Saddle River Range reviews
36I rented a fully automatic hk mp5. Very little recoil, awesome fun, they have alot of guns to rent, i reccomend the full autos.
Saddle River is a great atmosphere for anyone in the family. Really enjoyable experience every time I go. They also have food/drinks, have not had a bad thing yet.
John Oakland the gunsmith has taken great care of me and highly recommend him if you need anything done to your firearm.
Jeremiah in the gunsmith department was awesome! I had my gun jammed and could not release the jam and he had it operating in about 10 seconds! Very worth the the time and money!
John at the gunsmith desk was superb! He was very knowledgeable and was able to troubleshoot the issue with my firearm on the spot. Just an outstanding experience and they have earned my future business.
John Oakland, Gunsmith Extraordinaire! A friend switched my pistol trigger, but it kept jamming. We took my pistol in for John to diagnose and to fix the problem. John was able to fix the trigger while we waited. Excellent service from a very nice man. Much appreciated, John!
Bought a gun from them with a mounted scope that was broken.go in for help to get it fixed.they blame this guy.they are gonna call these people.they need the gun for a return.no communication in almost a week.had to go buy a working scope and have another dealer install it, because why would i let them do it at this point.really offered not much help and im out 400 to get a new scope so i can finally have a working rifle like i should have when bought off their shelves.not a great experience at all.
Mr. Miller at SRR was extremely helpful in helping me find the correct size and height of scope rings for my rifle. Saddle River is always willing to help any shooter and always has answers to all my questions. I trust them with my most expensive and sentimental firearms.
I love this place! We went there for the first time today. The place is really nice and the staff is great! It was a fun time and I cannot wait to come back!
My favorite place to shoot recurve bows. Air-conditioning is soooo much better than being outside!
I just took the Basic Handgun Class I and I highly recommend it. Our instructor was Josh and he was excellent, as he was knowledgeable, personable and not intimidating. I feel so much more confident in handgun safety and operation and I am already looking forward to practicing at the range. I will definitely be registering for the LTC/CHL class. Thank you for a positive first experience at SRR!
I love this place when I can get into it. Nicest people that work there however getting a lane is the slowest process and half the time I end up walking out because it's just so excruciatingly slow. There's plenty of people working there but something's gotta change.
Didn't get to enjoy the nice new place because the staff pissed me off as soon as I walked in the door
The blonde haired lady working at the check in was very rude right off the get go when my friend and I walked in. Between her and her supervisor, neither one knew how to differentiate between steel case and steel core. We would have most likely stayed and used their range if the blond lady working the desk wouldn't have been consistently rude. We will not be returning here.
Great visit as always. Lady who checked us in was a little standoffish could be much more friendly
I bought two passes to do the archery for my wife and I. I called to see what time they closed and of course the machine told me, no problem there. So we get in the car and drive a little over an hour to get there and the place was closed. The facilities from the outside look nice but I feel like it would have been real easy for someone to change the answering service message to let people know they would close during what would be normal operating hours. We were not the only ones disappointed, there were at least four cars that pulled in after we did.
Lied to me about their inventory to get me in the store. Too many other gun stores in Texas to consider going back.
Fantastic visit. I am range shy due to unsafe people, however this place has safety down. Very professional staff, and smiling faces. I didn't feel as if I was being babysitted but I knew everything was being watched. That being said I will return, most likely tomorrow.
Really nice facility, and the staff was very helpful for my family and I. I will definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to learn and practice with firearms.
I bought a pack of 6 passes + 2 virtual passes close to year ago. I was planning on using up my last two the last week of December (during the course of the 12 months i either didn't have time or could not find a range partner to go with) but got really sick. The range manager said it was policy that they couldn't be extended which didn't make sense to me because I would think it wouldn't cost them anything to extend the passes for a couple more weeks (why they even have an expiration doesn't seem right as i bought them they were not free). This doesn't seem like good business to me. I was even considering getting a membership but now definitely not.
Great place! Knowledgeable and friendly staff! I was able to rent some guns before I purchased one.
