Love this place, every one of them is like a Flagship Specs and the pricess you cannot beat. Always nice, modern stores. They never run out of my whiskey brands.

The staff here is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. They know when to leave you alone and let you shop and when to step in and help.

Color me unimpressed by the customer service at this location.

I went here today looking for a somewhat obscure red blend from Arizona. I wondered around in the store for a bit before I stopped and talked with one young man who didn't even know what section that I should look in. He told me that they do not categorize by region but by varietal and referred me to another associate who seemed to be busy with another customer. I decided to look again for their red blend section and after 5 minutes I found someone who knew what I was talking about and he led me to the correct section. I thanked him and took my bottle to checkout. Normally I would not leave a bad review for this kind of experience, but what followed at the checkout counter definitely earned the rating I am about to give.

The lady at the counter was not friendly at all. She did not greet me, she just took my bottle and punched something in on her computer. When she appeared to have problems there, she took it to another computer. She didn't even bother to inform me what was going on and that there would be a wait. 5 minutes later, I am finally able to pay with my credit card. 15 minutes wasted for what should have been like only 5 minutes to purchase a $40 bottle of wine.

I didn't detect any shade at me for my own ethnicity (unlike what I got at the Office Depot up in The Woodlands, I'll never go there again), but based on some of the other reviews for this location as well as my negative experience here, I can see why those customers left frustrated and felt that way.

My fault was expecting the same level of customer service that I received at the Humble location. I will probably not return to this location again.
