WatersEdge Apartments, Denton TX

I am just a bit nervous. I recently visited a friend who lives there and the three times that ive been there we have spotted.water moccasins snakes! First time there were two large ones by the rocks and what looks to be a "waterfall" 2 & 3x it was a baby one coming out of the rocks near the edge of the pond. I am just afraid for residents and thier children. They atleast need to be warned! I notice children run around and play near the area where we spotted them! I've also seen families fish out there. STAFF PLEASE WARN YOUR RESIDENTS!

Great atmosphere, well kept. Super staff and monthly activities. Nice floor plans and pleasant neighborhood.

Lived there for 4 years

Wall in the shower collapsed every other month. AC unit constantly ran even when it was cold outside; it constantly needed attention. Car in PAID FOR car port was towed by the ever so shady towing company they contract with. Car was damaged. Both the office and the tow company played dumb when it turned out it was a paid for spot.

Rent was cheap, it was close to work, the maintenance folk while super overworked, were always professional and kind. The office staff, while nice, weren't particularly helpful. Can't speak to the new office staff, except when I asked why they were raising my rent 20% they told us it was to remodel our apartment.

It's okay if you're broke and can't afford better, the people are nice and keep to their selves. No crime to speak of. But get insurance. A coworker of mine had her apartment flood. I had another neighbor have their upstairs flood above them. If mosquitoes love you, don't get a unit by the ponds because they used to just get low and stagnant.

We moved here in 2015 and new managment took over in 2016. There didn't seem to be much change except for how rent was calculated. The prices are decent and staff is friendly. We haven't had a problem with any neighbors or the complex. The area is super convenient and safe. Only issues are the toilets lack flushing power so it may take multiple tries and the water heaters are small so getting a hot bath is difficult, no problem with a shower though.

The BEST apartment complex in Denton. It's so quite and the neighbors are so nice. The staff and maintenance are so friendly! We love Nikki, the assistant manager, she is ALWAYS so KIND, CARING and Very HELPFUL, she needs a RAISE! She always makes sure to answer all of your questions and provide you with specific details! My husband and I Definetly recommend these apartments, and if you are interested ask for Nikki, she is so sweet and will definitely help you! Thank you Nikki!

This place is a scam. They get you to apply and pay their fee then purposely take over 24 hours (so your hold expires) to process your app so they can increase the rent on your unit unless you put down a deposit. The office is very unprofessional.

The Property Manager at this living community has ZERO Customer Service Skills and lacks Professionalism to an even greater degree. I know someone that lives there and on their recommendation i took the time to go into the office and inquire about availability. I asked if they happened to have anything available the following month and she literally LOOKED ME DEAD IN THE EYES AND LAUGHED IN MY FACE. I walked out knowing I had dodged a bullet.
