Twisted Root Burger Co. Waco reviews
32This place has always been a great place to enjoy one of the best burgers you’ll ever have. Yet miss fear is pretty awesome and the selections of sides and condiments goes perfectly with the burgers. If you’re ever in Waco and you have power between the lunch hour and dinner hour, we recommend that’s the time to go. Otherwise the lines will be too long If you’re on a time crunch. Highly recommend this location for burgers.
Got there about 7: 45 on a Friday night. The place was packed. The only (clean) table was right by the door. Every time someone came in or out, I was blinded by the sun. Finally moved to a dirty table and cleaned it ourselves. Bartenders were busy watching TV. Had to speak loudly twice to get their attention. I ordered the bison burger, the sign said all burgers we're cooked medium well. Mine was definitely well done -dry and rather hockey puckish and too small for the bun. They did have Deep Ellum Dallas blond and the fries were good but this place is way over priced for the quality & quantity. $7.50 for a beer and $16. + for the burger & fries. Definitely better burger joints in Waco.
Delicious! Really enjoyed the Spicy Goat! Atmosphere is great too. Traveling for work and would definitely come back here again on my next trip.
Very good food. I particularly like the three sauces available (chipotle ketchup, bbq, and horseradish dijon mustard). They desperately need more tables though.
Amazing food. Cool atmosphere. Not a great place for kids tables are high and the restaurant is loud. It was also packed when we went for lunch. It also has unusual meats to try I got the elk burger.
Not my cup of tea. The food was overly salty. The hamburger buns was cold. A smaller (less than 8 ounces) patty size would be nice. The milkshake had an artificial aftertaste. Not worth waiting in line to order.
Awesome experience.great service outstanding burgers and fries.a bit pricier than most but well worth it
Great Spicy Goat burger, onion strings, and banana & Bailey's shake. Breezy and rustic atmosphere with projectors playing awesome selection of music from a variety of genres and times.
Pretty damn cool. Burgers are really good. Kinda a weird setup. I wanted a draft beer but wasnt sure how you counter ordered yet there was a bar. Anyway th2 good was pretty good. Really cool atmosphere!
RIP OFF! Overcooked pattie small bun, one little piece of lettuce and tomato. $7.50! But they did have pickles. I Will NEVER go back
Was very good, the atmosphere was very chill, family & still could go for a couple of beers I loved the fact they had different types of pickles flavors!
Everything was great. Definitely would go again we stopped by we were just coming back from the Cameron park zoo.
The meat is locally raised, grass fed. Which is beneficial because that means that you are not consuming hormones or any other toxic thing that animals are shot up with nowadays. However, for the price the burgers were over cooked. On the bright side the shakes were outstanding creamy and delicious. Made from custard not ice cream.
