The Boiling Crab reviews
38Food is always good here, and service is really friendly. The atmosphere is fun and different. It's certainly an interesting location for family and friends, and maybe if you're looking for an Extremely casual business setting. The only thing to be wary of is wait times. It can get extremely busy around lunch and dinner time, so I suggest visiting during more unconventional meal times.
Crab, shrimp, crawfish boil, Cajun style with the expected sides. It's a good way to spend an evening. If you're getting to know someone, wearing a bit and sharing a crab legs cracker will definitely get you past any pretensions
This place is a must go for seafood lovers! Every bite was seasoned to perfection from the crab to the giant succulent shrimp! Just dont think you'll leave this place without getting your hands dirty
First time in Texas and this was our first stop. Ummmmm ummmmm good! Beyond good! You haven't had good seafood until you've tried this seafood boil. Whatever you do get the whole shabang seasoning yesssssss!
Amazing food! Reasonable prices! There are no off peak times so prepare to wait to get in.we waited 1.5 hours but it was well worth it. Wonderful service as well. If you can't wait, you can call in your to-go order and pick it up.
If you dont mind getting your hands dirty and want some good food, then this is the perfect place for you.
Great joint for crawfish/shrimp served in-a-bag! Also tried the fried catfish - personnally prefer the shrimp!
I will always give the Boiling Crab 5 stars! Best seafood in Dallas hands down. That's it. No comparison. If you don't believe me, try it!
Amazing recipe (Shebang flavor) very easy to order. Great seafood. We've ate at the California one originally and was happy to know we had one in Texas. It's worth the wait.very popular place.
Great location for delicious seafood.fell in love with this place from the 1st taste.certainly worth going back to.
This place is great if you’re a seafood lover. The wait is usually long, especially on weekends, but it’s definitely worth it. The shrimp, crab legs, crawfish are delicious and the Whole She’bang sauce they serve is amazing. It’s a 45 minute drive from where I live and it was my first time trying this place and will definitely be coming back soon.
My favorite restaurant ever, I have been going here for over 5 years. Their prices have gone up a lot and they are on the verge of getting 4 stars if they go up another penny
Highly Disappointed. Went with 5 adults a toddler and an infant. They waitress put the order in for everyone except for my toddler daughter and myself. We sat and watched the rest of the party eat for 25 min before our food was brought out. On top of that they charged 18% gratuity. After paying, the waitress forgot to give me back my card. The food is about 3 stars and the service is one. So I gave them two stars!
So we got there around 6.30p and the wait was 1.5 hours. So after the time pass I went to host and he said I was next. After 5 minutes he called 3 other groups. I go there and he is going to say oh we skipped over you but that was only like 10 minutes ago. I almost jumped across that stand at him. I don't care how long it was if you skip over me apologize. He made it as if because he sat 3 other ppl before me it was okay. He tried it.
Great food and friendly staff, parking was the only issue. Overall loved this place, will be back soon.
I used to love the one in San Diego but the one here in Dallas doesn't match up.the oysters weren't that creamy here and I couldn't finish the crawfish for the first time ever. It was not bad by any standards but the one in San Diego set my bars too high.
Roll up your sleeves, wear a bib, get your money's worth of quantity and don't sulk about quality. Occasional indulgence in a small or big group is truly good for one's spirits.
A RIP OFFFFFF - I feel sooo ashamed for myself that I let this place trick me into thinking that I was getting two pounds of crab legs for $44 dollars when all I got was two medium sized clusters! It was a take out and I was BOILING MADDDD when I got home to see the trickery that was made. The check clearly states 1.1 pounds - REALLY one cluster? BLACK PEOPLE BE AWARE YOU'RE GETTING RIPPED OFF!
