The Home Depot, Richardson TX

Great company. Needed to return a gas powered hedge trimmer and they took it back with no issues. Trimmer was good product but it didn't meet my needs.

Staff is always helpful and greet you when you come in. You don't have to spend time trying to locate something they help you get what you need.

I have been renting machines from Home Depot locations all over the DFW. I had the unpleasant experience of dealing with an employee that did not know their policies. I handed him my ID that was issued in Dallas Texas but is a Mexican passport. He looks at it, rolls his eyes then point at the sign and says “we don’t take this here read the sign” the sign says “we only take valid I. D’s” never did it say it had to be a U. S ID. I kept telling him that no other Home Depot location has given me this hard of a time to rent a machine and they have all taken my I. D. He proceeded by saying “well sorry I’m not taking it here”. I left and have never been back to another Home Depot store. I felt discriminated against and talked down on. Train your EMPLOYEES ON CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND MAKE SURE THEY KNOW THEIR POLICIES.

The employee that helped me was well informed about the product I was looking for. He helped me find a few items, which greatly cut down on the time I needed to spend in the store.

The best Home Depot in the entire DFW area. They offer the best customer experience. Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly, and they always seem to have a little better selection than the other stores.

The first home improvement store to resemble a warehouse. This is a good business for pros and homeowners to find tools and items to repair/update your castle.to get your home in top condition.

Too often it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find an employee to help you. For example, today I had to flag down 3 employees, the first two of which paged for someone else to help me but nobody came, the third said he couldn’t help me but then reluctantly did help. I needed more of an item from an upper shelf, so it wasn’t advice that I was looking for which would most certainly be more difficult to find.

Come on, Home Depot, you can do better. Please.

Everybody was helpful I found some good deals but the electrical section for tools has nothing good

Helpful and nice employees, it has rental section and you can rent for 15-25 bucks for 4 hours. I got impact driver from there.

I called them on the phone to make sure that they had what I needed they were the only homedepot out of three that I called that cared to actually check. When I got to the store they had exactly what they said they did

I used Design Remodel Pros for a bathroom remodel. All I had to do was go to Home Depot, and a knowledgeable bathtub guy explained me the differences between acrylic and porcelain. I picked a reasonably priced, beautiful bathtub. We also got our toilet from here. A toilet expert talked through with us the differences.
We've lived in our first home for 18 years and it had the original everything so getting questions answered helped.

John M in the rental area was rude and obstinant. I recomend another location. This is my first bad experience with Home Depot.

Great and helpful people. Can be difficult to find them though as they are always occupied with people asking questions, but hey that's what they are there for.

I think every home project always takes 2-3 trips to home Depot as I always get the wrong items (due to self error), but I eventually get it right and home Depot has the stuff I need at a reasonable price.

Probably the best store for general home improvement. Not always the cleanest, but usually the best prices for non-surplus goods. Great return policy, staff has been very attentive the last few months. Wish they would stock appliances instead of delivering them. I would buy if I didn't have to wait and schedule a time.

It's a store you buy stuff at that's what I did I bought stuff at the store what more you want to know

Item I went for showed had 23 in stock. Got to store and there were none! Happens way too often.

Great place to shop and work. Love it hear come out on the first Saturday of every month for workshop with your children.
