Thai Ocha reviews
39Staff is great. The decor is really neat. The food used to be top notch. Recently I had a uber eats pad Thai and ordered the hottest. I barely tasted any heat and the dish tasted bland.
Very neat and convenient spot. They offer big meals and for economical prices. I enjoyed the food very much and the waiters were very personal and chatty. Highly recommended.
Yall are the best! Your food is amazing and well priced, and the staff is so sweet! I also really appreciate not having dine-in, and having signs being very straight forward about mask policies.makes the experience of being inside much safer! Love this place:)
Used to always eat at this place and recently ive noticed the food has no flavor anymore. I kept thinking and saying maybe bc they are busy but the more ive purchased the food there it becomes bland and flavorless. Pad see eww is nasty and soggy, so I switched to fried rice which had more flavor and now it became bland as well. I think they stopped tasting the food when making it and just put it all together. I will start going to the one next door from now on. I liked thai ocha bc you get more for what you paid for but its just bland.
The food was good and the service was excellent. I've had better Thai in DFW for less money, but it was definitely passable. I asked for a side of the entree fried rice to try it but all I got was bland rice with a few bits of egg - not worth the $. The Pad Thai was tasty, but could have used more flavor.
Don't let the small building deter you from stopping. Probably the best Thai food in Denton. If you like it spicy, don't let them stop you at level 5:). Good prices, good service, bring your own beer if you want to drink, and don't be shy if you have a large party. They will literally put together as many tables as it takes to accommodate you.
Young guy who worked their seems to hate it so service was terrible ppl having to ask for tables to be cleaned and cleared checks never being picked up you have to wave down for anything. Mild is way way too spicy made me sick they need to have a no spice option listed in menu for those sensitive. Noticed people walking out due to lack of being shown to a table. Not enough staff for busy days other options in Denton where wait might be longer but for an excellent reason they are better.
The best Thai food that I've ever had. Don't let the look of the building fool you. It's a very
clean, casual place, with a large menu, delicious food, good prices, and a wonderful staff.
I went during lunch, did not have a lunch special but ordered off the regular menu. The curry was good, though not an overly generous amount and it came with some white rice that was so so, the upgrade to brown rice created a surcharge on an already high-priced meal.casual atmosphere was more like a diner. Veggies were fresh, pork lean.
I had the Catfish Curry. Delicious but very spicy. Definitely go there again. The staff is courteous and polite. Fast service.
This was my first introduction to Thai food and I am hooked! I come here for work or with my family about once a week and I love that they serve their dishes with perfectly cooked tofu as a protein. It really helped me transition to vegetarianism, as finding meat subs at a restaurant is no easy task. Flavorful, fast, and super sweet workers.
If one more person asks me if everything is alright I swear to god I’m going to stop coming here for a few months. I eat here regularly enough to be recognized. I came here on purpose for the food. Do I owe an explanation of what it’s like to eat my food mid chew? It was nice until I kept getting interrupted.
The parking isn’t very good but this cozy Thai restaurant is a great spot to get some nice Thai food. I love the curry and everything taste pretty good. Also the staff is very nice and helpful. I make it a point to come here every time I visit Denton.
Came here for my birthday and had my favorite Rat Na (aka Lard Na)! Very comfy place and amazing authentic taste. It's small, but has big flavor! Make sure to make a reservation if you have a group!
I love this place. Amazing appertizers, best crab langoon and tasty spring rolls. Come try their yellow curry, orange chicken. REALLY THE BEST.
We enjoy to eat sesame chicken signature and crab cake. We ate crab cake at lobster restaurant before so it is fair. We tried to taste carb cake better than a lobster restaurant
I love this place. Food tastes so good, and very reasonably priced, and servers were so kind and courteous. Not only main dishes but appetizers and deserts were so uniquely tasty and looking so cool too. You got to definitely try out.
We've been eating here for years- hands down my FAVORITE restaurant. The quality is impeccable every single time and the staff is friendly! We probably eat at Thai Ocha 2-3 times a month.
Very rude. My curry dinner came out way to Spicey. Waa not told that it had a certain level spice to it and extra was added. When asked to exchange it they were not very willing. Came back another time at 830 and they told me they stop seating at 830. There were other people in the restaurant and they would not seat us. Prior to these to episodes we tried this place 2 other times and the food was good but the service not so good. Not very welcoming
We really love this place. But DON'T order your food to-go. We made that mistake several times before we figured out they just can't pull off delivery or to-go. The food gets thrown in the boxes filled half way with water and all the flavor is steamed/boiled away.
