Very unhappy with service, the only reason they got 1 star is because it will not post with out one being selected, they never show up on time if they come at all. We bought a brand new unit in May 2018 the install team has been back out 3 times, plus 5 regular techs. Within the first month the install crew had to come back out because the duct work they built on the unit was not sealed properly, the attic was almost as cool as the house.
They didn't install the thermostat correctly so when we changed from AC to heat the unit shut down. They charged me an additional $250 for a surge protector that if I didn't get would void my warranty. This did not fix the problem, they sent another tech out and they showed up 12 hours late and ran a sheet metal screw through 3 wires in the main wiring harness. Accidents happen right? Why put duct tape on 1 wire and leave 2 with bare wire exposed? They sent another tech out to diagnose problem and he replaced duct tape with electrical tape and taped the other 2. I have been waiting for someone to replace the harness since the beginning of December, called multiple times, left voice mails, talked to the service manager and still cant get them to come back out. I would not recommend this company to anyone for any reason.

This was the company dispatched from my home warranty company when my unit went out. They called me immediately, gave me an appointment for the following day, provided text messages and emails with appointment updates, and called when the tech was in route. Brandon was awesome. Detected our problem immediately and fixed it. He was very informative, courteous, and professional.
Next time I have an issue, I will request my warranty company to assign Royal Air to my home.

Jackie came by my house checked out my whole unit and made sure he gave me the best unit possible. I would definitely recommend speaking with Jackie for your ac needs.

Yes, I will Recommend Royal Air, This is a very professional company. Explains in detail any questions ask. The installation Crew where very respectful and clean up any mess that was made.

Part of the free 2 yr maintenance program of new units, Julio did an excellent job, clean, in and out. Also installed a UV light to kill mold at my request.

Called warranty co scheduled Royal air to come out to fix my central air furnaces. 4 days later the tech came out he said your system is too old. Said the breeze is blowing out pilot. He can have his salesman come out and show me what the home warranty co. First American Home warranty co. I met with there salesman. He told me The warranty co will pay $1500.00 and the Thanks Giving special is $2500.00 off the price. The new system is $14,985.00 - $4000.00 = $11985.00. OK that is 0 down and 0 interest at $170.00 a month like 6 years. I'll have to talk with my wife. He said OK the special will be gone as soon as the systems in stock are all sold. We checked and a system like they were selling high end is $7,000.00 and low is $5,000.00. Royal Air Houston's 0 down 0 interest is going to cost me high end from $4,000.00 and low end $7,000.00 dollars. On top of that I called First American Home warranty to see if they are the only air conditioning company we could use. FAHW co said Royal Air Houston told them there was nothing wrong with our unit. We can use anyone we want to. FHAW co said they wont replace a unit there is nothing wrong with. So Royal Air charged me $75.00 and did not fix my furnace. So I had to trouble shoot and replace my own smart valve on my furnaces now it works grate. Beware of Royal air Houston.

The technician was great. He did his best to work with my availability and handled the service call in as short a time as possible. He was very knowledgeable and knew what the exact problem was in no time. I highly recommend this company.
