VCA Spring Branch Animal Hospital, Houston TX

Dr. Grana has been treating the "boys" for many years. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate and just a great all round person. Would recommend her and VCA Spring Branch to anyone with confidence.

When you make an appointment, it’s to avoid waiting more than 30 minutes.even with an appointment they make you wait a long time.and their response when you ask them why it takes so long for them to receive you is frustrating.

Vet was great! The front desk messed up checking out so much! First time went there, gave me the wrong calculations for prices （over-charged me like 500% for the price I should be paying. I had a discount from SPCA for first-time visiting). Second time the staff sent the wrong info for payment. Oh come on it is not that hard.

Nice staff but overpriced. I was charged over 100 for a checkup and / core vaccines. I went to another clinic the same day with my other baby and got her heart worm tested, exam, core vaccinations as well as flea and tick med for less. Definitely won’t be going back here. I had a plan with them and still I ended up paying a lot of money, plans don’t transfer between clinics either. You have to pay for a new one. Other than these issued they were nice, and professional, but sadly not affordable.

Our vet was okay, but the technician was extremely rude and I will not be going back. The prices are very high and instead of intruding themselves and petting my puppy and giving her treats, they muzzled her. I do not want my puppy having issues with vets so I will be taking her somewhere else. And I am not going to pay high prices to be disrespected by the technician. She was argumentative and rude to me and my 3 year old son. My son is definitely not used to that kind of treatment. I actually had to ask her if she was mad at me about something because of her attitude.

Great staff! Friendly and always interested in the well-being of their patients and pet parents!

First of all I want to thank Dr. Guirguis for doing such a great job on our Bassett hound Zeus' surgery. Our dog had suffered a really nasty bite and it was beginning to necrotize. If it hadn't been for Dr. Guirguis and the rest of the team idk what would have happened. I would also like thank Dr. Stone who was also involved in the process among other vets who were taking care of Zeus. I would definitely recommend. Again thank you so much for making every post op visit so welcoming and informative. Zeus' is now healing amazingly and a happy little doggy.

Very nice and clean place to bring your pet. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Tou can tell they really care for your pet and have the best interests in mind for them.

I personally do not use this vet but after today's experience with them I couldn't help but leave a positive review. I accompanied my grandmother to put down her sweet dog, Gracie, due to kidney failure. While this process is always hard VCA made it so much easier and I so greatly appreciate the sympathy they showed. Miss Gracie has been coming to this clinic since she was a puppy and they've done nothing but be friendly and helpful to my grandmother. I can honestly say this is one of the most compassionate and helpful vet clinics I've ever been to. The nurses were patient and sweet, as was the vet herself and they had kind words of reassurance and condolences for my family. They took care in the whole procedure and even were so kind as to walk us out to our cars afterwards. I am so sad this clinic is not closer because I would definitely use them. However, if you are so lucky as to live near them please use them! You wont regret it, and they will care for your pets as their own. Thank you VCA Spring Branch!

The dog was running around outside the clinic just fine before going in. By the time the appointment was through a referral was made to Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists and the poor dog needed to be placed in an oxygen chamber for FOUR days. I don't know what was administered at VCA or why the dog was laid flat to aspirate her mucous but the bill at the thieving/leeching GCVS ran just slightly under $11,000.00, thanks to whatever the dog was administered and how she was handled. So tired of veterinary incompetence in Houston!

First time here and we are absolutely delighted! We took our cat, Benji, for an upper respiratory infection and the first visit was free! Our vet tech was Mario and he was great and gave us a free dosage of Revolution flea meds as a Christmas present, as well as a laser and some cat food! Dr. Robin McConaughey saw our cat and she was so great with Benji and seemed genuinely concerned about his wellbeing. She did a great job explaining to us what was happening with his respiratory issues. The ladies at the front desk were great, super friendly and got us in quickly. Nothing but the best! We will be returning

I started going here recently due to an aggressive infection in my rats ear. I very quickly felt at ease with the place and felt i could trust them. They were very caring and honest about my pets care. I gladly reccomend Dr. Schweiss to anyone looking for an exotic vet

Great service & experienced vets, but much more expensive than other vets for the same services. I had to find a different vet for my girl's spay ($400+? No way). But I'll continue to take my kitty here for check-ups and things.:)

The staff and the veterinarian were so friendly and helpful. They wer very knowledgeable and also gave us some free stuff for our first visit. I would totally recommend this location to anyone with new furbabies

Had a great experience with my first cat check up! They followed up with my test results promptly as well.

Of course we don't like having to take our Lab to the vet but VCA have been brilliant with her. Dr Dagher inparticular has been great with Poppy and you can tell genuinely cares about her. She follows up with messages out of hours to check up on her. Thanks so much!

Always fast and friendly staff. Very professional and knowledgeable veterinarians. Clean environment. My dog was spayed there and everything was a success. She did not appear to be in any pain or distress post procedure.
