My room was great. I loved the decor. The bar and restaurant were fantastic, I loved the atmosphere.

I was not happy with being charged nuisance service fees (internet, etc), in addition a tax on those fees?

Nice hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Close to union station. My only complaint is there are too few TV channels.

I got in late but the front desk associate checked me in quickly. My room was very ckean and well maintained. My bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. I was able to get a great night of sleep.

My experience did not meet my expectations. I reserved a king bed and was given 2 double beds. It was my anniversary and that really ruined our stay. Not to mention it was very loud in the next door room.

Great place to stay. Large comfy rooms. And so close to attraction sites. However there are additional fees for facilities that was not included in the booking fee.

Lovely hotel. Nice, clean, spacious room. Comfy bed. Decent location. Not far from the National Mall and few minutes walk to metro for those preferring not to walk.

A very nice hotel, friendly staff and stylish rooms. Great location very close to the Capitol Building, Union Station and The Mall, several nice restaurants close by. We did eat at The Liaison's bar which was nice but rather expensive. I would certainly consider staying at The Liaison when in Washington next time.

I LOVED this place! Talk about LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Walk outside the main entrance and turn left: the Capitol in all its glory just a block or so away. The Liaison staff is so incredibly polite and helpful and HAPPY. The food prices are a little high, but a) it's a hotel (hello.) ; and b) it was DELICIOUS. One of the best burgers I have had in a LONG TIME, and the chicken dish I had was yummy (not rubbery). I recommend highly, especially for the price point.

Service was amazing, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was small but comfortable. Walking distance to the attractions. I will book here again.

Staff was fantastic, and the rooms were clean. Always had hot water, and full size shampoo conditioner and body wash instead of the tiny size. Amazing location close to everything and walking distance to many places. Only down side was no breakfast and there is an additional fee for something, but not breakfast.

Toilet paper holder falling off the wall, holes in the walls with patches of wallpaper covering them, wallpaper coming off the wall at the seams, chairs in the room with ripped upholstery, and slapped on window tint that was peeling off.

Location was great for our needs. Service was very good. Additional daily service charges above the room charge is ridiculous.and then to be taxed on that is just silly.

The Liason's location is perfect: within walking distance of the train station and the Capitol. Rooms are comfortable and the service is friendly.

Hotel was nice but it appeared to have had a cosmetic makeover that didn't quite fix things. Bathrooms and bedrooms were small. Lots of chipped paint and obvious signs of quick repairs. As someone who has done home renovations it screamed cheap, fast work. The restaurant was not good. I ordered the crab omelette and not only was it bland but it had so much crab shell in it that it was unpalatable. I wasn't able to make it through half the meal. The deviled eggs were good though.

It was my first time in D. C. Everyone was so polite and helpful! The room was clean and very comfortable. Walking distance from a liquor store and union square for more reasonably priced incidentals. I will definitely be back!

The Hotel was very good. Service was very accommodating and the service was consistent. The manger was very polite and answered all request. I highly recommend this hotel. This is not an inside review. I was surprised for the price.

For the money being paid, the rooms definitely need updating.lots of chips in the bath tub.one of the other members in our group found a mouse in her room.the staff are not friendly and not approachable.

Situated in a nice neighborhood approximately two blocks from Union Station and two blocks from the Capitol. Clean and fairly quiet considering our room was on the street side and the hotel is situated next door to the Fire Department.

Very nice room for a reasonable price per night. The restaurant and bar were a bit pricey. Great location, easy walk to the Capital building and surrounding museums.

Very expensive and in a bad neighbor but the location to what I needed was perfect. The water pressure really sucked. Pretty disappointed in it.
