Tink-A-Tako (Tezel Rd.) reviews
34Tacos were meh. Waitress was rude. And they charge for take out cups. Seriously, who charges for a "to go" cup.
Definitely a upscale Tex-Mex restaurant, prices are $3-$6 above normal mom and pop places. I only had a breakfast plate and received the same amount of food as other places. I did hear and viewed tacos were well stuffed but did not try them personally. The service was great but no checkup or refills after dropping off the check and please check the cups, more so the coffee cups, because mine had stains all around it and I didn’t noticed till I got my first refill. I would visit again simply to try a $3-$4 taco and see what that is all about.
You ratings are low because you charge so many crazy amounts to eat there well you aren’t going to rip people off anymore because lots of people will read all these bad reviews. People don’t spend your hard earned money eating here it’s doing down food ain’t that good anyway!
The food they do serve is very good, just disappointed there are no chimichangas, burritos, taquitos or gortas on the menu.
They don't read the special instructions.
Ordered thru ubereats stated I wanted corn tortillas for my menudo and got flour.
My wife and I have always supported this local business but lately they have fallen off. My last 2 phone in orders have been wrong. 1st time they blamed us for the mistake, saying that my wife ordered the wrong thing. The 2nd I went through the order twice and they still got it wrong, forgot bacon on 2 tacos and charged me for an extra taco I didn't order. There are a few other things that they've messed up on but we always gave them a pass because the pandemic. We really loved this place and I'm sad they suck now
My family and I have been coming to this place for over 10 years. Recently we have had bad experience after bad experience. I'm sorry to say 2020 will be the last year we support this business. Customers are often blatantly ignored. When they are busy, they are severely understaffed. This causes long wait times and bad service. You'll be lucky if you even get your food. Prices on some items with meat went up 50% during the pandemic. These price changes have remained even though beef prices have gone down. They obviously just want to take advantage of the community and are using the pandemic as an excuse to do so. We wouldn't notice the average food and the expensive prices so much if the service was better! This place needs help and better management! They never cease to disappoint! Don't waste your time here! If you like poor service, average food, and expensive prices this is the place!
This restaurant is AMAZING and so incredibly well priced. Great family friendly atmosphere and everything is made from scratch. I’ve been here several times and try something new almost every time I come, and I have yet to get something that i didn’t like. Great place to eat at, or even take to go if you’re in a rush.
Had to flag down the busboy cause none of the waiters were paying attention to our table. The customer at the next table said she was at our table and said that she was ignored too while she sat at table we were at.we ordered menudo, the picture on the menu shows honeycomb type but we got what smelled like unwashed tripe, was untrimed with large chunks of fat without homony.
It was alright, it was busy but it also seemed like the staff had too many tables to take care of individually. For the price, I would rather go to Palenque Grill. Maybe a different time of day would be different, but the meat quality and taste of the Parrillada was still not great.
Hands down the BEST Potato and chorizo (the ONLY true) breakfast tacos I have ever had. Their salsa verde is hand made from scratch, add a little to your tacos and you’ll cry from pure unadulterated joy in your heart.
Very expensive tacos for the size. They have gotten so cheap. They make the tacos so skinhs now and charger you for cilantro, onions and kime. Plus the lady at the register is so ride. Never coming back here again.
We went for lunch great service and price just right loved sweet tea and felt like a great family place very busy during lunch it was pouring rain that day but still was great
I ordered the same thing as I had the last time I had dinner before but waiter screwed up order when I notified him he said I would have to charge me for the first order and the second order
The Fajita meat had a spoiled taste. Tried to give a couple of pieces to my dogs and they took a sniff, then ran away from it.
I gave this place three chances, and each time was horrible. Eat here at your own risk.
Since me and my wife moved 1 mouth ago down the street we started coming here and you know how you go to a restaurant the first time and the foods good and the second time it's not so well this place doesn't fit in that category it's been good since day 1 and keeps getting better.
Very good food, ordered rice, beans, menudo nd a dozen tortillas to go and it was all very hot and fresh
Good solid taco joint. Got tacos to go and I was pretty happy with them. Not blown away, but very good.
Super food, amazing staff. We have a large group that meets here weekly. Always fast and always good
This used to be my preferred place to eat but the quality of food & service has diminished greatly.
