Dr. Tommy Duncan has been my PCP for around 3 years now. He truly cares and listens to my concerns about my health. I would definitely recommend him or Mrs. Mayes (his PA).

I enjoyed going here until I received a bill. I've been on the same meds for almost ten years. I moved and had to find a new doctor to prescribe them. The first visit was great, no charges other than copay. But after I went in for a "med check-in" after 3 months, I couldn't believe the bill I got. I looked up on healthcare bluebook the normal cost for a ten minute office visit and discovered that Texas health family care charges way too much! I thought maybe there was a coding error so I called and nope, that's what they charge. I've already switched to a new doctor and in my first visit with them (not med related) I was there about an hour, saw the doctor and the NP, had multiple tests done, and my bill after copay was less than the bill for my med check-in at Texas health. I've had the same insurance for years and spoke with my insurance company as well. This is the first time ever that I had to pay anything out of pocket other than a copay for a simple 10 minute med check-in.

I used to love this office for my kids. The past 2 times I've tried to schedule appointments it's been a huge hassle. They're always full or they have to squeeze us in. Time for a new pediatrician sadly

Yet again waiting 4 days just to be able to schedule an appointment. Called and was told to wait for a call back on Monday. Called Tuesday same thing. It's now Thursday. So done. If I could give 0 stars I would

They will reschedule you in a blink of and eye and talk to you how they want because you got late to your appointment. I had to change and go someplace else.

At first I thought Kendrick was great but after trying to reach out to his nurse multiple times and leaving multiple messages with no return call I will not go back, I even referred patients who have said the same thing and I will not refer anymore. Not to mention the long hold time just to schedule an appointment. It’s a shame it’s so hard to find a good family physician

Dr Duncan and Mr. Weaver do an outstanding job, however the rest of the staff have went down hill over the past few years, So much so that I have decided to start seeing another doctor’s office, I’m tired of being over billed and Unappreciated

This office is HORRIBLE! The ABSOLUTE ONLY one that seems to actually do their job and care about the patient are nurse Jacinto. I was told to get an xray for my child and they didnt send orders to the hospital after they said they would which meant I had to go to the office to pick it up. When I got back to the hospital, I found out they didn't fill it out correctly. They didnt put how many views or what kind.
The nurse at the hospital is CURRENTLY on the phone with them to ask how many and what kind of view. Doctor Kendrick's nurse is not giving the info requested. Instead she is saying I should have taken my child to another hospital because they would have known what to do.
The fact is, it doesn't matter where I would have taken my child (Dr Kendrick's nurse told me that I can take her to medical city alliance specifically because it's close), EVERYWHERE would need to know what kind of and how many views they needed to get!
Please stay far away. This is just the latest issue that I had with this office. There is ALWAYS something. Last year I found out they didn't have my child's shot records and never have. At that point, she had been a patient for 2 YEARS!

TERRIBLE. DON'T COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HERE ALL DAY AS WELL AS LEAVE WITHOUT ANY MORE KNOWLEDGE OR TREATMENT ABOUT WHY YOU MADE THE APPOINTMENT.

With that being said, I have been to this office twice and both times staff were completely incompetent and unprofessional. I saw P. A. Ryan Kendrick yesterday and left more confused than when I walked in. I came in trying to find out what was going since I had been sick, unable to get out of bed for three days. I came in for the appointment, he flu tested me said I was negative and said he sent some meds to the pharmacy? How do you prescribe medicine for something when apparently we both don't even know what's wrong? He never said I had a sinus infection, strep, nothing. He basically said "you don't have the flu go pick up your scripts and have a nice day. " Also, this simple appointment took two hours.

This is absolutely poor management. I have to wait 6 weeks before I can be scheduled to see Dr. Chacon, I choose to see him because my wife recommended him. I was scheduled to arrive by 11am, i left my work, drove for 30min and sat downwaiting to see the doctor. After spending 1hr 20min still waiting for the Doctor, I approached one of the Nurses and she told me I will need to wait nothing less than 45min because the doctor is seeing someone and there is someone else in front of me.i am like, so why was i scheduled for 11am. They offered to reschedule me quickly but i refused.
If the Doctor is good and the business lack co-ordination, that kind of business will eventually collapse because if people who value their time are treated that way, they will never return to patronize you again. My precious time was wasted after waiting patiently for so long. My wife told me they waste her time all the time but I did not really take it serious.
Don't ever use the clinic again, they are time waster and rubbish, they don't really care because their behavior has not been publicized. I will make sure a lot of people are aware of this.

**Don't use this clinic if your time is precious to you, they just make you sit down endlessly**

We found this office not to be helpful in the least bit. Tried to go in for a sick visit in the morning and were told to return at the end of the day. I would understand if this was not our family practitioner but I found them to be anything but helpful.

Dr. Duncan, Becky and all the other nurses and staff are absolutely wonderful! I have been going to Dr. Duncan since he first came to Heritage Trace and Dr. Duncan, Becky and his entire staff are hands down the best people I've ever seen! In fact, when I moved from Ft. Worth to Waco, I knew I wouldn't be able to find a better doctor's office, so I stayed with them and make the drive every time I need to see them, which is every few months. They're well worth the drive. The negative reviews I see on here are ridiculous and should be ignored. After all these years with Dr. Duncan, I cannot think of a single negative experience. Not only are they great people and health care providers, but I'm currently a "self-pay" patient (no insurance) and their rates are incredibly affordable. It's a pleasant surprise that it always ends up costing less than I'm expecting!

Good service and quality care, however when I made an appointment online it said that it would take 48 hours for someone to get back to me. I never received a phone call. I did get a call this morning saying I missed my appointment yesterday.and when i tried to tell the person on the phone that I was never notified to confirm this appointment, she dismissed me and just asked if I wanted to reschedule. Like I mentioned above, good doctors but I would to be notified of confirmation next time I request an appointment online.

I love this office and everyone who works here! I have never been treated with anything but respect and kindness. When I have to have labs done or need something ordered it gets done quickly and I don't have to wait long for the results. They are busy but they see A LOT of people so I understand about the wait and I've never had to wait more than 30 minutes go be seen. I have seen Dr. Duncan and Mr. Weaver and they have always sat down and actually listened to me. I have never felt like I was being rushed out or that I'm a nuisance. The nurses are amazing and super nice! The front staff have never been anything but courteous and sweet. Don't let the bad reviews make your decision for you. When you live in a city with over 850,000 people you can't expect to be the only one in need of medical attention. People generally post a bad review when they are upset but rarely a good review when they aren't.

Called several times and they do not answer, even waited for 20 mins on the phone. They usually accept walk-ins. So I took my baby and my 7 yr old there this morning and am told they might not accept walk-ins this morning because they’re busy. She then said just sign in and we’ll call you in, in a few minutes. I’m called 20 mins later, as I approach the desk she tells me “sorry you’ll have to schedule for tomorrow at 9. ” Why couldn’t they just tell me that when we first got there? And why couldn’t any of the four women I seen in the front answer the phone 6 mins after they opened? My kids are very ill and we traveled far and had to wait for nothing. This was not the first issue I had here, but I thought I’d give it another shot.

The last issue I had, I came in for a referral for my child’s foot and was told wait a few days if it persists just call, and we’ll give you the referral. It did persist, and when I called they would not allow me to speak with the physician and told me make another appointment. This place needs better staff training! Also, I provided my phone number as the manager was too busy to speak to me while I was in the office, and I have yet to receive a call still. So unprofessional!

No one returns phone calls. A few months ago i was supposed to get a referral to a Rhuematoligist. They gave me a referral to the one i asked not to go to. Someone was supposed to call me back with another referral, never did.

I'm very happy with the treatment I received at Healthfirst On Heritage Trace Pkwy. The whole staff was very nice and professional. Being this was my first visit, I expected to be there much longer than I actually was. Nice and clean office in a great location with a pharmacy literally right next door!
Definitely Recommended!

Because they can not keep their appointment, I'm considering another doctor.
My appointment was at 12: 00 pm, it's 1: 40 pm.
I'm falling asleep, I need to use the restroom. Where is the Dr? !
THANKS " Obama Care" because of the "Act" I have lost my previous insurance and a good Doctor!

Well, the doctor Chacón finally showed up around 1: 50. The experience was good

My appointment which I made a week ago was at 10: 15am I waited for an hour and a half yes 1 1/2 hr in the room and left since doctor never showed. They DO NOT HONOR appointments so if you have all the time in the world to wait this is the place for you. I walked out, will be changing doctor. My appointment was wIth Dr. CHACON.
