Spec's Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods, Plano TX

I was happily surprised with the selection at the store. They also had a decent cheese, chips, salsa and small grocery area as well. Only reason I am giving it 3 stars is the person checking me out was rude and so busy having a conversation with a friend (not even a coworker) that he was incapable of doing his job well. No greeting, no thank you and I just stood there waiting for him to process the transaction. Also, I got home and my beer was all already past the best if drank by date.

Very clean store with extremely knowledgeable staff, was able to help me with all my questions and also make some great decisions that I wound up loving. I would recommend this location to anybody, and will be definitely going back in the future for all of my adult beverage needs.

Great selection from the minute you walk in the door. Plenty of staff in ALL areas of the spacious store to help you with ANY need you have. I was a little lost at first but an employee took the time to give me a run down of the floor plan as to help me find what I was looking for. Plenty of $1.00 Trial sizes near the registers to give you a taste of several varieties to insure you like a certain taste, prior to purchasing a larger bottle.
I highly recommend this location for your spirits needs.

I've had plenty of issues with Total Wine down the street but I've never had an issue here. These guys must be doing something right.

Very vast selection of alcohol and friendly helpful staff, also knowledgeable about the product they sell. Had a man explain to me the different types of scotch and which types would be ideal to start as well as how it's made and popular places that make it.

Hugh selections. Lots if gift ideals. Offered lots if samples! Knowledgeable staff walking around helping, answering questions and making suggestions. Pleasantly surprised at the prices.

Friendly staff, well-stocked store, awesome prices! I visited to return a keg rental for a wedding. They took longer than expected to refund the deposit, but I expect the process to get smoother with time.
