First and foremost let’s start with the fact that this would be an excellent company to work with only if they replace upper management starting with the supervisor and stopping at the director along with VP. This company before I interviewed virtually and was offered a position which I accepted. I reviewed the reviews and I was very skeptical.

But my fellow citizens you never lead me wrong you were right. This is a company that is extremely clicky they run in a group so upper management makes you feel like an outcast at this company and not welcomed which is bad for business. I had high hopes of staying here moving forward with my career goals but the experience with upper management lead to my Resignation within a two-week period.

As well as a fellow colleague who left my training class of just seven people. It is no coincidence the reviews not only on Indeed.com but on Glassdoor most complaints/comments are based on upper management that means it’s time to fire a few people. Take heed to the advice so that you can improve the well-being of Progress Residental. As well as your reputation. I would not recommend this employer to anyone at this time.

Progress had been great. Been with them for three years. When I had issues with the home they were prompt and friendly and apologized for the inconvenience. If I decide to rent in future it will be with Progress.

Progress makes it easy to pay rent online as well as request for service to be done at your home. I like that I do not have to call and get put on hold for non emergency services. It is so easy to take care of everything from the website.

Progress Residential has been a breath of fresh air during these difficult times of the Pandemic. I was extremely worried about how we were going to take care of everything until my job situation stabilized. Progress Residential has been patient and understanding. Our family is glad that we made the choice to rent with Progress!

This is the best rental company I have ever been with. When covid happen and I lost my job they really worked with me. They report my payments to the credit bureau. The houses are so clean and low maintenance. They are quick to answer phone and fix things. I have no complaints at all.

I’ve read the bad reviews but I’ve been renting my home from Progress for 3 years and have never had an issue. The local repair team is always responsive and works with me to take care of the few minor issues I’ve needed help with at my convenience. Pay your rent on time and I think you will have the same positive experience as me.

THEY WILL KEEP ALL YOUR MONEY! DO NOT do business with this company they will find every excuse to add a random fee!
My application was denied after sending a color copy of my social card and not a picture. Guess what if I wanted to submit the picture I need to pay again the application fee for all adults, ALL ADULTS. The application coordinator was unable to explain much or help since she was busy at their Christmas party.

I received an email from progress that I was approved but then she sent me a direct email saying she couldn’t approve me and that she will be changing the application to denied. She couldn’t explain why without contradicting herself and she couldn’t prove it.

They wont get back to you in a timely manner either and when trying to complain they said sent an email but WE WONT REPLY since is just a complaint.

BIG TIME SCAM! They’ll do ANYTHING TO KEEP YOUR MONEY.

My family and I love this company! I’m very satisfied with the attentive and professional attitude provided by Rafael, Lupe and Alma from the Customer Care Department. They were absolutely great! Easy people to talk to and very knowledgeable about their business! Thank you guys!

We were charged landscaping costs to our deposit. We paid a landscaper to come and cut the grass and manicure the shrubbery the day before we left. So the charge was basically just them wanting money. I told my company about it, it is now off of our list of recommended property management companies for the dishonest practice and no transferring employees will be referred this company for a rental.

No communication, no professionalism, lack of organization. Also wait till its time to get your deposit back. Then you will see the real face of this company. Deposit refunding is handled by the accounts department and only communication way is by email. They took 1 month to respond with pictures of items that has no damage and refuse to correct their mistake.

My family and I will be relocating and have decided to lease a house for a while. The Progress Team has been wonderful. Being able to navigate the process from out of state has been big help to me. Everyone has been very helpful and responsive. The lease terms, amenities and requirements have all been clearly laid out. I anticipate getting settled and not needing much interaction but it's good to know that I have multiple avenues to receive support should I ever find myself in need. Great overall experience so far!

Kara Ohs was my leasing specialist. She was amazing! She was kind, quick to solve problems, and made a cross country move easier than expected! We could not have done this without her and progress residential is blessed to have her!

Wish I could rate as a ZERO. This company is terrible. You pay for everything and they fix nothing in regards to service/maintenance requests. It's always the tenants fault is their motto. Be prepared to never speak to anyone in customer service or even your own account manager. Also be prepared to have every dime taken from you because they will attempt every erroneous fee to charge the tenant. All in all in EVERY aspect, they are the worst property management I have EVER dealt with

** Update, still no resolution from anyone at this management company. I have been emailing almost daily on a maintenance request that should have been resolved 2 weeks ago. The Account Manager is not responding or telling me she hasn't heard back from the service department. I know I wouldn't have a job if I didn't do anything for 2 weeks.

No thank you "SocialMedia" I will not reach out to you, that should be the Account Manager messaging ME back.

I have only dealt with this company a month and I'm already over it. Lazy liars is the summary. They have ONE competent employee and unfortunately you will not have the pleasure of dealing with her beyond a showing of your property. From the very FIRST day of lease there has been issues. I have not been able to enjoy our place since stepping foot in! First, I told them my move in date, they changed it to an earlier date without a conversation with me then had the nerve to charge rent for the dates! I had to ASK them to remove the charges since I NEVER agreed to the new date they literally superimposed on me. Thankfully they did. But then we moved in. For entire freaking month siding from my roof has been missing, allowing birds and ANYTHING else to freely roam about in my roof! They ask for 3 days. ITS BEEN 30! We found termites swarming in our children's playroom which I PROMPTLY reported. Guess what? It's been 2 weeks and the ONLY action they have taken is CLOSING the service ticket. No treatment! I'm done calling the stupid "service" number, I've spoken directly to the service "manager" who managed to literally do nothing, and now I'm about to start making noise where disgusting companies like this actually care- in public! Stay away from these people!

Edit: We later found droppings of both squirrel and mice in the attic. Hmmmm can't imagine when that happened they sent a company that doesn't even follow up treatments, just puts baits out and wishes you a good life. I guess where and when these things die is of no concern to them. The screens on the windows are pryed open at the bottoms and some don't even have screens, they want US to pay to to replace them. The last tenant's damage! This all conveniently went downhill after complaining that the manger left several lights on and a door open to our home for days while we were waiting to move in. I guess that shouldn't have bothered us They said we were still responsible for the electricity charges though we weren't even there and THEIR staff did this. This is like the Great Value version of what real property management is supposed to be. I don't feel bad telling you these things, after​ all if it's good enough to do to your tenant it's good enough to be publicly stated:)

Just came to say this same incompetent service "manager" has basically told me and my family that there is nothing that can be done about squirrels in our walls and attic. Apparently this is normal and I should get on with life with them. He was so kind to say he wouldn't shrink wrap our home (cause you know thats what tenants expect and ask for when there are rodents freely coming and going, not wildlife removal) for us to be comfortable. Not one person has been on my roof to locate the entry point and he had ppl come put mice bait in the attic instead. FOR SQUIRRELS. You sir as a special kind of overpaid a-hole. We have found possums, rabbits, and skunks causally chilling in our crawlspace that he has told us can't be prevented. This is the true Progress Residential experience. The entire year we have been here our peace has been disturbed by animals and not one person in this company cares about their investment nor the tenants. NASHVILLE LOCATION.

Pics- this was the way my house looked upon move-in dusty and dirt baked on the blinds. Signs that no professional had cleaned, so I guarantee I won't be paying one when I leave next year. I have a video of the dirt too in case they want to lie!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE all the folks at Progress rental. They have been excellent and efficient. Top notch company and team of representatives. They have excellent follow up to service orders and everyone has always been extremely helpful. I have heard nightmare stories from friends dealing with other rental agencies. Thank God we found this company for our rental needs. True professionals! I also love the convenience of the beginning process of being able to go into the homes we were interested in using a code for entry and taking our time without pressure to see each rental unit. I would give them ten stars if I could!

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Stay clear away from this place. We resided in one of their rentals for 2 years, their were issues with roof leaks and they would send people on to do the very minimum, which was such a hassle and a inconvenience calling them everytime it rained. Before leaving we had the carpet shampooed and even hired a maid service to do a deep clean (We even showed the manager receipts) to be sure that we got our security deposit back. We even did a walk through with one of the managers who said it looked great. Well fast forward a month after we moved out, we received a letter saying they had to paint and do some deep cleaning which meant we only received $45 back from our deposit. Called and left messages and no reply. Run clear away, if you do decide to stay expect minimum communication at the most, don't expect your security deposit back at all.
