YMCA at O.P. Schnabel Park reviews
31Our family always enjoyed the activities available to us. We utilized the gym mostly, but made a handful of visits to the pool. We've since become members at a gym that's closer to home. Zero complaints about this Y.
My son plays U8 soccer on a league here and my husband and I coach. We love it, it is so much better than the NYS league we did last season! The staff are very nice and very helpful all the time, the facilities are nice and the parking is more than adequate (theres field parking in the back). We didnt want to become members because of the high membership fee but the more time we spend there, the more we reconsider it! A park, a gym, sports, a pool, and free childcare.its a pretty good deal!
My family joined the YMCA after stopping by to sign my son up for "after care. " We had looked for gyms we could use as a family; however, the prices were crazy. Customer service was great - the front desk staff answered all of my questions and took me on a tour of the grounds and explained the classes and activities she thought my family would benefit from. This YMCA did cost a little more than others but it is worth the price difference.
Awesome childcare workers, staff always helpful and understanding. Classes are pretty good, pool and splash pad are clean even in busy times. Equipment is well maintained and cleaned regularly. There has never been a time where I couldn't ask for help and get some immediately. Best gym for me, and everyone else I have gone with.
Our 18 month old really enjoyed the playground. She also had fun walking the trails with her folks. Very convenient location and it wasn't too crowded even on a saturday afternoon. We'll kepp coming back, insha'Allah.
Not perfect, which many complain about. But overall it is really fun especially for kids! The pool and splash pad is my favorite.
Outdoors! My children attended several camps over the summer as well as visits with grandparents but wit little time outside. Sure it's hot, but not all day! Ymca did a good job at keeping the kids safe. Before the week started they were whining about the idea of being outside all day. By the end of the week they didn't want to leave.
My family has loved everything we have done at the Y! Swimming, water park, soccer league, workout, child care, everything!
The open swim is ridicules. Never in the morning. Always closed for swim lessons. Even in the afternoon some days only from 1pm to 3;45. Than close for camp swimming etc. There is only very few hours where you can actually swim. So if you are not off work between 1pm and 3 pm you are out of luck. I pay to much to not even be able to use the pool. Swimming lessons for kids is great. But they do not have to be every single morning. I will be leaving this Y.
Awesome trails for MTB. Consisting of Rocky points, a few drops, and inclines. Overall pretty kool ride.
They have really good outdoor facility and workers, and the guy named kevin was very helpful with anything i needed
