Doctor Texas MedClinic reviews
33It would have saved me time, money and a headache to have read the reviews of this place before I brought my son in to be seen. I ended up having to pay a $45 copay for nothing. The Doctor who saw my son, (J. Munoz) was terrible. He didn’t give us any diagnosis, couldn’t answer any questions and his bedside manner was horrible! So here we are with a very inconsolable sick toddler crying his eyes out and tugging on his ears because according to the doctor, he doesn’t have an ear infection. I will NEVER EVER come back here or recommend anyone come here.
Ouch. My cough is better but my wallet now hurts! $200 for a simple office visit. Service was fine but cost is 4X that of other clinics I’ve used in Austin.
S-L-O-W, and long wait to be seen. Office workers moved to the beat ohf their own drummer with no regard to ill patients. Once in we were seen by a 'DR' who spent more time shruggin his shoulders saying he didn't know what was going on when it was obvious my wife had Pneumonia. I'd avoid this money trap at all cost and go to a Private DR or ER if you are not feeling well.
Well I did go late at night, but the wait was so much better than at the ER to my closest hospital and better than having a big bill at the hospital. They were so nice too!
So I came back to get a refill on some pain medication for a workers comp injury. Used the online check in to get in line. Showed up before I was even supposed to to make sure I got seen at a decent time. That was at 11am it's now a quarter after 1 and all I got a lecture from the doctor about how to handle my case.
Have never went to a place that called me four times to check if I was all right! Never! Very caring staff!
Misdiagnosed child with a URI when the issue was meningitis. Rude staff, inefficient, no working telephone line, all other Drs were perplexed at how they could come up with a URI diagnosis for this particular issue. Never going here again.
Staff was friendly. I didnt wait more than 30 minutes. I was happy with their services. I will use them again.
Fast, professional, local, convenient, and affordable. A great addition to our health care system.
Walked in yesterday to the desk and first thing out of the receptionist mouth, " sign in, sit down, and wait for your number! " Not hi, hello, how are you. Wouldn't give me a chance to say a word. Extremely rude! No respect.
They took to long and could not find my preferred pharmacy. But care was sufficient and effective.
Just went to this clinic this morning. Front desk person was rude and curt and at one point rolled her eyes at me as I was wasting her time. It is clear why there are so many bad reviews for this clinic. Fortunately there are other clinics around that will be professional and compassionate.
I had originally gone to MedPost urgent care and was so upset with how I was ignored and discharged after a nurses took one glance at me. I decided to come to Med Clinic and couldn't of been more pleased with how I was treated. I was actually looked at by a dr and diagnosed correctly. I will be using this facility for any emergencys I have.
