Office staff is completely negligent. When asked a simple question they provide incorrect info. This blunder cost me upwards of $1500. Any future residents should know that even if there is a global pandemic, the Saxony will still charge you for amenities you cannot use. I hope you like hearing your neighbors at all hours of the day, the walls and floors/ceilings are paper thin. The gates are broken more often than not so don't get used to any kind of security. Cars get broken into often here and of course the one time I left my wallet in my car, it was stolen. No joke. If you enjoy throwing you money away to a greedy un-sympathetic landlord, the Saxony is the place for you!

This place is terrible. Do yourself a favor and look for another home. Emily is the most unpleasant, unprofessional and rude person in the customer service industry that I have ever talked to. I was in desperate need of an apartment and she refused to wait 2 more minutes to see me so she literally complained over the phone that she had to see me. It was such a terrible thing for her to sell another lease. What would the manager say? I hope they know that their lease agents customer service is the worse thing any company can have in the front of the house. I can’t even start to imagine living here and deal with her all the time. So glad she showed what my entire experience would have been from the very beginning, and saved me the headache. Emily, please work on your professional skills, and management, please pay attention to what people have to say. It is ridiculous.

Convenient location, but horrible office staff. If you have a problem it is their lowest priority. Also cars and mailboxes get broken into.

Need a convenient location right next to many shopping markets and 1-75 Saxony is definitely the place to live. I have not had an issues with my apartment so far! Definitely recommend living here. It is super quiet and maintenance is amazing!

Emaleigh was amazinggggg, very helpful and made my decision so helpful. I’m so excited to move in to my apartment in September. The community is beautiful and homey. If you go and visit make sure to ask for Emaleigh such a beautiful person inside and out!

I recently went to this property when searching for a new home. They have a wonderful staff and were extremely helpful. The location is ideal for me as it is only a quick drive away from both Highway 75 and Sam Rayburn. They have so many amenities on their property such as fitness center, beautiful pool, playground and a business center. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family.

My favorite part about the Saxony was the trustworthy maintenance men. I worked from home so I saw them often. Apartments were quaint and needing things fixed in my apartment didn't take long to get resolved. They have washers and dryers which is a plus. The longer I was there I did feel the crowd changed a lot, but I would still recommend these apartments to a friend.

My husband and I have lived with the Saxony for about nine years now. The staff is friendly and maintenance has been great. We really haven’t had many issues during our stay. We live near the pool area and parking garage. I can honestly say we have never had a problem finding parking and generally always get a covered space! The area is great with tons of restaurants and shopping. We have really enjoyed calling Saxony home!

Dude I haven’t even been here a month and I’ve had to put in 7 work orders, of which only three have been completed. I’ve been waiting since July 9 for many of these issues to be fixed. This place is falling apart. And the office staff is blasé about everything. Super disappointed with the way this played out. Definitely will not renew.

Lived here 3 years: Asked for extension to turn in rental renewal one week later. Shannon in the front office stated that it would be fine. Received charge for ~$500 after leaving because rental renewal turned in late. Told by management company that the manager did not have the authority to approve extension. Paid it and documented experience here.

The management doing a very poor job. We pay for gated apartment since the gate is always open and they send us emails that becareful a car was stolen and blah blah blah. Last week someone stole my locked bicycle. There is a hole on the road as soon as you enter from Montfort dr, that hole cost me $300 to change my car tire. I've been living around the world and the US so far this is the worst subdivision ever!

DO NOT MOVE HERE! EVERYTHING SEEMS GREAT BUT ONCE YOU MOVE IN IT IS A NIGHTMARE FROM HELL! Moved here in September 2017 and CANNOT WAIT TO LEAVE. I STILL HAVE MAINTENANCE ISSUES FROM MY MOVE IN CHECK LIST THAT HAVE NOT BEEN FIXED. WHEN I MOVED IN I WAS ALLERGIC TO MY APARTMENT FOR 3 MOS BC IT HAD CAT GAIR EVERYWHERE AS WELL AS CAT FOOD IN THE CLOSET. SO DISCUSTING! THE MAIDS NEVER SHOWED AFTER BEING PROMISED 4 TIMES THEY WOULD COME. THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF MY REVIEW I WILL CONTINUE TO POST THE REST OF MY STORY. WARNING DO NOT MOVE HERE!

I still live in Saxony and I do like it. Gym they have is great as swimming pool also. All shops and restaurants are walking distance from there. Price is also very reasonable for area. For three years living did not have any problem. When my washer broke get new one in seven days. All my maintenance requests are done properly and best part you can do everything online. Parking is like parking elsewhere. If you come at night there is huge garage in middle of property that has enough space.

Cassidy has been awesome during my application process and has expeditiously answer any of my questions, she made this process such a pleasant experience, I'm loving the office staff at this time.

DO NOT Move
I have been living in this apartment complex for a yr and 6 month, in this time spam, someone stole shoes from our balcony, my brand new Nissan Murano was stolen from the property because the gates are constantly broken, and a week and a half later after that, someone forced the door on the apartment next to mine because there was a sofa sitting outside waiting for my neighbor to move in. When I went to the office to tell the manager, Shannon, she was like "ohhh the apartment is vacant, so it doesn't matter". It has gotten pretty bad, I was so terrified I had my apartment full of cameras and a brand new alarm system from simplisafe. The week of 12/11/17 I reported there was a leak coming from the apartment on top of mine in the laundry room, they came and fixed it in like 5 days, BUT they left the washer and dryer in the middle of the hallway blocking the entrance to the apartment, after like 5 days of reporting it to the manager and the manager constantly lying about it getting fixed, I called the emergency line for someone to come fix all of that mess, this happened 12/16. When the guy finally put the washer and dryer in it's place, he broke the on button for the dryer, I MOVED OUT ON 1/2/2018 AND IT IS STILL BROKEN. I am not even going to start to mention the ripoff for breaking your lease early after so many bad experiences.
Do yourself a favor and move elsewhere, and definitely do not believe a word of what the office manager, SHANNON, tells you.

I'll start with the most serious issue with the Saxony apartment, which is that they violate multiple federal laws in their application and living process. As someone with special needs and as a real estate attorney, I see this all the time, so I've come to expect it, but the Saxony is in a special class of its own. As an applicant, they have ridiculous and excessive documentation requirements, including multiple interviews even after sending them doctor's reports of your condition. Then, they institute pet policies and attempt to apply them to service animals, which is a direct ADA violation under the reasonable exception law. I've already filed an ADA discrimination complaint for their horrendous behavior, and I have a meeting with HUD officials to discuss their history of behavior, but if you have special needs, I highly recommend looking elsewhere because they don't want you here.

As for the apartment, well, I live directly across from a drug dealer so my apartment smells like weed all of the time and I hear knocking/yelling throughout the day and night as users look for their dealer. It's ridiculous. Of course the complex does nothing about it.

The gym is an absolute joke. Anyone who says different has never been or is a Richdale employee. All the equipment is 10+ years old and in poor condition. They don't even offer basic equipment like a bench press or a squat rack. No barbells, and the dumbbells only go to up 50lbs. All of this is included in your $40 "amenity" package that they won't mention until you're signing your lease.

The parking spaces are incredibly small and for some reason they've installed curb stops when they already have curbs, so getting in and out is even more difficult. You'll undoubtedly be nicked by someone. I've been here less than a month and have found 3 new marks on my car.

I was told my apartment would have carpet, which is better suited for my service animal, but of course, when I first open the door, it's hardwood. So he's had to be retrained to be able to do his requirements with a different flooring setup because hardwood presents problems for his tasks. Would've been great to have not been lied to.

They have an absolutely ridiculous package pickup system. They don't allow door to door deliveries, so I hope you enjoy leaving work early or using your lunch break to stop by the office because your package will never be home when you get here. It's also a ridiculous check in check out package system, but they normally forget to check your package out so you will get multiple emails "reminding" you of a package that you picked up days ago. It's a terrible system that's inconvenient for the residents and causes unnecessary work for the employees and only results in frustration for everyone.

Overall, terrible apartments with terrible policies. You shouldn't even bother looking here. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming lawsuits with them as it will be a great opportunity to improve the living conditions for other people with needs. Good luck finding somewhere else to live.

Not a beautiful place any more. I am staying here for last 3 years and recently things are changed a lot. Crime rate is high in this neighborhood. Somebody has stolen my car few months back. Multiple cars theft has been reported. If you want to stay here, make sure to add a GPS tracking security system in your car.

No complaints thus far. I've been here a few months and the staff and management has been excellent. Any maintenance work has happened in a timely manner. The apartment complex is well groomed and my neighbors are very friendly.

I will continue to update.

I lived at the Saxony for almost four years. I truly enjoyed the time I spent at the apartment complex. It has a nice pool, fitness center with racket ball, and beautiful landscaping. I only moved because they have not updated their kitchens yet. However, if you live on the first floor at least they've updated these apartments with laminate flooring.

We have lived in many apartment communities in Dallas and The Saxony and it's Management Company is by far the best! Not only is the Community Manager extremely committed to doing what is right by the tenants, her staff is so responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We love the apartment, the management, the area, etc! Nothing but the best experience thus far!
